So hauntingly beautiful, it’s like she’s actually reaching out to Heathcliff and calling him softly. And that guitar solo at the end feels like ascending to heaven
Audience appreciating Kate. Kate appreciating the audience. She has the greatest smile - waving and jumping up and down with glee reveals why she is so universally adored. We can relate to her.
When I heard song for the first time, a as a 13-teen girl i found my hero and that's was love on the first sight. Till today... Thanks for everything 💓💓💓🙏❤️❤❤
So beautiful... Kate's unique and inimitable voice, her gestures, her joy, and her great musicians... Del Palmer's bass, Alan Murphy's magnificent guitar solo... Absolutely stunning...
Kate is one that works in a deep manner and shares that with us (joy, sorrow, et al). Two of her other songs in this genre that directly come to mind are "Among Angels" and "The Fog".
I have always loved this song. I come back to it every few years and binge listen to it for days... Something about Kate's voice and free flowing dance movements just takes me to a different place. The outro guitar lead is phenomenal... Great job by Alan Murphy and lest we forget Lian Bairnson played on the original studio track. Rip to both gentlemen.
I don’t think a lot people still get how groundbreaking this show was in terms of being the first of so many live shows that are seen today. Yes, there was Bowie, but this show was a template for Madonna, then…up to Taylor Swift... Just incredible! ❤❤❤
@Daniel.W.Bridge Look up the wonderful old movie of the same name. Apparently, Kate loved it (and probably the book). Read the synopsis and the song will come to life for you.
Those who knew how to sing became a singer, those who didn't know how had to look for something else, now anyone becomes a singer even if they don't sing anything
Out on the wily, windy moors We'd roll and fall in green You had a temper like my jealousy Too hot, too greedy How could you leave me When I needed to possess you? I hated you, I loved you, too Bad dreams in the night They told me I was going to lose the fight Leave behind my wuthering, wuthering Wuthering Heights Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy I've come home, I'm so cold Let me in your window Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy I've come home, I'm so cold Let me in your window Ooh, it gets dark, it gets lonely On the other side from you I pine a lot, I find the lot Falls through without you I'm coming back love Cruel Heathcliff, my one dream My only master Too long I roam in the night I'm coming back to his side, to put it right I'm coming home to wuthering, wuthering Wuthering Heights Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy I've come home, I'm so cold Let me in your window Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy I've come home, I'm so cold Let me in your window Ooh, let me have it Let me grab your soul away Ooh, let me have it Let me grab your soul away You know it's me, Cathy Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy I've come home, I'm so cold Let me in your window Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy I've come home, I'm so cold Let me in your window Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy I've come home, I'm so cold
The praise in these comments is a bit much. She was cool and talented but... Other people were also doing stuff like this. Theres lots of examples on a small and large scale. In the USA, England and elsewhere. The band Gong is one of them. Google them, youtube them.
@roxmarte9689 In 2014 Kate's teen son, Albert, convinced her to do a show once more. "Before the Dawn" had 22 sold-out shows at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.
Same here! I think it was the extra high pitch and I couldn't understand the lyrics. Hated it! Now after all these years it's been haunting me lately and I've read the lyrics. Obsessed and overawed by her talent 😮

나도 똑같은 감정이야
The Joy! The Joy! And the gratitude.❤❤❤
Also very in keeping wirh the song, one can imagine our loved ones waving to us from the other side.
Kate is a genius writer, singer, dancer, performer. And THAT is how the bass guitar should be played (Del Palmer whoop).
She is the greater Artist, love how she move her hands, as she touching the windows glass to find a way in
Audience appreciating Kate. Kate appreciating the audience. She has the greatest smile - waving and jumping up and down with glee reveals why she is so universally adored. We can relate to her.
The instrumentals during the credits are brilliant
That part gets me everytime, it takes you to another place
She is a Queen!

Written at the age of 16 Kate Bush gifted us one of the most beautiful pieces of art in the modern era. Just saying.
She was 18.
So beautiful... Kate's unique and inimitable voice, her gestures, her joy, and her great musicians... Del Palmer's bass, Alan Murphy's magnificent guitar solo... Absolutely stunning...
In tears, every time. Damn - why does she do this to me?!
Kate is one that works in a deep manner and shares that with us (joy, sorrow, et al). Two of her other songs in this genre that directly come to mind are "Among Angels" and "The Fog".
Alan Murphy playing his take on Iain Bairnson's BEAUTIFUL solo at the end is just supernatural.
Absolutely brilliant solo.
Beautiful... I haven't tired of it for 45 years
What an artist. This has to be the greatest song ever written.

The solo at the end is something I keep coming back to. Pure perfection. Inspired.

Incrível essa performance da Kate Bush maravilhosamente com esse solo de guitarra no final da musica faz agente viajar nas nuvens 🥁🎹🎸🎸🎸
Female "Bowie". Just EPIC!
@matthewphilip1977 David Bowie was great too ! It's maybe not your cup of tea, but Bowie was really great in his own.
Out on the wily, windy moors
We'd roll and fall in green
You had a temper like my jealousy
Too hot, too greedy
How could you leave me
When I needed to possess you?
I hated you, I loved you, too
Bad dreams in the night
They told me I was going to lose the fight
Leave behind my wuthering, wuthering
Wuthering Heights
Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy
I've come home, I'm so cold
Let me in your window
Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy
I've come home, I'm so cold
Let me in your window
Ooh, it gets dark, it gets lonely
On the other side from you
I pine a lot, I find the lot
Falls through without you
I'm coming back love
Cruel Heathcliff, my one dream
My only master
Too long I roam in the night
I'm coming back to his side, to put it right
I'm coming home to wuthering, wuthering
Wuthering Heights
Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy
I've come home, I'm so cold
Let me in your window
Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy
I've come home, I'm so cold
Let me in your window
Ooh, let me have it
Let me grab your soul away
Ooh, let me have it
Let me grab your soul away
You know it's me, Cathy
Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy
I've come home, I'm so cold
Let me in your window
Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy
I've come home, I'm so cold
Let me in your window
Heathcliff, it's me, I'm Cathy
I've come home, I'm so cold
The best song by a female singer
Perfekcja. Pure PERFECTION! It's incredible... ❤❤❤
World class artist ❤ I’m only 30 and just don’t think I’ll ever get the chance to see her live 😔
I'm 30 too. It's rare to find someone in the same age to like kate bush. I love her and would love to see her live too. :)
Mate I'm 66 - not many people have ever had a chance to see her live, she's not that sort of an act. Just be glad we can listen to her stuff.
Una maestra
she is amazing
Sublime❤
She wrote about my favourite novel at age 16. Thank you so much for bringing my favourite film of 1992 and book of the 1800s to the music world.

4:09 this is why you're here.
I'm ashamed to say I hated this song when I first heard it. What was I thinking?
same, I am obsessed with it now
Same here! I think it was the extra high pitch and I couldn't understand the lyrics. Hated it! Now after all these years it's been haunting me lately and I've read the lyrics. Obsessed and overawed by her talent 😮
I was a kid, 7 or 8 when I saw her on Top of the Pops.
She scared me!
I hated her; I loved her too!
What a talent ❤️
