Another way to deal with the issue could be having a higher heal regeneration rate while walking... Like +1 extra hp per X meters walked...
It's an option but idk how i would feel about this, crafting is like the absolute main mechanic in monster hunter since the first game. It just feels super wrong to not be able to craft and have to spend money to play the game or have to wait for 45min everytime. I think we agree that 45min is pathetic with especially this 3h events. It almost feels like a pay to progress game at this moment, and i think thats not what mh should be all about.

@@Ugin_Spiritdragon Crafting has been a core mechanic in the previous games, that's for sure, but so it was getting your bag full of different objects so you would outplay a wyvern and I bet we won't see much of that in here...
The issue I see with adding a crafting system in MHN is that getting the objects takes an amount of effort and time that in the previous games didn't. If you are a player that doesn't have many object spawns nearby, crafting would limit a whole lot of your equipment upgrades as well. So... Idk man... What u think?
I’m happy with the way it works, it would be cool if walking increased regen but not needed. Only walking though, not if you’re moving fast like a bike or skate
@@TelmoZanguitu sorry for the late reply😅 yeah thats a pretty valid point. Outside of the bigger city's it could cause major problems, i wasn't thinking about that. So maybe a better way to get some more potions and stuff could be a pokestop like update. Or they could just do it like, if you walk x amount you restore 10%hp or something like that. That would play out for pretty much everyone.
The lack of "free" potions is a real problem.
Its okay for a quick walk but when I want to play a bigger session I usually keep away from 5star monsters just so I dont run through the potions in an hour..
People who dont usually spend a lot of money on games or dont have the money to spend are going to stop real quick.
That + the fact the player base isnt the biggest (I'm literally the only one playing where I live) makes me think the game will die down pretty quickly.. still hoping it wont though :-D
Yeah i agree, a bandaid thing to help is trying to make a build with Health +5 and divine blessing +5 it really helps to stretch your potion out more.

i would usually have a safe day where i stack up till i have 10 aids + 5 yet to claim, before a big day of grinding
100% agree. Maybe thats why so many players pivot to playing range weapons since it is safer to do so as compared to a melee weapon.
It should not be the case where players choose a weapon just because potions are not craftable.

Its important to remember, Capcom/MH has people working on this game too, not just niantic. And if they can put pressure on naintic to respond to community feedback, AS LONG AS WE ARE RESPECTFUL, we may see some of these changes come sooner than later. Not that anyone from this community has been disrespectful (that Ive seen) just something to the games community as a whole

I do hope they add crafting. That was a main perk in the main games. Litterly go out with nothing and come back stacked with loot
They need to give us an option to craft potions. They can still gain money by selling high grade potions with gems. We have a thing called Mega potion that can heal a hunter up to his/her full hp. That's what they should sell and let us craft the regular potion that gives u half HP when used instead

I do agree with what you are saying, 5 first aid meds is not enough especially during events.
I went 3 hours hunting pink rathian yesterday and unfortunately I only have a thunder sns(I usually use ranged weapons) and it was a pain.
It should not feel bad to use potions, I just think about how this is a 50 cents potion lol
Crafting should be a thing, and at the very least give us more event quests!
There was an event quest for Diablos, idk why they didnt do it for tobi or pink rathian. Give us another 10 first aid meds on "community days" or these special events where you want us to be playing for 3 hours... but it's hard to do that without potions
I love how you showed yourself moving back and forth while playing horizontally. As a LGB player, I do that a lot to break the head of monsters
Of all the issues with Monster Hunter Now, I find having constant server issues interrupting fights the biggest. If I can interact with a monster, let me play the fight on my device. It shouldn't require a flawless connection once I engage.
Man during the pink rathian event it was so frustrating, because I was playing with my underleveled friend who I could carry through the 5 star pinks but he ran out of health pots like an hour into the event (we had to drive around to even be able to encounter more than a handful of these things) and it was like… welp I guess I’m on my own 80% of the time now.
Not to mention my palico has completely stopped marking monsters since the October 13 update… like bruh come onnnn Niantic, it feels like the same one step forward two steps back we’ve been having with Pokémon go all these years.
I’m also one who doesn’t like to complain too much but boy does Niantic love giving me things to complain about. Like come on! They are charging people money for extra palico paintballs via the pass then add an update that completely breaks the feature! These are things that other companies would have at least publicly addressed by now, if not fixed.
I’ve been playing fire emblem heroes on and off since it was released, they had a similar model that limited playtime through a stamina system. The players were annoyed but didn’t even complain that much about it and IntSys still realized quickly that limiting players’ play time was not the way to go and they started giving out stamina potions as quest rewards like candy, I have over 1000 of them now.
Like fire emblem, monster hunter has a fiercely loyal fan base and it would be so good to see Niantic finally foster a good relationship with the players.
Yeah same problem my palico doesn'tmark any monster now after the update
I hope they eventually add in a feature to how in MHW you could send your palico out to mark monsters for you while you have the app closed / in the background to specifically mark things around you like games been closed for 1-2 hours your palico will mark one of your targeted/filtered monsters of choice otherwise you'll just get stuck with random marked things for gear you don't need/want in order to put together a skill set on things.
Having the palico limited to 3 monsters per day really sucks with no filters. I want only purple star monsters. Instead, I get a couple 3 star kulus and maybe a diablos.

I do agree that crafting items should be added in, we are already crafting weapons and armor.
They could even lump it into the shop too. Making it cost a little bit of zenny as a limiter.

They shouldve spawned Pink Rathian more this weekend and make it rare during normal days instead of it being exclusive only event. Especially when the drops are so poor.

I live in an area where theres essentially just me playing solo and i've found poison to be super beneficial against monsters like diablos who dash around a lot so atleast while you're chasing after them damage will slowly tick along. low spawn rate of pink ranthians really do be bad/low lol. On a side note if you know the monsters animation to when it is going to roar just like the normal games you can time your dodge and get free dps while it continues the animation (:
"pretty high end" is a understatement.... Did a diablos with 3 others in my town, couldn't even get him to half health... This is very much a Niantic pay to have fun game ....

Had no chance to kill any Diablos at the event, but now I'm high enough to get them done easy, Legiana LBG is pretty good for them.
Make the event the whole weekend, because its hard for a working adult to play when time is fixed for the event, what if I'm free during the night ? I can leave my job during working hours.. what if I work shifts ? The spawn rate is already sad.. I live on a 92km size island, we only have like a medium size town, not city/metropolis.. very few land mark, on top of that the spawn.. I had to go into a forest to get a 6* Pink Rath.. there was no clear path to her.. thankfully there were no snakes along the way.. it was a 10 min walk..
Or make the event day have more Forest area when its Pink Rath day..
i recall. Pink rathian. I was on the edge of barely clearing pink rath solo. Literally used all my pots before the 2nd pink rath. Welp, had to turn back and go home. lol that was a short walk ahaha.
don't forget, the big gathering nodes are on a 3 hour timer, where in Pokemon Go the pokestops are on 5 or 10 minute timers, so you end up not being able to upgrade things because you can't get enough monster bone m's
That that actually triggers the crap out of me. I left out a BUNCH of complaints from this video haha.
make adding friends actually have meaning. allow tagged monsters to be fought by hunters on your friendllist no matter the distance/location!
A lot of lessons I want to share to prepare for events next time
I want to do homework to know large parks locations, preferably at least 2 zones big. Parks are great for events due to 1 hour refresh. Check the python script about zone and day rotation of zones to preempt where to farm, e.g. pink rathian forest, diablos desert. Have 10 emergency potions ready to day prior to event, so that is 15 emergency potions for the event day.
For the large parks, check if bicycles or electric scooters are allowed. They are preferable to cover large zones quick, and allow time to even go to the next mile if there are other zones outside the park, and get back to the park at the hour refresh to repeat.
Get familiar with the park amenities such as water points or toilets. Also prepare sunscreen.
Capcom did the sad mistake to choose niantic... they will use all the possible ways to monetize everything that could make the game more enjoyable for more than 2h. Craftable potions, dont remove event mons completely and give them a shiny chance like pokemon main games do and the game would be an easy 10/10
they could easily add campfires like pokestops or gyms where u need to phisically visit to restore heath, it would help

Hitting my 2nd week of MHN home only challenge. I finally upgraded my kulu head piece after I got kulu spawn
Im a new sub so idk what games you've played or your mindset on mobile games but i hope they go in the direction of JWA(Jurassic World Alive) where people can play around the world from the comfort of their home or wherever. As long as you're friends you can send an invite. Like JWA, this game is limited to 4 players vs. computer. MHN is a fun game, I play with my kids but wish there was a and invite to join battle function.

A way they could solve the health problem to make an item that heals you outside of combat. I was thinking of bringing the cooking mechanic into the game. You could hunt herbivores for their meat as they appear and cook it to make steak, each quality gives you a different amount and it would save your potions for fights. I made a post about it in the MHN community forums.
Leaks say something like this is coming, I just don't like covering leaks until they are actually announced.
I’ve played many online multiplayer and games-as-a-service type games over the past two decades. I’ve been a consistently hardcore PoGo player for the past 7 years. I can objectively say that Niantic is the most egregious company I’ve ever dealt with.
Not trying to be negative, Hunter’s Notes, but it’s just an unfortunate fact 😭. The core of their games are so awesome and fun. Essentially MMORPGs, but the game world is the one we live in. I love their games, but at least with PoGo, they vehemently disregard their playerbase’s feedback. The team working on MH Now may be different, and has already shown promise simply by acknowledging the potion issue, but holy hell, they had dollar signs in their eyes when they made the conscious decision to release it with the current potion system.
“Detrimental to your business model, Niantic.” They have us constantly scratching our heads. It was the same with the Remote Raid cap and price increase. Somehow both anti-consumer and anti-profit all at the same time 😅
Just fyi, you can make a bunch of email accounts, use those accounts to make an MHN, and use the referral code from your main and once you hit lvl 6 you will get 5 potions, 3 paintballs and 300 zenny. Not much, but you can grind one of those accounts to HR 6 without moving and generally I can grind out about 5 in an hour while watching a movie.
Considering 5 potions cost $2.99, and a single paintball costs $2 per. Yeah, I'd take advantage of it as much as you can. Apparently, you can do 20 per month. needless to say, I've maxed out my 20 this month. I highly advise it for the events I would ride around, tag 10 pinks then go home and fight them at my leisure.
Got to grade 6 P. Rath LS and Waist. But I did to spend a little bit of cash on potions which sucks. Still happy with the event and excited for Silver Rath! I think we should get 10 free Med kits a day or be able to craft potions with materials from plant outcrops!

what i'm after is a way to earn gems, to be locked behind a pay wall sucks, but loving tje game so far, and My Daughter and Me stumbled upon a pink Rathian the day on a walk, Amazing to get some AR picks of it in the street
The thing they need to change is the weapon design. Most of the hammer look very boring, just some monster skin slap on basic weapon unlike MH1 has cool hammer designs
Thats becouse the game is based on MH World and World also didn't have many unique weapon designs.
Now and World also share a very simular Monster roster.

I could barely take done diablos Dering the event, but could not take done the black diablos I found. But I did like the tasks we got. Unlike the oct. events we have this month that did not have anything ☹!!!

Same goes for the Pink Rathian event..I am HR23 but only on chapter 4 and can't upgrade my weapons pass Grade 3 yet. I am taking the advice on not to pass the Rathian 4 star as I am grinding all the low levels as much as I can. I just unlocked the hammers, bows and Samurai Swords. When I hit HR21 and I saw a bunch of 4 star and 5 star Rathian, I was huh? why are 4 and 5 stars spawning..not realizing the time event then. For sake of it, I tried one of these 4 stars and was doing decent until I got one shot.
Also trying to find these big nodes in my area..Come to find out, they are more in public land marks..Such as parks, post office, schools..Lucky I work at a University and there are like 8 I can grab on site and if I walked another mile, I can go on campus and get like another 7 more. But where I live, there aren't any close to me. I went into town at about 8pm and was near a park where I live to grab some..Thing is, there is police station there also and when I was parked on the side of the road gathering and taking down monsters, a cop pulls up side of me asking me if everything was ok..I said yea, I was just checking my phone...then decided it wasn't a good idea to drive slowly through the park at night to hunt as it would look suspicious I am doing something up to no good :).

You can zoom out the camera while you're hunting a monster so that you can see the monster's attack properly.

Solo player here and I was bummed cause, even if I wanted to I wasn't geared properly for Diablos. Even now that I have an ice weapon it's still hit or miss killing Diablos. Gotta farm the Ice bird for the Ice attack underwear. Lol
instead to put out a diablos event they should of did a booster event and just make spawns of the first 5 big bosses to help players get the moves dawn by having those 5 monster spawn as often as the litte mobs spawn do, sinse as a solo player i was stuck on the chapter in witch you needed to defeat diablos for more then a week
Potion is nothing ..monster 8⭐️..you won’t have time enough to dent thier hp…then finding thst ..most monster span now are your level ⭐️..no more abundant weak monster to farm fast
What gets me is the timer....they could have just put higher HP on monsters and removed that timer or increase the duration of the hunt time...but that short timers makes me fail couple of times already especially when my network is slow on an area it sucks....

It would be cool if you earn something just for walking. Like the Eggs in Pokemon go. Hunting aside i feel that the Game lacks on stuff to do and get.
It's crazy how you can play Pokemon Go the whole day, but mhn is limited because the heal regeneration.

Niantic want to squeeze as much as they can from mh fanbase before improving any QoL. I like this game but goddamn can't party with my mates unless we are close, the potion cost me 10bucks/5pots in my currency. It's ridiculous but I can't stop playing at the same time😂

I'm struggling with the diablos quest, Ive been trying to grind a weapon for him but what i need never drops from girros!

all to me, the main issuse of Monster Hunter Now is Capcom frachising / Co-work MHN with NIANTIC.
by stronger computing power from nowadays mobile, i think re-master / reworking Monster Hunter Explore (base on MHW storyline) will be a better idea.
and i dont think GPS game is still a trend....
Another pointer to add, that is the drop rates in this game are sucks, in my case, i'm already farm like more than eleven-ish like times Tobey Kedecc (4/5☆) n it's always droping rarity 1 drops lol,

If they don't let us craft potions why not give us more free paint balls? I feel like my palico never uses them when I want and I ran out way too early. Thats a big deal in my home town because I could encounter way more Monsters if I could just sit down at specific places. I started maining the bow and it just is not possible to fight while walking because the game uses the gyro sensor so I am forced to stop moving. I wish I didn't have so many complaints because it actually is a good mobile game but I'm not progressing as well as I want to.
There are way more points that I don't like about the game because they don't make sense. For example: I need 9 (!) Anjanath tails to upgrade my BOW, wtf?! So I have to play another weapon to farm for my main weapon? Come on Niantic!
Need to crafting items too so we don't trash them

This Game is just not made for the West.
So could just means after done using 5 potions, done with the game for the day basically 😂
Right now im sitting on 7⭐️ Hunts, and as for now, i have no trouble killing them. Maybe thats because i use the bow to play at distance, and focus 5 build for a 30% faster charge time. But even so if i get hit once, i drop down from 130 to 20 Hp whit a single blow. So for me right now, potions arent rly my personal issue, but i agree that niantic should add a bit more for all of us, like (+1hp per mob kill) or an option to let us craft Potions or droplets to improve range by 50% , or let us sell mats for a small amount of Zenny. Theres no need to have 1000 Hide or Bones if you cant upgrade all those Gear whitout cash 🤷♂️, unless you whale for money or hunt like crazy
Also i like to add, that i wish for a online matchmaking session. You found a Diablos 5⭐️, and you want to play whit other hunters? Just create a room and your Party will be displayed to everyone else who can join at any moment. This would be a good way also to earn mats from other hunters Kill‘s even if it were reduced by 2-3 drops only, but this could fix the issue for many whit spawns beeing rare sometimes if you re looking for specific ones like rare 5 plates wich only drop from 6⭐️ above… and holy sh.. those monsters are rare af
If we have a max amount of 10... why do they only give 5 free potions? Just give us 10 first aids every day...
Crafting would be nice IF the materials for potions don't overlap with the already high demands for materials for equipment...
This is a free game..if U want to keep it free..potion is one of the way they gain revenue..should stop complaining about that potion and git gud.abuse absolute evasion and Devine blessings..mh is always a grinding game..feature to spend money on double reward is already a cheat by choice.i love this game. And I still play it for free.coz of this game,Ive been playing again mh series on 3ds with other mhnow players..
Why shouldn’t we complain about the potions? U say to abuse absolute evasion and divine blessing but it’s easier said them done. In the late game you need as much damage skills as possible and not everyone can get that perfect evade 100% of the time. We’re humans, mistakes are bound to happen at some point. So please don’t pull this stupid git gud bs like it’s advice
I feel like node regen should be every hour instead of 3 hours.

I still havent seen a diablos, dunno if im to behind in story or not. Seems like im a long ways away from participating in events. As a long time hunter no crafting is against the spirit of monster hunter frfr.
I'd say let the potions be craftable and replace the meds with energy drinks then replace the overworld health bar with stamina instead.
Every fight reduces stamina for certain amount depending on what you're dealing with like if it is a small monster, large monster, and monster level.
Energy drinks will be the one you can purchase with real money so you can continue hunting immediately. Stamina will also replenish overtime when resting.
This way, health potions will be available for crafting and will be used more often during fights only.
Players will also gonna be able to use their favorite weapons now and not force themselves to use range weapons out of necessity.
But that will punish good players that is actually grinding. Imagine going place to place hunting monsters and not getting hit but cannot continue because you ran out of stamina.
@@lsr444 well that's just a suggestion. I'm just being fair when it comes to players and Niantic.
Still, it's much better than getting hit, lose a match then wait for 30 minutes before you can have atleast 50% health.
Imagine if my suggestion happens, you can always fight a monster on full health. You'll just have to wait atleast 5 minutes to have a rematch with it after losing round 1.
If you think that's going to be a problem then they can just make energy drink a craftable item too.

Yeah, click to hunt the monster then in the top left corner, there should be a button that says "AR" click that and you can take a pic. (If it's not there, then your phone is probably incompatible.
