    I love st19 movements and have a huge fascination with them and I bought this.
    One thing to keep in mind is that st19 movements Chrono first clutch gear is it's not supported on top, so it springs a little, which can result in the Chrono second hand being a little jumpy. It keeps absolutely perfect time, it isn't skipping teeth, but it does look weird. Just something to know.

    Beautiful timepiece, I have my eye on the blue one. I am buying this watch purely for the movement and I love that they added 2 more complications to make this for me the "poor man's" Longines Master Collection equivalent... almost.

    I have that exact watch for a few years now, works fine apart from the chono pusher that doesn't spring back easily, I need to "pull" it a bit, but not all the time. Other than that it's been working nicely. The chrome steel picked a few mini scratches, but next to invisible. So apart from the push button issue, it's been working nicely for perhaps 3 or 4 years now (can't remember) and I've been wearing it quite a bit. Another thing is the winder is a bit "stiff" to wind, but again not been a problem so far. I suspect someone could take it apart and lubricate it easily enough, and perhaps I'll find someone to "service" it at some point. Oh, the butterfly clasp and the bracelet are actually very nice!

    Also wooden toothpicks work for the small pushers. Don't use a large screwdriver or something - it looks like they are 3mm etc across but only the tiny middle portion moves.

    I bought this Sugess chronograph. I had to open it and adjust the eccentric of the second clutch gear. I had to adjust the balance spring stud (beat error) and index (daily rate) and right after that all was fine...until today. The watch came 3 weeks ago with an amplitude of 290 degrees which is fine. Today the amplitude is barely 200 degrees. The watch was not oiled properly. Screws of the back are damaged. Someone at the factory didn’t use the adequate screwdriver. I’m tired of low quality Chinese manufacturing.

      sounds terribly frusterating. I know mine has the jumpy chrono second hand problem. have you tried contacting them about it as a warranty issue since it is so new? just wondering if they would consider that not running within spec and offer replacement or repair? I have no idea how well Sugess handles warranty issues

    • @JPTRAN
      @JPTRAN 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@wymanscorneroftheworld8777 I have contacted them since I received the watch. Having solved by myself the beat error, daily rate, and jumpy chronograph issues all was fine...until the loss of amplitude because of bad oiling or no oiling on important parts. Amplitude went down from 290 to 170 degrees. After cleaning and oiling the upper and accessible balance stone I gained 30 degrees. The amplitude is now around 200 to 220 in all positions. I have to disassemble the watch completely, do the servicing myself. Sugess told me I can’t return the watch because I opened it. Otherwise you can return the watch for free within 15 days. After that you can return the watch but they don’t support shipping. I don’t expect anything from these Chinese micro brand. They buy movements and case them with very low quality expectations. If it runs it’s OK.
      If you buy on AliExpress as I did, with coupons giving you a better price, they send you the bad quality watches they have.

    The watch I bought had some oiling issues. Too much oil in some places and no oil in others . The escapement wheel oil sink was overflowed. Palets where completely dry and dirty . I had to fix that.

    Sorry if this is a stupid question but are the date/moonphase features of the watch apart of the movement functionality or are they independent and have to be manually adjusted daily for accurate information?
    In other words, come midnight will the date/moon phase change by its self or will I have to remember to do it myself every morning?

    • @wymanscorneroftheworld8777
      @wymanscorneroftheworld8777  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you remember to hand wind the movement every morning to top it off, all those things will continue to track with the movement of the watch. except for the normal oddball months that don't have 31 days but luckily with the external side button to advance its easy to keep up with that.

    • @ratdad48
