- After owning most of the Ferrari cars throughout my years of owning over 150+ exotic cars, I can say that the Ferrari F8 is Ferrari's BIGGEST FAIL EVER.
People also keep saying the Ferrari F8 looks just like the Corvette C8. This has to be the most inaccurate comparison I've ever heard in my life and in this video I explain why the clowns want to justify why they can't afford an F8.

@@jafores the SF90 looks even less like a C8 than the F8 does lol. The B pillar behind the doors makes it look so different and the front facia is a lot flatter and wider with crazy body design near the headlights. Idk why people are comparing the looks of the C8 to these Ferraris

I’ve owned 458,488 and now F8. The F8 is the best of the three by a mile ! Agree the 458 sounds better but otherwise not even close .
If you take into account the sound/visceral exeprience of the 458, what would you think, makes the F8 better than the 458 ?
@@dvgsusiloSound is only just a part of the overall experience and there are other factors too like driveability, performance, engagement, engine response, grip and handling, etc. The F8 does actually sound good for a turbocharged car and overall it's a much improved and polished product over the 458!

I agree with you about the 488. I drove it around the track and the turbo kicked in at all the wrong times. I didn't like it. I liked the 458 better and the 430 Scuderia even more than the 458 when driving all three around the track.
I like that he back up his theories with factual-ish measures.. unlike people who argue just cause they’re “right”.
I test drove the F8 Tribute twice now…loved it each time. And it sounded great for a TT engine. Also, C8 looks cheap because its typical GM quality.

All I see/hear is a man trying to JUSTIFY "HIS" 488 Pista purchase! Period! The F8 is very similar car to the Pista & someone sounds bitter about it. The F8 Tributo isn't a direct replacement for the Pista. Its a replacement for the GTB (much like the Huracan Evo for the Huracan 610LP) & THATS what it should be compared to

I think the 488GTB is my favorite as for looks. The Pista is icing on the cake!
You’re criticizing features designed to work with the aerodynamics and performance that engineers helped design. To be able to have an opinion of the design, you have to have the right credentials, not just money. I’ll give a good example. Michael Schumacher helped as a consultant in the mid 2000s and he definitely has the right experience critique and engineer’s job. I do agree that some materials could be better, but you should remember that as a business model, you need to leave room for improvements to be able to keep sales going after updates and special editions are made. All manufacturers need to watch their bottom line to survive. If not, they get into trouble such as Aston Martin, that’s constantly on the edge of BK. Just sayin there is a lot more going on in the back end that you may not understand, especially since all you care about is spending your hard earned money without educating yourself on what you are buying

Funny to read comments from people who are not part of the ECH tribe... PJ is the real deal. You never have to guess what he's thinking. Love that about him. You don't have to agree with him, won't effect him one bit. He's usually spot on when you watch videos 2 years later as directly related to the product, data interpretation, and projections.
Couldn't agree more on the 458 man. IMO that was THE last real Mid Engine Ferrari. Pininfarina perfection and NA sound! Raw, modernized analog feel and a design that has aged all so well!

Most "experts" say the F8 Tributo is one of, if not the greatest ferraris ever made, with 710 hp, and a daily driver around town, you get the best of both worlds, I personally love this car, and the drivers view range is fantastic, my friend owns the Huracan, and the view while driving stinks, and the F8 blows it away in the 1/4 mile, despite the fact the lambo was all wheel drive.

If you want a v8 buy a c8, gt500 etc. want a v12 buy lambo. Want a classy sports car get a porsche. Non hyper ferrari and v10 lambos are trash. Italian cars have not been what they should be since the late 90’s. Better cars with better value than these overpriced shit boxes. If you want a real road experience get a bike. These cars are just a brand now, there is nothing special about them any longer.

All I’m saying is that I understand how people can mistake the two if they aren’t car people and that doesn’t make them “blind and poor.” My gf would sometimes mistake my car for someone else’s that looks nothing like mine, but since it’s black and they share a similar shape, they look the same to her.

I was wondering why a steven seagal video was popping up on my timeline, then I realised it was exotic car hacks.
If you can get past the bad language, grammar and drama it is a balanced review. It probably isnt a Ferrari press car so he gave his view and his knowledge of the good, bad, parts, interior, infotainment etc are all on the money. Infotainment has been Ferrari’s weak point upto the SF90 and Roma unless you paid the $3k option for Apple CarPlay.
Nice to have a different review style from the saccharin norm. Don’t have to agree with his review but you can appreciate it for what it is.

I own a Huracan 610-4 and I was planning to upgrade to 2020 488 but Ferrari suddenly decided to make this Corvette instead.
Well you get the Pista engine for a lot less money. And a better chassis.

Only poor people think that Ferraris look like corvettes-because corvettes are all that they’ve ever experienced and will experience. I’ve heard the same commentary related to the 812. I call the C8 the poor man’s LaFerrari because the basic silhouette of the LaFerrari is what I see when I see the C8 corvette. And the only reason why poor people are so hyped about the C8 is because it has Ferrari performance at a poor man’s price while imitating a Ferraris design while they can’t actually afford a Ferrari.
