Well, well. I think I did OK here to be honest. The Sugess is a wee bit big, but lovely looking, and the Agelocer is far nicer than I had hoped for. The dial is just so rich looking. Shame about the strap/bracelets! just as well I have a shoebox full of the things eh? Cheers, Jody

Yes totally agree with you, both excellent choices , I myself picked up the Agelocer recently and am very pleassd with it, it definitely looks better quality in person back and front and also keeps good time on the timegrapher.
It does have H Moser vibes and considering the price overall packaging etc I think well worth the money a great bargain.
The Agelocer is a decent looking watch with nice dimensions. The movement is very nice as far as finishing is concerned, and I like that it's a high beat with 80hrs power reserve movement.
I have an Agelocer Codex. The movement in it sounds loose.

I just received the very same chronograph and I also swapped out the toad skin band with in 20 minutes of opening the box. I’m well pleased by this purchase otherwise, thanks for the heads up!
Two beauties. Very unique date window on the Agelocer. I'm starting to become less leery of Chinese movements.
The Agelocer looks amazing. I ask them if they can do custom printing to remove the 80 hr etc…. They are able to. But need a minimum 10 watch order to do it.

Purchased the agelocer after watching your aliexpress video , just received and unboxed mine after sizing the bracelet I have to say I really like shiney blingy wrist presence. Wears well on my 7.5 inch wrist

I really like both of these, I am most impressed with the Agelocer, second hand is a bit different but not a deal breaker. The Sugess is really pretty, very vintage looking.

My Bliger GMT explorer homage is a fab watch Seiko NH34 movement and a sliding micro adjusting bracelet Looks great and keeps great time. Only £80 including tax.
That counterweight on the seconds hand looks like one-quarter of the patek-like logo. I kind of like it!

What is impressive with the Gel Ocer movement is that its sized for modern case/dial sizes with the date out at the edge (nod to Nomos) where it should be for maximum numeral size. The Swiss are still using movements designed for 28- 32mm cases leaving the date wheel smaller and well inside the dial edge.
I all the “me too” major brands, good value, great quality and available. My only challenge is I like to see a watch on my wrist before I buy but I might break that rule on one or two from the brands in your video. Thanks
I have owned the subdial seconds Agelocer for about a year. The leather strap by far the best from Ali brands. Heat blued hands. Only gripe was no hacking. Finishing blows SM away.
Okay, I am sold on the Agelocer. The dial is hard to ignore.
The sugess salmon dial is beautiful
IMO they should put an applied logo on the dial above the brand name and put "80 hour power reserve"' on the lower half of the dial. Great picks and reviews as usual mate!!
I am a big Sugess fan. Just picked up a Tourbillon from them finally. It uses the Aventurine dial and oddly enough that same case on the Agelocer 13:27, and it has the same sides with the little indent. It does come on an alligator strap though which does look nice.

I hadn't worn a watch for more than two decades, but last year my grandfather literally gave me his heirloom watch on his deathbed. I wanted to learn more and found your channel.
Since then I have bored my wife to tears with my new obsession, and bought 6 watches, 5 of which were at your recommendation.
Thank you from the bottom of my Scottish/German heart for showing me how to recognize quality and value, thank you for teaching me so much, and on my dear wife's behalf I must curse you for the endless hours and hundreds of dollars I have spent on my new hobby. The watches are glorious, the value superb, and your videos entertaining and informative.
As an aside, I have since bought my wife and father-in-law watches they absolutely love using what I have learned, and am now about to buy my brother in law his first true dress watch, as well as saving up to get grandad's watch serviced to ensure it operates in full glory. All of which would have cost far more and been less sucessful had you not guided my journey.

The Sugess is the one for me. However, it'll have to wait as I've fallen down the VH31 quartz movement 🐇 hole with Watchdives. Picked up three of their Ranger/Explorer 36mm range in the sale. Hoping they pop up on your channel in the coming months. For £50-£60 they're outstanding.

Agelocer seconds hand counterbalance is one quarter of the logo. As there is no logo on the dial, I don't mind it on the hand.

4:25 It's advised to avoid using a pen to press those buttons, as the ink residue can dry up and jam those buttons.
I was a little surprised to see Jody using a pen. He is unwell so he maybe he just grabbed the nearest item. A wooden toothpick or wooden skewer is what I use. Any other suggestions welcomed.

I like the high beat auto you got. Looks very good for the money for sure. I don't like the bracelet either. Just my opinion. The leather strap you put on it really looks like an expensive watch.

They should have taken another design cue from H Moser and skiped the branding on the dial. Would have made it look classier. Otherwise really nice looking movement
Maaaan I don't even like salmon dials OR moonphases (I've never understood what purpose that could possibly serve and it seems like it would just be a hassle to update for no benefit), but that thing is pretty. Not bad for an Ali watch.

Both excellent choices in today's review! That salmon pulls a little orange though, it seems. If only Sea-gull could build a little quality and longevity into their movements, that'd be awesome. That Agelocer too is beautiful. Totally agree about the "80H POWER" needing to be deleted. I really like that spirally counterbalance. It's 1/4 of their logo and it looks really good on that seconds hand.
Despite the ample praise, I expected to be more impressed by the Agelocer.

The original Sugess strap is not good but its better than the brown atrocity that you put it on Jody! That strap soooo doesn't fit the watch.
