    Robert im envious. I want a timemaster so i can join the big boys club! LMAO. Glad to here that Henry was able to help you out. Thats what friends are for! I flip mowers but i would have to get alot to give up a timemaster. ( if i had one ).Well done my friend and nice series. 👍💲💲💲🇺🇸 Roger

      Thank you my friend .... Yep Henry is a good guy, and I'm sure the both of you will get one shortly..... Thanks for watching, I have a few other things I want to do to it, like a larger gas tank, adding a Toro Puc, which is a wireless Bluetooth device which you can monitor with your phone, for example, hour meter, different levels of maintenance it will keep you on the straight and narrow as to keeping up with tune-ups oil changes, pretty cool..... Bigger battery, I'm also going to look into a different carb that give you the ability to use a throttle control, which is on the new 2021 timemasters.

    Have to explain, I forgot, that tag on the back of the pull start shroud is from a 8.75 weedeater mower, the original one didn't have the bump out for the starter, I just transfered the stickers.

    So, I'm scratching my head with an issue with my 21200 and electric switch. Never had issues with it until two nights ago when I attempted to start the mower with the pull cord. After that, the mower will not shut off anymore from the electric switch/key. Here's what I've troubleshooted so far. Tested the terminals on the back of the switch: M and G give me continuity when the key is in the off position. Then, plugged in the switch connector and tested continuity between its' M terminal to the armature coil -- all was good. So, I can only assume there are no breaks in that path.
    I don't see any other cables for grounding on my mower, except for maybe the blade drive cable. I'm thinking it may ground when passing through that little hole where you adjust tension for it. I move it back and forth to make sure it was touching metal and slightly tightened the bolt. Still no shut-off of my mower when the key is turned to OFF.
    I'm clueless now as to what could be the culprit. Any ideas?

      There should be a ground wire up by the carburetor make sure that is not disconnected, and or tight.

    • @knighthawk86855
      @knighthawk86855  ปีที่แล้ว

      Other then the before mentioned, take the top cover off, make sure the kill wire is still attached to the coil, when putting the top back on do not over tighten the 3 nuts that hold on the pull rope mechanism, only hand tight, otherwise if you ever take it off again, the stud will unscrew from the engine, and it's a pain to get the nut off the stud.

      @@knighthawk86855 yea, I'm not seeing another ground wire at the carburetor. I've seen it pictured on some of the 21199 models, but nothing on mine. Where does the other end of that carburetor wire go? All I have i a white cable going up to the coil.

      @@knighthawk86855 Now that I'm thinking. Two nights ago when this happened, I tilted my mower back [not on its side like I normally do] to check my blades and swap out. After cleaning the deck, I tilted back upright. That's why I attempted to start with the pull cord. It started, but would not shut off. I'm wondering if the ground cable could have come off on the battery. Could that cause the issue?

    • @knighthawk86855

      @@insurroundsound does it start with the key, if not that is a possibility, but check the kill wire are the coil too, let me know tks.

    Here's a thought, I have a few spares laying around, I was wondering how front caster wheels would work on a timemaster?.... Hmmmmm, make it a zero turn timemaster, I'm thinking.... Lol

    I thought the timemaster did not have a stator. Is that not the case?

    • @knighthawk86855
      @knighthawk86855  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it has a keystart, it has a battery, with this level of machine it has a stator to charge the battery.

    • @knighthawk86855
      @knighthawk86855  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I got all the parts.... Keyed flywheel, starter, stator, top shroud, from a weedeater one, you can find them fairly cheep, and just use the parts from it to make a 8.75 or 10.00 series briggs engine a keystart, but sadly, you can't just swap over the weedeater one engine to the timemaster, the crankshaft end, where the pulley goes, it much to small, compared to the timemaster engine.

    • @knighthawk86855
      @knighthawk86855  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A regular timemaster engine does not have a stator, you have to add a few parts from the weedeater engine, its all in my series of making a keystart engine.

    where can i get the wiring diagram for tghis machine mine just stoped working

    • @knighthawk86855
      @knighthawk86855  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you say stopped working what do you mean, it won't start, you can pull the pull rope, and it just won't start, you can't pull the rope at all, if it's a key start, you turn the key, and nothing, or does the engine just turn but doesn't start?
