The wonderfully textured dial, high polished stepped mid-case to a sapphire crystal, elegant handset, 50m WR, date and lunar complications, and an ST1908 movement with a display caseback showcase these elements. The cherry on top, this factory direct watch is within +/- 7sec/day. This is the second such ST1901/1908 movement I've received from the factory with superb accuracy.

I'm in a similar situation. I've gone from CEO type work to manual labor. Dress watches are the ones I restrain from getting most for that reason.
This watch has been doing its job for me for 2 years. I like the watch very much!
But yes, the crown is very slippery as you have also experienced.

Beautiful sir, i have exact same model. Now i have it for 2 years, the watch is wind every 2 days so basically 2 years a non-stop ticking and still accurate

I usually don’t like watches with white or light colored dials , and I definitely don’t like watches with Roman numerals. This one however is an exception!
A beautiful choice of strap, I think it really adds to the overall aspect of the watch.

I'm not one for the florentine aesthetics on a watch...but this one maintains practical over frilly.
1905 is when the Bible was recorded as having been given to my wife's great grandmother. I think it's safe to assume it's publishing was just prior to or just after 1900.
I am a fan of Sugess watches. I have just picked up their Tourbillon. I do have a Moonphase Master with the 28.8 movement and it does have the 29.5 day moonphase.
What do you think of the tourbillon?

Canon R with 24-105 lens. Three lights with diffusers and various accent lights. On the rare occasion I use accent lights, I find flashlights (NiteCore MT21C, Acebeam H16), because of their magnetic base and articulating head) of differing temps, LED colors (RovyVonn, Tunege), and intensity...prefer variable intensity like the Sofirn SC21Pro or Thrunite T1.
My primary light is the GVM with an 80W source with diffuser. I tend to use the egg-crate to keep dark what I want for darker background/foreground. I use a another portable 10w Aputure light with a diffuser to add another angle. I've got the wide dispersion of light covered with the GVM so I get a little more specific with Aputure setup. Funny thing, I use cardboard with white paper stapled to it for diffused sunlight. I love using sunlight (many time the shadows are interesting) and prefer to get outdoors on 'thin' cloudy days. Takes the bite out of the shadows.

El Bulova Sea King es un hermoso reloj y el Tissot Seastar es uno que he estado viendo durante algún tiempo. ¿Encuentra que el Heigh del Tissot fuera de la muñeca es cómodo? Con tal calificación de profundidad, me imagino que es un reloj muy grueso. Estoy fascinado por la construcción del Seastar con calificación de ultra inmersión ... a pesar de que nunca voy a profundizar más de lo habitual profundidades de natación/snorkel. El Orient Sun/Moon es un hermoso reloj y definitivamente veo las similitudes. Cuando enseñaba matemáticas/ciencias de quinto grado, tenía un estudiante cuya madre era de Argentina. También tuve un colega de la ley que era un ex piloto de vuelos comerciales internacionales y entusiasmó cómo Buenos Aires tuvo el mejor bistec que haya tenido. Si bien esas son mis exposiciones limitadas a Argentina (incluida la conversación con usted), tengo mucha curiosidad por la aventura fallida del Polo Sur de Sir Ernest Shakelton. It's a pseudo-moon phase based on a 31 day calendar.
Wow this watch looks a lot more expensive. Is it normal that these complications are possible at such an affordable price?
Chinese movements, yes. It's one of my favorite dress watches.

It's synched up with the 31 day at the 12...I don't believe it's a 28 day. I'd love to be wrong about that.
For some reason these types of watches remind me of that verse that says there is a season to everything... The endless march of time and how fleeting everything is. Must be the cream dial and the smooth flow of time. Could be the day night indicator. 😅I like it. Its really is very pretty and elegant! The accuracy is pretty good! Good call on the strap! It looks great!

It's got that vintage, 19th early 20th century feel...almost a 'cordial' timekeeping vibe. It seems like history is wrapped up into this piece. Thanks for the passages. I'm reassured that time is temporary and that God is full control of events within time. The watches I wear are a reminder of Christ's creation and return...the beginning and end of time. For example...
God speaking to Jeremiah: (Jeremiah 1:5)
5 "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you [Jeremiah] as a prophet to the nations."
God goes on to tell Jeremiah a prophesy (626 BC) ,

and yes it happened, Jerusalem was conquered by king Nebuchadnezzer and Babylon 605 BC:

God says it's going to happen, it's going to happen. Time keeps ticking affirming His commitments. If there's one thing the Bible is, it is historically accurate. Dozens of prophecies recorded in the Bible, written hundreds of years earlier (as verified by historical references and linguistic patterns of an earlier time), have came to pass and have been verified by external historical documents...as the Bablyonian conquest of Jerusalem has been.
Time keeps ticking...

@@Realidealgear Indeed my friend. God is omnipresent and knows the beginning from the end and everything in between. I think you are right. God is beyond time. It has no effect on Him yet its something He values. Everything in its appointed time as scripture says. Prophecy is fascinating. For the Christian it shows us that God keeps His word. That which has to come to pass and that which already perspired. The world is a chessboard my friend and the pieces are always moving until the game is set. God is good indeed!
