Thanks for sharing great moments in such wonderful places, feel like getting there!
Thank you for your comment☺️
YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful trip. Guatemala is my native country and you visited great places but maybe in your second visit you could go by " El Castillo de San Felipe", Livington and other side of Atlantic Ocean. And I still remember climbing all that 40 years ago and the pain, the pain.
Ah thank you for your nice words and recommendations ☺️🙌🏻
Feel like I'm reliving it all over again. Thanks guys
Great video. U hit all the spots of Guatemala

Guatemala has always been on my bucket list.
One of our favourites! 💙
Seriously, if you get the chance then just do it. We went last month and the country has loads of great sights and things to do, and the people there were brilliant.

Thanks for the great video and great tips. We are going to Guatemala this week 😊. Which shuttle service do you recommend?
Thank you😊 we added the phone number in the description box, but generally you can easily book it though hotels/hostels 😊
Thanks for the video! I will be visiting next week! May i ask where did you do your currency exchange at?
Thank you☺️ We just use ATMs, but unfortunately withdrawing money can be a bit expensive
We took the chicken bus when traveling in Guatemala. It’s quite an experience, can be quite stressful, but it’s dirt cheap and sometimes faster.
From Guatemala City to Monterrico (black sand beach), some girl at our hostel took the shuttle at 6 am, with a transfer in Antigua, for 15$us. We took a much later « direct » chicken bus, which turns out not to be direct, they overcharge us, but we still manage to arrive there around the same time then her, and pay like 3-4$. That was an adventure!
Yeah we know about Chicken buses and took some in El Salvador.. Usually it’s way longer, it wasn’t as convenient on our route, in fact, there are none that go to Semuc Champey and we all had baggage😓Honestly, the only chicken buses we saw were in Antigua😂
🇬🇹🇬🇹🇬🇹❣️ gracias por las visitas de la nación
❤️
Guatemala is the best Central American country to travel to
Central America has a lot of gems☺️
Gracias por visitar la nacion maya
❤️
Welcome 👍
Thank you☺️
Thank you for sharing high quality content
would you say it is safe overall ?
Thanks for commenting! Yes, we didn’t have any problems 👍🏻
Great video and good tips for planning my trip! I have a technical question - how do you make the moving map clip? What software or what tool is it? Thanks
Great to know you found it useful☺️
We make our maps in an app called TravelBoast😊 Enjoy your travels!
I would add Yaxha to the list of Mayan sites. Very underrated.
Thank you for your recommendation😊
I’m considering going since it’s only about a 3 hour flight from me. Antigua, the volcano and lake seem to be what I’d love to do. How much was the hotel by the lake? How far is the lake from Guatemala City?
hey there! My brother will be traveling/visiting fam in Esquipulas and we're glad to know there is a bus from Chiquimula to Santa Elena. Do you recall the departure time? It's super difficult finding any info since these companies rarely have an online presence. Thanks in advance.
Hi! They are 2 buses in the morning (I think 6 and 10am) and 1 in the afternoon (around 2pm) and you have to buy tickets on the bus station😊
Wow nice video! i plan to go next month to Guatamala is it easy to fly a drone there? do i need to register the drone before i go?
Thanks! We didn’t have any problems with our drone😊
Perfect thanks for your answer!@@SomethingToRemember
Can I ask what would be a recommendation for a camera to video and take pictures I want to get into photography and video, it would help if I can get pointed in the right direction thanks.
We use canon 90d and we absolutely love it!
Thank you for this video, may consider visiting….that hike too hard for a fairly well fit 70 year old?
Difficult to say! It is very steep for quite a large portion of the hike (pretty much the first 4 or 5 hours) which caused problems on the way back down as well because it was hard to keep yourself from slipping & it was sore on the knees..
@@SomethingToRemember I think I’ll pass….
What hostel would you recommend to stay at while in Antigua and in San Pedro?
Hi, we stayed in a hostel called El Extranjero in Antigua and it was fine. We just booked a big Airbnb in San Pedro for all of us so can’t really help you there 😊
How many days in Guatamala City would you recommend I'm on my way there next week.
1 night probably would be enough😊
What time of year did you go?
We went in early May
How much did this all cost excluding the air tix from your home country
Hey, you can learn how much we spent by downloading this guide, it’s free😊⬇️

How can you stay safe in guatamala? like from what i head its one of the most dangerous countries
Just take the same precautions you would when travelling anywhere else - We didn’t have any problems at all 👍🏻
How long to stay in Antigua?
Skipping the pleasantries, but hey, around 2 days is perfect for Antigua.
Did you have favorite hostels while on the trip?
We usually don’t stay in hostels and for this trip we mainly stayed at big airbnbs for 5 people😊
What does "pp" mean. Is that the currency?
PP means per person. The currency is Euro.
@@SomethingToRemember ooh ok .Thank you!
Hi
Your pdf is only 3 pages ? I thought there would be more details?
It’s free though☺️
Thanks for sharing. Is so beautiful and rich the Kingdom of Guatemala established since 1609 and rhat extends from El Soconusco (today Chiapas) to part of Panama. Guatemala is 12th producer of silver in the world and 20th producer of gold besides having massive reserves of nickel, jade and so many other natural resources too bad for almost a century big multinational multi-billionaire anglosaxon criminal corporations have been taking almost everything. Long live Juan Santamaria the heroe of Costa Rica who died in battle against the anglo pirates. The Malvinas belong to Argentina 🇦🇷, The Esequibo belongs to Venezuela 🇻🇪and Belice belongs to Guatemala 🇬🇹. Guatemala exploited and sabotaged for almost a century but never gives up!!. Long live the memory of the great Scottish patriot William Wallace Braveheart. From 1925 to 1984 the Guatemalan currency the Quetzal was paired with the French Franc, the US Dollar and above the Swiss Franc. Sorry for the long message. God bless you all
Hugo what's you're Facebook?
Guatemala is so beautiful, rich and unique. The Malvinas belong to Argentina 🇦🇷 and Belice belongs to Guatemala 🇬🇹 the Land of the great Jacobo Arbenz, Miguel Angel Asturias (Noble Literature Prize and Lenin Prize) and Kjell Eugenio Laugerud the last Guatemalan president who kept the Guatemalan currency the Quetzal paired with the French Franc, the US Dollar and above the Swiss Franc. Kjell Eugenio Laugerud (RIP son of norwegian father and Guatemalan mother) famous for his patriotic fight to recover the Guatemalan territory of Belice. Belice is 100% Guatemalan territory by law and history. God bless you all
The Falklands are British, deal with it
*We appriciate the support cheers from Guatemala, we hope the ICJ doesn't sell out to the Europeans like they tend to do. Guatemala does not deserve to have they're land and marine time term taken from them by a country only 60 years old. I hope Guatemala gets año her land back!!!*
Correct and thank you! This issue is long overdue and Guatemala does not deserve more trauma. It’s a BEAUTIFUL positive place.
Bali is not a country!
