    I didn't waste time, I totally re-did my new Timemaster with a Kohler command pro, painted deck matte black and rims, experimental under carriage non stick paint, one lever height adjustment and a modified transmission. No issues its a monster on lawns.

    I have one of these. They are an excellent mower except that you can't find one now for under 1399 anywhere. Price went up 400 bucks in less than a year.

      Yep I know check tractor supply. They have a good price sometimes. Most used mower I have...

    i recently bought a toro TM and i have not had this issue you are having even with paint, hope you returned it for another one, maybe the builder felt lazy...sorry this happened to you.

    Excellent and comprehensive reviews of this mower from someone other than a fanboy. Your tips and pointers on its weaknesses and strengths are absolutely priceless. I am strongly considering this mower but have some reservations. Thank-you for the time and effort you have expended to educate us.

    engage the blades slower with the timemaster! Dont beat it up man
    This is my second season with it, and I love it. Allows me to handle 14 yards weekly, solo, after working my full time job. It's been great for me so far, I'm going to be buying another before this year is over.

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep I know better it's my 4th one. It's been a year since I've used it again. I'll be putting on more videos on it how it's holding up. Thanks.

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yep it was I got a new a year later better. But there's a lot of videos of frustration on the build quality. But it's the best cutting mower I think.

  • @MrLewisb33
    @MrLewisb33 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I sure like the way it cranks and you get to engage the blades separately. Not a bad idea for other push mower companies to use

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes that's a good feature 👍. Makes it easier to start I think to. Iv had 3 of these 30 mowers. They not last long enough for me. It's good for open areas. Thanks again for still following me.

    Good honest review. I got one of the cheaper toro last year thinking toro = quality! Boy was I wrong. The handle was so short it was literally killing my back and the hight adjuster are the cheapest quality possible. Good cut, but man I was thinking toro is the best.

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Toro only makes good commercial mowers but if they can't the lower end right. What's going on with the higher end. But they don't care there so big. 🤷. Yes they do have the best cut.. that's it.. lol

    weird…sounds like a dry bearing wizzing away. I got the new Exmark idler pulleys off the commercial for it -way less chinsey I actually am just about to order a TM this week…I’ll swap to the better pulleys right off.

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right on point that's what happens about mid season the ideler pully blew out... yep that my luck I get the one built on Friday at 3 lol.

    little bit confusing review, seems like you have owned a few of them but keep buying them? what other 30inch mower would you recommend? cheerz

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep I'm not right. Just bought another one... I use them hard. A homeowners would get a good use out of it. All the other ones ate just to heavy.....

    • @AaronDav-nq8hk
      @AaronDav-nq8hk 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thecuttingforce Hahaha cant get away from them aye. Seems a nice mower just concerned about the reliability. But the more expensive turfmaster has a smaller engine. there is the Scag SFC30 which is very nice but then it is over double the price of the timemaster so hard to justify

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AaronDav-nq8hk the turfmaster has a bigger engine.. kawasaki or Kohler comander... scag has the same Kohler engine. The pro mowers ate very hevy no revers. Handel's don't fold up..

    • @AaronDav-nq8hk
      @AaronDav-nq8hk 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thecuttingforce yep, its sad they dont make the perfect mower, the timemaster engine and usability with the ruggedness of the commercial units and fuel capacity

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't like the personal pace too when you pull it back a lot it breaks. Gets lose.. but it dos cut good. . Its a maintenance mower... and good one for that..

    I like your very honest reviews man. I don't know whats going with Toro. Seems like quality control is going down hill or you some how end up with the sloppiest ones made that day🤷‍♂️

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I keep saying companies should give me money to buy there products and see how they're doing. I'll find the problem ones. It cuts nice it has its place. But overpriced. I've used them for 7 years or more. Belts cables plastic parts brake on you at the worst time. Lol..

    It literally tells you right in the owners manual not to tip it back like that, you are only supposed to tip it on its side with the oil fill facing up.

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'll have to check that ..I've done that for 5 years never leaked before. . Interesting. Things we overlook..
      This model and the Stowe and stay or stow and go. You should be Abel to tilt it back . 😤. Thanks for your input..

    • @lsuman38
      @lsuman38 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can tip it back like he did, If you do tip to the side, keep the carb/air filter side up. A little oil on the ground is better than oil in the carb.

    Did you take the plug out before you put the grass catcher on to bag?

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      . I just had the bag on in the beginning to show the look of it with the bag. The plug was in. It was mulching.. you can do that to Cary it around. . And looks cool . Then take the bag off .but to bag grass the plug comes out..

    Wow...I did not expect that mower to cost THAT much..
    On Toro's Site it is $1249.00. On Home Depot it is $1199.00.
    BTW: It is not really 10hp. What I have read is it is about 4.95hp (233cc)
    The Label says: "10.00 ft-lbs gross torque at 2600 rpm per SAE J1940". Correct me if I am wrong.
    Great Review though. You are a down to earth guy...
