    Monoprice M1570 headphones for $399.99 (regular price $600). Best price I've seen for these headphones: www.target.com/p/monolith-m1570-over-ear-open-back-balanced-planar-headphones-with-plush-padded-headband-removable-earpads-low-distortion/-/A-79385723.

      Hifiman Sundara or the M1570?

    • @ZadiusTech
      @ZadiusTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like the sound of the M1570, the Sundara is a bit to bright for me, but to each his own. The Sundara is a great value though and much lighter, given that the normal price of the M1570 is $600 and they are super heavy.

    • @Sam-lx1ij
      @Sam-lx1ij 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ZadiusTechThe M1570 is on sale right now for $399 and the Sundara is $350 so value is not an issue. Thank you for your response.

    Hey man! Thank you for the awesome video!
    I took apart the stock cable and used your website to understand the wiring. It is the best built cable I have ever seen. They actually filled the 1/4 in connector with some glue material that made it rock solid. I have never seen such a solid cable. So, back to your website, I took a look at your pictures and was able to put a balanced XLR on it. There were four Litz wires inside, so no problems making it balanced. Thanks again!

    Thanks for the awesome discount notice and this review. I believe I like a bit more treble forward headphones. I love the m1060. Are the 1570 more or much more treble recessed than the 1060?

    • @ZadiusTech
      @ZadiusTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You're welcome. The treble on the 1570 is a lot more smoother (recessed), but that is not necessarily a bad thing as ?I found that the treble on the m1060's can be fatiguing at times.

    I had 1070 and they were ok. Clamp was ok, sound was nice, but I wanted something with bigger bass. They are imo similar to K712 but with better resolution and more juicy sound. Also kinda closer presentation, but overall similar.

    Can the treble on these M1570 be considered sweeter than it is piercing or more piercing than it is sweet? I can deal with some high frequency peaks as long as the treble is sweet and has a lot of sssssss when decaying.

    Monoprice needs to change the XLR wiring and use a better/lighter headband. Only then, more of us will consider buying them and/or not return them after trying them on.

  • @thegloriouspotato6223
    @thegloriouspotato6223 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well, I'm probably completely wrong, but Monoprice might have meant "balanced" as in sound signature, although from what I've heard, that isn't completely true either.

    Hi! Do you think that the monolith m1570 are good for rock and pop music? Especially of '70,'80'90.

    • @ZadiusTech
      @ZadiusTech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup, that's exactly the type of music I listened to and it worked really well with that.

    1:39 the next agent 47 Thanks for this amazing review my favorite reviewer I don't think they're going to be a be able to change that headband so we're going to be stuck with that amazingly good headband they would have to copy somebody else's headband to do that and then there would be a lawsuit the Lafayette f990 a ever so slightly smaller headband then that on the M1570 I plan on getting the 1570

    Hey, thx this video is awesome!
    I like warm headphones and i use the x2 and the meze 99 classic. I am interested in some step ups. Would you say this sound ranking is correct: 1570 > 1070 > 1060c open mod > 570 > 1060c > 1060?
    Also if you had to choose between the 1570, the 1990 pro and the lcd 2 classic for general use, which one would you pick?

    • @ZadiusTech
      @ZadiusTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can't speak on first hand knowledge of the 1070 and 570, but based on my experience with 1060, 1060c, and 1570 and what other reviewers have said about the 1070 and 570 I would say that sounds about right. General use for sure would go to 1990 pro.

    Hi! Main difference between Dt1990 and M1570? I will use for enjoy music

    • @ZadiusTech
      @ZadiusTech  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Honestly, the main difference is going to be comfort...the DT1990 I can wear all day whereas the M1570 I can only wear for an hour or two at a time.

    • @ZadiusTech
      @ZadiusTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I've heard the Sendy Aiva. Sendy Aiva would be the safer bet...you can go for m1070/m1570 but you'll have to deal with the weight and clamping force issue.

      @@ZadiusTech Excellent !! I am interested in know between m1070 and aiva,
      1.-Which has wider soundstage and better imaging?. Also,
      2.- which has more Body and the same time tight bass?
      3.- And finally if the highs of the Aiva are insoportable like the last version m1060 from monoprice? I know that the new version m1070 doesnt have those insoporable highs of m1060 but what about aiva?
      I hope you can response me please :D
      I dont care about the comfort and weight.. just sound :D

    Hey quick gaming question. For call of duty gaming would the m1570 be a noticeable upgrade from the sennheiser 558 and Sennheiser hd58X (similar to hd 600 series)??

    • @ZadiusTech
      @ZadiusTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I really liked the sound of the M1570 and I've owned HD650's before. I think if you can get past the heavy weight of the M1570's then go for it.

    I've got these coming Fed Ex on Monday from Target ($400 on sale). So if my neck can't take the weight it's an easy return at least. And I don't understand Monoprice changing the XLX cable inputs on the cups and then not even offering a balanced cable to buy for the M1570. Totally Idiotic move Monoprice. 🤬
