    Let me know if you have any question on Capture One! I will make sure to make more videos on the topic in the future!

    Hi there, is there a way to see the raw fuji file without any film simulations?

    • @ThierryGibralta

      The film simulation is an interpretation of the data itself not a filter or a LUT that you add on top. So you can’t separate it directly from the image.
      If you want to have a very flat image I would suggest you to use the Eterna profile as a starting point

    So when I load in my Fuji raf files directly from the sd card all the controls for any editing are greyed out and the raw file simply can’t be edited.

    Brilliant work flow. Thanks for sharing. I finally feel like I have a good understanding of how to treat my photos from start to finish. Cheers!

    I see that working with sessions has certain advantages but how do you search photos across your entire portfolio, e.g. all photos taken in Sweden or all photos with a five star rating? In a catalog (and with the help of keywords) I can easily do this.

    I am trying to edit just one raf file but even tho I placed it on the capture folder, it doesn’t appear or is greyed out when trying to import it. Any idea why this might be happening? ✌️

      Are you sure you have the license to edit Fujifilm files?

    Why do my Fuji RAW files default to JPG when they're imported into Capture One? I have version 22 for Mac.

      They might not be Raw then. Place your raw files in the capture folder and you should see them as such. If not it means that you are not shooting as Raw

    If you export using 1080px, that would make the photo very small and lose all the quality, isn’t it?

    • @ThierryGibralta
      @ThierryGibralta  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is small indeed but that is what Instagram uses at the moment. So if you don't your picture will be compressed to fit this

      @@ThierryGibralta I see! I tried exporting in 2048px (FB’s recommended size) and my image became 2MP 1.6mb in size. Originally, it was 39MP and 26.7mb. What a waste of 40MP camera sensor! 😩😩😩

      If Instagram is the only place you publish then yes but for prints or other platforms it is not wasted. You should try to print your pictures ;)
