Minor mistakes here and there, but she did not fall. So proud of her!!! She did sooo good on beam as expected. Once Suni is back to 100%, the world better watch out! I look forward to her UB routine!! One day soon! Sunisa for Paris, let's go!!
oh, i didn't know about her health struggles. she did so well! i'm glad she has her olympic gold already, and i truly feel like although i know she wants a medal, considering her health it's a HUGE accomplishment to be not only competing but also placing! paris or not, i hope she's proud of herself! that dismount . . . holy crap. makes me feel like I'M about to slam my face into that beam! lol!
the new code of point’s definitely favors a gymnast like her as it should’ve always been! the fact that gymnast were getting such high scores on floor for difficulty but weren’t penalized for showing little to absolutely no artistry at all, this is definitely going to be the better for gymnastics.
No, the new code works against her even Suni is a great gymnast, especially on bars. Suni can't do 2 wolf turns anymore in this code. A 13 floor is not a high score even though floor is the lowest scoring event of the quad. Only USA and Brazil can score 14 on floor now.
Love to see Suni do well❤️ . I love how her floor routine was actually artistic and fluid. The other gymnasts should follow that, instead of being robotic and stiff
Bring on the hate...It seems to me, an outsider, that womens WAG is now becoming the realm of the difficulty bonuses OVER the artistry of execution. Perfect example: Simone Biles does some INCREDIBLE tumbling run, flies out of bounds, and the commentator says that it won't matter as the difficulty bonus far outweighs the deduction. SO are they saying the ability to land a perfect skill is DEAD and they don't care about how its executed as long as its difficult?
They say that about the triple double because it is an amazing move competing by only a few male gymnasts and Simone. If actually watch her routine she had very controlled landings for the rest of her passes. In the team finals she nailed every landing for floor. You need to actually watch properly
@@Bxyxox you actually need to read properly. I said Simone did an “INCREDIBLE tumbling run”. My comment is against the establishment prioritising difficulty over artistry. Just because someone can ‘attempt’ an amazing move but not land, shouldn’t give them an advantage over another gymnastics who executes a flawless, albeit, less difficult routine. Difficulty and execution need to go hand in hand. Again, next time, read properly.
Suni Lee absolute beautiful. Can’t wait to see it at 100%. She could defend or lose it all against Simone Biles at the Olympic Games. She determined to defend the gold medal, but only if she’s qualify the US team trial.
@alexbronynerfman She cannot compete (and win) with Simone Biles.... especially in all-round. She competed against s Simone multiple times leading up to the Olympics... and did not win. So, stop saying imaginary things 🤣
For American gymnasts, getting INTO THE OLYMPIC team is the hardest part, due to the breadth and depth of the hunger of elite seniors as well as the elite experience of veteran gymnasts in the US. Once they get in, their chances of winning both individual and/or team medals, of one kind or another.... are almost assured.
@@skystring1Overall no, she hasn’t, however on day 2 of Olympic trials, Suni was the highest score in AA even beating Biles. Overall Biles won ofc, but that right there could’ve been at a one day competition. Suni is competition, maybe not too much for Simone but definitely for everyone else.
I read that it’s so she can do a video petition later on. Once she competes she won’t be able to petition so she’s pacing herself and saving it, sounds smart 🧠
she didn’t qualify bars in the meet leading up to this, she fell on her new skill unfortunately but she can petition to do AA if she’s ready at championships!
Hard to say if she will have enough to make Olympic team but we haven’t seen her bars routine. Her bars and beam routine might be enough. If they score high.
Her time in NCAA has helped her performance. She had all the tech skills and the beauty but you can see her truly connecting with her audience even more now.
This is Sunisa after battling two kidney diseases with downgraded routines. In 2021 she was a different gymnast and the rightful OLYMPIC CHAMPION. please don’t cry
This is not the opponent who defeated Rebeca. This woman is battling two kidney diseases that took her out of training and competition. Stop being such a hater
@@Bxyxox Impressive, I could talk about Rebeca's knee problems but I would only be victimizing the Queen of Gymnastics! I'm just going to highlight the fact that Suni is a privileged North American for that reason alone! Everyone knows that the judges look down on athletes outside the American egemony and even more so if they are Latin American! However, they will no longer be able to do this because they were questioned due to their low grades in light of Rebeca's enormous performance in the Olympics and subsequent championships by coaches and commentators who, oddly enough, are North Americans... The Americana party is over! We will see at the Olympics who will be the Big Winner in the Individual Overall!!! why should I cry LOL!!! Accept that it hurts less!

I cannot believe how incredible she is working at a fraction of what she is capable of. Her beam routine was superb
Suni is coming. I love how she progresses and peaks when needed. 💙
Suni is wonderful to watch as she is graceful. Hope to see her do more in future
She is rounding back into form. Can't wait to see where she is this summer!

Does it really favour her tho? She scored a 13. The basis of your floor score is based around your difficulty level, always has and always will be.
