The first race between the Bansee & Quadzilla was fun! Stay tuned as we prepare for a rematch in the spring. Jack 7 I will be ready! #alwayskeepitreal #atv #quadzilla #banshee www.themapledude.com
I used to work at Alba in So Cal in the mid 90’s. We were the #1 Banshee Dealer in the world and all our Banshees got your choice of custom Pipe Kit (FMF, Duncan, Toomys or Bills Pipes), jetting kit, seat cover and graphics. Banshees hold a special place in my heart as almost all of your collection does brother!
It looks like you have a clean utility ATV too. Maybe you can get your brother to let you make a video on that 1987 5.0 since it fits right in with these vintage ATVs. Not sure if it helps any, but I got a K&N on my ATC250SX.
Quadzilla was always the fastest of the 2 you did it right. Ignore the keyboard warriors and mostly have fun. I envy that you guys even get to do this. Thanks for doing it
Now you're going to have to pipe the Zilla, they really wake up with a pipe combo, advance the power valve spring half a turn, and a larger carb properly jetted of course!
@@TheMapleDude1 the tors on blasters over time sometimes cause the carb to crack and then you gotta buy a whole new carb. They work great for idle adjustments but once they act up its not worth the hassle
U have the greatest collection of 4wheelers ever. All in mint condition. Who knew it would take almost 30yrs for a atv makers to beat the Quadzilla... Truly epic machines.
Agreed, except what stock ATV beats Quadzilla? TMD got his stock Zilla to 82 mph and I don't believe any others exceed that. The closest is probably the Renegade 1000, then the TRX700XX.
I just started a banchee series. It's going to be a banchee built only for trails. Not a drag bike. Part two will be this weekend. Monday I send the bike out for sandblasting
trust me, i'm in se ky just above the Tn line and its too cold down here to do much, so I know ya'll up there are frozen. Best part about those great white north winters is the beer stays so ice cold and slushy in the back of the truck. lol
Love the channel boys. Just a tip you should chain all those bikes together or get some security. People will get bad ideas seeing these bikes kept in that pole barn!
Im located in birnamwood wi. Would be cool to bring my 13 year old son and our vintage machines out by you guys to ride around shoot the shit. I have some of them on my channel check em out. Either way looking forward to see the rematch. I have vforce 4 reeds on both my banshees. Stock air boxes one im running bills and other one has slps for exhaust. One is stock other is a 4mm😁
You should buy a cheap skidoo rev 800. Brraaapp!!!

Haven’t watched yet, but the Quadzilla should still easily beat the Banshee, even after these mods. Edit- I guess I’ll be waiting till spring, good video anyway as an update.
We will see. But right now it's just not the time.

@@TheMapleDude1 As long as the traction is there, you’re fine to run them to full performance in the cold. Just two things however, they have to be warmed up well and as long as the jetting is correct for colder temps, they are just as fast in the winter as they are in the summer. Hell, you’re in Wisconsin, look at all the snowmobiles as an example before four strokes were forced into the mix. They loved the cold.
I know that. But it just isn't fun to film a decent race video in the cold. Gloves on hand are a pain to take on and off repeatedly using cameras. If the sun would come out... now just riding around in the snow is different cause you're not worried about starts and things like that.

@@TheMapleDude1I know what you’re talking about and couldn’t agree more. ps I knew you knew about warming the bikes up and all that for winter racing etc, but if I leave even basic things out, someone will be jumping on me with a correction. I also mention this stuff for others to learn, especially the younger peeps who likely didn’t grow up with ATV’s/ATC’s let alone two strokes. 👍🏼👍🏼
Love the videos. I grew up not to far from the TMD world headquarters in Lindsey. I too had several of the machines you have in your awesome collection.. i wish I still had them. I just got done building a BVC trick conversion with my CRF450x and made it look like the 1986 350x I had.. I will stop in at TMD headquarters with it this summer if you want to take a look at it.

That's cool Steve. Those were special times.
Classic ^
Love the videos! Love the matchups!!!
Thanks Keith.

I still need to find a SX.
You are raising them right. They will pull pack and give you shit. Don’t let it overwhelm you. We were those kids once.
Yeah man we were.

Guys like you make this fun to do!
You have a lot of cool ride's! I would love to get a 250r.there is not many in my area if I do find one they are out of my price range.
Yes they are tough to come by with a reasonable price.
I'm a Banshee owner and I know what the Quadzilla is capable of.
Truth

It's tempting... I hate the stock exhaust. But it's also rare to have an untouched machine.
Tors delete is a must for yamaha fans
Got it done!

We found a guy in northern wi who has a 1000 renegade. We night get to race him in the spring.
Thanks brother!
Wonder how the Polaris sport/scramble 400 2-stroke would do against some of you machines?
I'd like to know.

Smart man.
Banshee curse....gotta mod it. Heck yeah
I guess.
Quadsilla gonna disrespect that banshee again
Probably

Yeah definitely Clark Co/ Jackson Co have good trails. Ill.look for your channel .
@@TheMapleDude1 I've only posted of my machines and a few riding videos. I'll have to look into those trails. Have you been out to Harrison hills?
@@ATC_RIDER_91 no not yet.
You have any sleds? Or do you not get much snow?
We don't. But yes Wisconsin is big for snowmobiling.
