I love escaping through your videos when life gets a little too much. It reminds me of how much beauty there is in this world and of all the great things I have yet to see. Thank you for keep showing us 🤍
So glad y’all decided to go on the impromptu sunset hike to see the volcano! Especially since you weren’t able to the next day. It’s a lesson to live and do the thing while you can because we never know what tomorrow will hold. Loved this vid! ❤
Elena, this is the best video you created! So spontaneous and challenging....I don't know if you read comments, but I need to say "Congratulations" nothing else!
Awesome! I have done a couple of volcano hikes in Guatemala as a solo female traveler and it was absolutely amazing - highly recommend to anyone thinking about it!
Loved the video! I was literally thinking about it before you said it in the video, I always see you as a person that can be everything all at once. Loving how you always show us different aspects of you and that everybody should chase everything that they are interested in.
Besides simply enjoying the beautiful setting in nature what I learned from this video was to stay happy even when things don't go as we thought. Love to all true happy campers of the world! 👏 🌎
Thanks for coming to my country! Hopefully you'll get to visit other of our beautiful locations, such as Lake Atitlán or Tikal! Love your content always 🩷
Such an inspiring video, one of my favorites you’ve made. I found myself teary eyed so many times and I’m not even sure why. I know exactly the feeling of wanting to push yourself to prove to yourself you can do it. And our bodies are so resilient. The other day I ended up kayaking 4 hours, 2 hours down stream and 2 up hours stream. I would never ever think I would be able to do it, and I just did it. One row after another. I felt so proud of myself and felt this exact sensation and it made me feel alive. Loved the video Elena!!
Elena, you're the most animated and alive when you're on the move. In Paris, i could feel your energy a little low. Wish you the best. Thank you for this beautiful vlog❤
that’s crazy! A friend hiked Acatenango a few months back, and also said hardest workout of her life. My husband and I considered doing that as well but we decided to hike Machu Picchu instead. Cheers!
elena this is so amazing!! i love your outlook on life and the world, the shots of the volcano erupting was so incredible i literally got emotional with you
You are my favourite TH-camr. Each of your videos are all at once comforting, relatable, inspirational but - most importantly - remind us that such adventure is achievable! Such beautiful shots in this, thank you for sharing
You inspire me so much, please keep doing what you're doing in life because it shows the rest of us girls that we can actually do that too. I really wish we would be friends:))
Great video, really enjoyed the cinematic shots. You talked about people from a more urban envierment who might want to travel more and see the world but might get discouraged. I thought it will be a nice subject to explore in a video about doing the first step to break this glass wall which stops so many from seeing what the world has to offer. Would love to hear your take about it.
Elena! I am from Guatemala and can't believe you visited my country! I also did this hike a few years ago and it is tough, particularly the hike to summit after base camp. It is an incredible experience though!
Your videos are like a warm hug on a tough day! 🤗 They remind me of the beauty out there and all the adventures waiting for us. Thanks for sharing these amazing experiences! 😊💕
A few years ago the second largest archaeological ruin in the world was discovered, and it is the first largest ruin of the Mayan civilization, in Guatemala, it is called DANTA, it is in Petén, You can get there from Flores by helicopter (takes 30 minutes) or walking through the jungle (you arrive in approximately 3 days)
Love how this journey serves as a tangible callback to Kim Stanley Robinson’s Red, Green & Blue Mars Trilogy. The Intertextual Connections are going to illuminate my next Convergent Thought trip to my Meditation chair.
For the next time if you come through Miratenango farm you save like 2/3s of the very stiff first part and remember there's plenty of more Guatemala too see and you're more than welcome if you want to come back 😉
Amazing ❤ I am form Guatemala I feel so grateful that you visit us✨, you must also go to “Hato Verde” in Antigua; night life is so much fun (on Saturdays in “El Barrio), you can also visit Lake “Atitlán” considered the most beautiful lake in the world 🌍
Omg! This video has inspired me to travel again!🫶🏼 did this hike back in 2019 and had to sleep in a tent with 0 degrees celsius outside…. I see they have upgraded since then😀
