Say what you will about his basketball skill, he refused to help his "best friend" who was being brutally ripped off on a terribly low contract while his family was living in poverty, his father and brother were completely debilitated due to health issues, and he had 10 siblings and a mother to feed. All Jordan had to do was make one phone call to management and they would've given Scottie a fair contract. But nope, that's money that can go to other players and contracts. Filling up the trophy case is way more important than taking care of your best friend when he's in a tough spot. Makes me sick just thinking about it.

The only time Scottie ever truly did something in the Finals when MJ "couldn't get it done" was being on the floor in Game 6 in '92 when the Bulls were down 15 in the 4th quarter and leading the team back (and even that was more a total team effort with unsung guys like Stacey King and Bobby Hansen stepping up) and even in that game Jordan came back in and made the clutch shots in the final minutes once the game got tied back up. Other than that Michael always was the guy who either did it all himself, or gave others the path to achieve greatness. Horace Grant had a layup in 1993 and passed it backward to John Paxson because he was afraid of blowing it (though he made a great block on Kevin Johnson the next possession)

We've seen other Hall of Fame quarterbacks do the same--Montana, Marino, Elway, Aikman.

But Scottie is delusional…I remember in his early years with the Bulls, every time he got the ball on offence, we (my family would watch them together) would all get nervous - cringing because we were waiting for him to mess up his dribble or his shot. We appreciated his defence, but on offence he was often a liability. He was clumsy. Of course that started to change as we moved through the 90’s, but seriously - this is deplorable…rather than appreciating that they had an opportunity to play with the greatest basketball player the world has ever seen, who never chastised them on the court in front of millions for their shortcomings, they’re out here trying to convince us that we didn’t see what we saw during those title runs?? As a guy who grew up living in Chicago, going to games, and was emotionally invested in that team, it's so disgusting to see any of Jordan's teammates saying anything negative about him. I never cared for Pippen, saw Grant as a decent player but not a good one (he had a stacked Magic team and did nothing with it...), and Longley only as a role player that was outplayed by Bill Cartwright. This is a sad money grab by men who can't be happy being champion players lead by the GOAT....

I don’t remember the Jason Caffrey or Dickie Simpkins chapters either. Scottie pippen was a great player, made better by being the sidekick. It’s a shame he’s fallen so far. When people compare lefraud to Jordan it drives me crazy because I always have thought he is closer to pippen just more offense less defense. MJ pushed them all to be the best players they could be, and they flourished with him. Horace was a solid role player who served his purpose and then they moved on, so he’s salty he was replaced. Longley another solid role player, they had their 3 centers to take up space. They served their purpose and became champions, I don’t see the problem. He was hard on them? He expected them to be at their best to play with him, so what? It’s just embarrassing, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find out it’s funded by some klutch sports shell company

And the guy was a tyrant in practice and on the court which literally is the only reason anyone even remotely cares about anybody on that team or the bulls Scottie literally had a season to himself to prove himself and they literally sucked. I dont from anything ive ever seen or heard about the man think in anyway shape or form he has the temperament to be of any sort of relevance without someone there pushing him he just so happened to get the best there ever was on the team with him.

Horace Grant had 24Assists-to-5Turnovers (1-to-1 is good for bigmen) while playing 38 minutes in '92 Finals, '95 Magic beat Bulls with Horace Grant clearly being an impact player, the '96 Magic lost to the Bulls with Grant missing all but part of game 1, and at age 35 managed to play 26 minutes per playoff game for '01 champion Lakers... id argue Grant is one of the most underrated players of his era, along with Pippen, and ironically MJ (Point Guard & Passing & Three Point Shooting); the 1st 3-peat Bulls were awesome and get overshadowed by the circus of the 2nd 3-peat... fax!!!

If Scottie Pippen was such a great teammate and guy, why is it that Toni Kukoc when he went to the Hall of Fame selected Michael Jordan to induct him? When an Australian news site did a TH-cam documentary, Michael Jordan did a 30 minute sit down interview praising Luc Longley and how important he was. I don't think Luc wanted to be a part of this tour. He probably needs money and got forced into doing it.
Point is if Michael Jordan was such a horrible human being, why is he being asked to induct people to the Hall of Fame and why is he giving sit down interviews for role player's importance?
