I don’t agree with Jordan being the goat if we’re using the ring argument i got bill for that and i always find it funny that how Jordan fans try to diminish his accomplishments by saying there were less teams and shorter people when Jordan didn’t even play against comp in the finals himself 🤔 he’s a guard he’s gonna shoot the ball more but to completely diminished bill’s accomplishment when he was at the start of basketball even beginning is beyond stupid and then y’all try to make it seem like Jordan had the craziest vertical with the best shooting stroke ever when he’s not even the greatest shooter or the best dunker It’s weird asf

I don't have a problem with the goat argument. I think when you're using the word "argument" you've already come to the table close minded. LeBron is a phenomenal athlete, but Jordan is the GOAT not just because of rings. Here is why- I'll keep it short:
Only human to win a title and be the best offensive player in the league more than once. He did it six times. Only 5 other people ever have, but:
      - 6x Champion, 6x Finals MVP AND scoring Title in the same year. Six times!?
-Shooting guard with a Defensive Player of the Year.
      - 9 times all defensive player (as a shooting guard)
-Regularly slamdunks on 7 plus footers
Lead the league in steals 3 times as a guard.
      - Averaged more points and assists than LeBron when they asked him to run point guard (position less basketball wasn't allowed by coaches back then)
      - Better true shooter than LeBron. (Check out basketball reference. LeBron is only a 34+% shooter farther than 3 feet from the basket. He got 50% fg percentage off dunks putbacks and layups, his most common shot. In fact, look at his Pistons vs Cavs game, the announcer even mentions LeBron is a below average shooter. This is said multiple times in his career mid-game.) Jordan shot the jumper at near 50%.
      - Jordan had six titles and two three peats at 34.
      - Finals APPEARANCES without WINS don't say you were the best in the WORLD, they unfortunately only say you were the best in the conference. I have long suspected that LeBron can't so easily beat the west.
      - Jordan was never a no-show in the finals and even averaged 40 for a series. LeBron has choked far too many times to be the standard that we measure all other players by to call him the goat.
But. Man... LeBron is a baaaad mothatrucka, man. I hate that to say Jordan is the goat, to some people, is equal to saying you hate LeBron. I don't. His blemishes just are too many to say he's relatively flawless. Jordan had a relatively flawless, almost story book career with impossible accolades to go with it.

    • @iAM2AM
      @iAM2AM 3 ปีที่แล้ว +18

Also; I try not to blame athletes for things that aren't their fault. Example: Last season? That wasn't Lebron's fault. I'll never fault him for that.
JR Smith running the wrong way. Not his fault. Bunch of other moments. But to say Jordan faced no competition is ..well for one kinda not true. Because nobody shot the 3 and rules were different, net efficiency rating looks bad in the 90s, but also note, widely accepted fact: it was harder to score in the 90s too. Low point totals, low net efficiency. Rules matter. But, competition and rules are not Jordan's fault either.

@@iAM2AM but here’s thing that’s what Jordan fan would say it’s Lebron he’s the best player right he’s the goat right when situations are out of his hands they blame him for it and say that’s why he’s not goat or he’s not faster or a better athlete or he’s not as creative and when i sit back and watch all the film of Jordan everything down to his foot work which I’m impressed with but then I’ve seen Kobe score 81 abusing people i go to athleticism and I’m
Like there’s a lot of guys who’s stronger faster but had more weight on them but moving faster than Jordan was like Jordan cool but just because he won 6 chips took a break doesn’t mean he’s the greatest athlete or player there ever was I’ll say he’s the greatest shooting guard ever and there’s only Kobe that’s close and that’s pretty much it. But dismiss other greats who better accomplishments is beyond stupid.

@@javonarcher5376 I don't disagree with that. I think when it comes to "greatest", we all have to realize and accept that that title is something given to the people's champion. Nobody just says they're the greatest. People tell you. Right now the people's champ is Jordan for a number of very good, very valid reasons. Most notably: Saving basketball. Larry and Magic started it but Jordan made basketball must watch TV around the world. He made the Olympics matter and all of that. I'd say just don't fight the funk, cus in 10, 20 years, they'll be saying LeBron, and you'll be hot and angry at some 19 year old who didn't see LeBron during his era who will say: he just bullies his way to the rim and gives the ball to others! - But that's how it goes. Eras change. What used to be popular was scoring, now it's team play and assists, one day it'll be wing defense or something. I just let the people decide their champion.

Michael retired 3 times, otherwise he'd own all stats. LeBron has already played more seasons than Michael but still hasn't caught up to Michael in championships, mvp's, dpoy awards, scoring titles, steals titles, 3peats. You're lying when you say you've seen other players do better. Go worship your queen and his skirted teammates. He's just a big stiff with one move. He flails his arms and collapses upon eye contact. If leflop played in the tough 90's he'd retire without a title, Rodman alone would abuse him. He abandoned his home town and had to join Wade, Bosch and Allen in order to win cause he's never been able to win on his own. Kyrie bailed him out in Cleveland and now he recruited a team full of skirted divas in a desperate attempt to win but they're 0-4 in the preseason.

It's not about the chips. Jordan dominates LeBron on per game statistics, analytics, accomplishments, overall basketball skills, and on a defensive end. The chips just came with it. He did it with only ever having 1 single all-star teammate for his entire career. Never needed to create Superteams to win a chip.
It's also a weird thing about LeBron fans that they'll start picking and choosing different players to compare to Jordan. It's about being the singular best player *overall* . When arguing who is the best player, you should only be arguing 1 player vs 1 player. You cannot be like "Oh well Harden can play offense better than Jordan! And Kawhi can play defense better than Jordan! Therefore Jordan isn't the best!" Like no you donut, you're using 2 different ppl. How's Hardens defense compared to Jordan? How's Kawhi offense compared to Jordan? Who's the best OVERALL player?
Analytics shows Jordan is the best player. And his accomplishments back that up.
Also why are you bringing up single game accomplishments? Instead of the AVERAGE? Like, you understand that doesn't make you a better scorer right..? Jordan will score 50, blow out the opponent and take the bench for the rest of the game. He never paid attention to the stats or records. He just cares about the W. He averaged 30+ for his career and 31+ in the playoffs for a career.
Then you talk about total points as if that has any relevance. You understand that's more to do with longevity right..? Jordan only played 13 full seasons..
No offense, but you sound extremely clueless about basketball.

Agreed! Harden isn’t a better offensive player than Jordan. Jordan’s career ppg is 30.1 and that’s after his sub-MJ seasons on the Wizards (he was at 31.5 ppg after retirement from the Bulls.) Jordan was a cheat code on offense and defense. While Kawhi has a +1 pt higher defensive rating than Jordan, Jordan beats him in both defensive statistics: spg and bpg. Of course, his rating is effected by his play at 38-40.
Jordan’s 1991 NBA Finals stats should be all young people need to know about the GOAT:
31.2 ppg, 11.4 apg (bet those young mfers did know he was like *that*), 6.6 rpg, 55.8 FG%, 50 3P%, 2.8 spg, 1.4 bpg. 1991 Jordan is unrivaled.
      Of course, 1993 Finals Jordan does come close. 41 ppg (🤯), 8.5 rpg, 6.3 apg, 50.8 FG%, 40 3P%

I am 62 years old, I have always played basketball, I have lived in Panama my entire life. And in the 80's one of our television stations began to broadcast NBA games, I was a fan of Magic Johnson, but when I saw MJ in the Chicago Bulls, I went crazy and a fan of him. As you say, it was something different and unique. MJ revolutionized basketball to unsuspected levels worldwide. A player of that level had never been seen. Some NBA legends have commented that they stopped winning NBA titles because there was a factor that did not let them and that differential factor was MJ. There has not been anyone at the collective sports level more domineering and overwhelming than MJ. Lebron is the player King but MJ is God in the history of Basketball. Greetings from Panama

Oh that "push off" highlight. IMO, not just the shot but the entire sequence leading up to that shot is the greatest sequence in NBA history. The Bulls were down 3 with like 35 seconds left. They needed a quick score so the out of bounds play went to MJ and he scored within 4 seconds. Then they were back on defense down one and needed a stop. The Jazz ran a post play for Malone with Hornacek cutting around the baseline to the weak side to give Karl more space in the post. MJ follows Hornacek, shadows behind Malone, and steals the ball on the entry pass. Brings the ball down and the rest is history. In a span of 35 seconds in a game for the NBA championship, he made a clutch basket, a clutch steal, and the shot to win it. Legendary.

@@javonarcher5376 you have to understand Jordan possesses the athleticism to do any NBA feat. As far as strength goes, Jordan grab blocked the ball from Shaq with one hand. The thing about MJ is, Quoting Alinzo Mourning, he's the one player with no weaknesses. He only gambled on defense half as much as Kobe, took smarter shots than Kobe, due to college discipline, LeBron is a giver because of his elementary coach, so he didnt need college, unless you mean for accolades. Kobe is the mamba, a snake which attacks without provocation, because he's always felt like an outsider. Jordan is Jordan because during the riotous activity of the 80's, drinking in the locker room and doing cocaine, he stayed into basketball alone like Kobe. Kobe is new school, so hes socially awkward. Kobe is the Westcoast Jordan, Vince is Jordan, replacing the desire to destroy with the desire to show off, Iverson is a mini-Jordan minus the desire to sacrifice his free-time. Grant Hill was a even more physical Jordan but more focused on team success, than individual, like a quicker, skinnier Lebron, T-Mac was like a LeBron if LeBron decided to be more offensive minded, and scored from the midrange. LeBron is a pure basketball player...a more athletic Magic Johnson, but Magic was more gifted with vision, LeBron is as skilled with passing angles. Magic could have scored like LeBron. Bird was more offensive minded than LeBron, less fearful than LeBron, and more patient than LeBron. LeBron played like Bird in the playoffs against the Pacers in 2018, what I call his best series ever - LeBron has the athleticism of a Dominique Wilkins, and the game of Magic. Kobe and LeBron in a series woulda been awesome but LeBron fell to Dwight's shooter crew. If LeBron stayed in Cleveland, he goes down as a folk hero, like A.I., even if he only won 1 championship....but see, you gotta be tougher in decisionmaking and in public to wear that 23....you cant be soft at all.....an that's why he is shunned. People dont dream of stopping LeBron. I'm nicer than LeBron, an would not fight on the court, but I guarantee they'd fear me......the only folk who feared LeBron was Toronto.....imagine every NBA team being in fear of embarrassment.....that's what Jordan had.....therefore he became a superhero to not only kids, but grown men....tough men. LeBron is respected by tough men, but not feared by them. You dont think LeBron will embarrass you -he might embarrass yall one time with a far 3, a between the legs pass or a dunk unexpectedly, Jordan will embarrass folks 4+ times a game, if not more....one might be the game winner.... but since Jordan came before LeBron an Jordan was cutthroat in his playing style, playing amongst cutthroats, even the generation of players who came during and after his time were cutthroat....they link cutthroat to the number 23....not just greatness....he shoulda took Grant Hills number or DR J's.......Grant Hill was as nice as LeBron yet even he was more cuttroat.....LeBron is a bigger Penny Hardaway, and gives us a glimpse of what his and Grant's career would have looked like. That being said, LeBron sonned the Celtics in 2018, and I appreciated the calm strength he showed - even minus Kyrie. APEX LeBron is against the Warriors in 2015 when he got exhausted and lost....the Cavs should have 3 finals Rings , and Lebron should have 5 rings, but KD came. 6 if he turned up on Dallas an didnt shrink under the pressure to be evil, 4 if Ray Allen misses that shot. None if Grant an Penney stayed healthy. The east woulda been tough. That being said, if Magic stayed healthy an Jordan played Hakeem in 94 an 95, Jordan would have 5 but they wouldnt be consecutive because basketball is still a big mans game. The sixth ring woulda been hard to come by for Lebron, because on the Cavs or Lakers, Lebron woulda worn down in 2019, from teams giving the Cavs or Lakers they best shots in the regular season. But because the players lack so many fundamentals nowadays, there are no 7 footers hardly and the 3 is encouraged which opens the paint even more, LeBron is able to dominate. LeBron turns into Karl Malone in the 90's, slightly lighter, slightly shorter, with better passing....ala Shawn Kemp. Lebron by year 5 needed a running mate like Pippen, but who ? KG ? Ray Allen ? Some player who went to Jail ? Some player who died young ? Probably ? But if Vince an T-Mac had stayed together - if iverson had come to LeBron in 2008....if KG had gone to Iverson.....or Joel Embiid had gone to the Cavs.......well he had Kyrie. LeBron and Durant or Kobe together could beat Jordan and Pippen 2 on 2....but 5 on 5, Jordan will exploit your team all game like LeBron did to the Raptors......and LeBron or KD will become frustrated because of their team being embarrassed and their game would disintegrate. Because if Jordan being smaller and slicker, he'll draw more fouls than them both, with any rules. Jordan + anyone equals championship. Kyrie proved that's not true in 2017.

The hardest thing for a LeBron fan to watch. I've seen it so many times. The extreme confidence in your man (For good reason. LeBron is an incredible player), then they watch this and the voyager rare tapes, and you can look up Jordan's assists package, and in just about every case, you can literally see the confidence draining from their faces. Those who call Jordan the GOAT, me included, are not just talking about eras. We've seen him play as much as Kobe and LeBron. Jordan was just different. But what wins the final argument is his extreme competitive nature on both DEFENSE and offensive. He was an all-round player, and not just a highlights reel. They have so many highlights simply because his artistry is so pretty to watch, but in a game he was all over the place, like a black panther. Scarily good.

When Chicago faced Detroit during that Bad Boys 3-year run ('88-'90) it took the entire Pistons team plus the bench to beat the Bulls because they had to eat up so many fouls. Coach Daly devised a flex defense to tamp MJ down but he still got his 40-50 that night AND whoever he was guarding was on lockdown, plus his help defense was so sudden and intense it prevented anything soft in the paint from other shooters. Lebron is definitely not the goat. He has too many taints in his career, from choking in 2009 and 2011 finals, to jumping from superteam to superteam, lagging on defense continuously throughout career, having to learn how to win first chip from D-Wade etc etc etc... Lebrons ship sailed long ago 🎯...
By the way, all of Jordan's dunks were when there was no defensive 3 seconds so big tall defensive centres would clog up the lane, yet mj could still break down their individual and team defenses and impose his will. Its not even close.

    • @katrinachavez3533
      @katrinachavez3533 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

Not even close?! I've been saying that for years. And I was fortunate to have seen both prime Mike and Bron in person, a few times. Jordan had the faster twitching muscles, superior bounce and hang-time, better mid-air body control, could jump off one or two feet, was quicker, had better reflexes, footwork and handles. And we all know Jordan had the mental of a killer in serial. We all know mentally Bron is Vagisil cream. He'd rather pass than beast his defender. I remember when a teammate of his (Chalmers) called him a bitch during a time-out of a game cause King Flop was playing too passively. Can you imagine a Jordan teammate ever calling him that cause Mike wasn't ballin' tenaciously enough? And not trying to be mean but this guy doing this reaction looks as bright as JR Smith in crunch-time. I'm sure he had no idea there was only 10 teams back then and that Russell played with 5 hall-of-famers, which four of them have a higher NBA Finals ppg than Russell. So he had plenty of help. And you can't be in GOAT conversation when you only averaged 15 ppg for your career while shooting only .440 from the field. For a center that's abysmal.

Imagine you're a Bulls fan in 1987 and despite you're best player breaking the scoring record and averaged 39.5 ppg in 2 series against a dynasty celtics team with 4 future HOFs, how would u feel if your team's mgmt. can only provide TWO ROOKIES as "help" for jordan to go deep in the playoffs and win a championship? A 5th pick, non division 1 player (pippen) and a 10th pick power forward (h.grant). Then eventually hired a ROOKIE nba coach (phil jackson)? Would u feel emboldened and think your team is gonna beat the celtics, the bad boys and the lakers?
Imagine Dan Gilbert telling this to lebron in 2010: "Hey lebron i have good news for you, we got the 5th pick and the 10 pick this coming draft! So... you're not thinking about leaving us am i right?!!!" 😂😂😂😂😂
I bet lebron's reaction is to call Dwade on the spot and tell him it's an emergency! 😁😁😁
Btw, let's look at lebron's team mates in his career (so far):
Dwade - 5th pick, 13x all star, considered by many as 3rd greatest SG of all time
Chris Bosh - 4th pick, 11x all star
Ray Allen - 5th pick, 10x all star, one of the best 3pt shooters of all time
Kyrie Irving - 1st pick, 6x all star
Kevin Love - 5th pick, 5x all star
Anthony Davis - 1st pick, 7x all star
Russell Westbrook - 4th pick, 9x all star (former mvp)
And lets also not forget about his notable support players who were former all stars/superstars/champions/ like rondo, shaq, dwight, deron williams, derrick rose, IT, Ilgauskus, Kyle Korver , Mo williams, Rashard Lewis, brandon ingram, Carmelo Anthony, Deandre Jordan, Trez Herrell (former SMOY), Marc Gasol, Andre Drummond (2x allstar, 4x reb. king). He also got notable established role players like larry hughes, wally szczerbiak, antawn jamison, shane battier, juwan howard, mike miller, Udonis haslem, james jones, Birdman, Jae crowder, Rich jefferson, Jose calderon, jr smith, george hill, jordan clarkson, tyson chandler, danny green, lonzo ball etc.
Then consider the fact that he switched teams 3x, where each teams overhauled their roster for him. 71 players were traded under his watch (45 total trades). And we all know that Lebron is the main recruiter for Klutch Sports and not rich paul (who were just selling jerseys when he first met lebron). And that made it easier for lebron to get AD (who's also a client of Klutch Sports).

In all honesty, they way you feel about Jordan fans are the same way Jordan fans feel about Lebron fans.. the difference is, including you..Lebron fans are arguing that he is the goat while knowing virtually nothing on any other player who isn't currently playing or maybe retired after 2010. Have actually seen nothing but 5 mins of the most common highlights from likely Jordan. Majority have not seen one highlight of Magic, Bird or any other..know nothing of what they did for the game. How do you debate who is better A or B when you haven't seen virtually any highlight, video, seen or studied stats and certainly haven't watched any actual game footage?
Yet, what you make a good point about is Jordans hand size and what that allowed him to do, the control on the ball. He could palm the ball of the dribble, rebound, or catching. That is different, I think there are very few in the league over 6'5 who can't palm the ball but to not need a second hand to secure it and to be able to palm at any time in game speed is very very rare.

If u think about it, only jordan among the players in the GOAT conversation is not a freak of nature. Wilt was the biggest and strongest player in nba history.. Kareem was one of the tallest in his era at 7'2. Lebron is the biggest and probably the most athletic wing player (height+mass) in nba history at 6'9, 260 lbs. Bill Russell was an athletic 6'10 player. Magic and Bird were 6'9. They all benefited from their size in a sports league where the average height is 6'5/6'6.
Jordan was just an average sized basketball player at 6'6, 195-215 lbs. and dominated the league for a decade.

What you need to understand is being the GOAT is a combination of stats, chips and accolades. Maybe you’ve seen some of this stuff already…where you think these guys got it from? Jordan has the highest per game scoring average. Longevity numbers just mean you played a long time. Russell had 11 rings but there was only 8 teams in the league. Lebron has all around stats. But he’s quit a bunch of times. Jordan has the combination of stats, chips and accolades. Not to mention that he NEVER gave up even when the odds were stacked against him. And he did it at both ends of the court his whole career.

    • @katrinachavez3533

The truth! If it was all about chips it would be Russell, even though he played with FIVE hall-of-famers, four of them averaged more ppg in Finals than Bill - so he was carried offensively. If it was all about stats it would be Wilt. If it was all about unguardable move it would be Kareem. If it was all about longevity it would be King Flop. If it was all about maniacal mental it would be Bird. But if it was everything combined it's Black Jesus - he who didn't walk on water cause he preferred the air.

…..”Show me something, show me something….. I seen that before!!”
When did you see it, young buck? Where do you think the players of today got those ideas? - from those who came BEFORE them.
The question YOU need to be asking is who did it before MJ? Not the new guys you keep praising that’s for damn sure. MJ changed the entire league. MJ changes the way basketball was played. MJ brought the NBA to the world stage. MJ made Nike a household name.
What had LJ done that can remotely compare to that?
And you want to talk stats? How many defensive player of the year has LJ won? How many times has LJ been 1st team all defense? (You do know there’s offense and DEFENSE in the NBA right?) How many times did LJ play 80+ games during the regular season? What is LJ’s win percentage in the NBA playoffs? What’s his scoring average in the playoffs? What’s his scoring avg in the finals? - ALL are lower than MJ’s. How many times has MJ walked off of a basketball court before the game was over because he was frustrated or having a pity party for himself? - zero!! LJ has done it twice! That automatically excludes LJ from any GOAT conversation as far as I’m concerned - if you’re the greatest you don’t EVER quit.
Is LJ an amazing talent and player? Absolutely!! Is he better than MJ on any objective level? Not even close.
Learn some history, study some stats. The answer is obvious

Lebron is a great athlete but when the game gets tough. Lebron looks to his teammates, Mike takes over. MIke is accountable as the star of the team and takes outcome upon himself. What Jordan and even Kobe have over Lebron is the intangibles. What you can't count in the stats. It's not just the highlights with Michael is how he carries himself in tough situations. It's not what he does but when he does it. Lebron is the better athlete but MIke is the better player.

I see the huge flaw in your way of thinking:
First, you don't even know what "greatest scorer" means. Look at all the scorers above MJ on the all-time scoring list, then look at how many years they played, then look at their career scoring average; you might learn something.
You say you've seen freakier stuff, but you haven't seen one player do half the stuff jordan does on the daily, night in night out, putting in the same effort on ofense AND on defense.
Then you say "if LeBron played with Magic ...", which translates to the fact that he can't beat jordan on his own. Remember, early on Jordan only lost to stacked teams that boasted multiple allstars/hall of famers. That's what it took to beat him by himself, and he still gave those teams the business.
Also remember that Pippen didn't come into the league as a star, Jordan MADE him a star, and he was an allstar only 4 of the 6 years tehy won the chip.
Jordan is not even my favorite player, but i still recognize his game had no flaws, and his skill level combined with his consistency are way superior than what you might find in any player today.
I couldn't get to watch 8 minutes because your lack of objectivity keeps on getting in the way of any sign of knowledge you might spit.

Speaking of knowledge - I'm being sincere when I say you dropped some like that minister in Belly. Jordan isn't my favorite player either. Not even in my top 5 - Magic, Shaq, Iverson, Hakeem, Duncan - in that order. But my 20/20 vision has never deceived me. And I was fortunate to have seen both Bron and Jordan, while in their primes in person and it's not even close. That 86 Boston squad had five hall-of-famers, was one of the best defensive teams all-time and had one of the best perimeter defenders all-time (Dennis Johnson) and MJ cooked them cadavers like Thanksgiving at Jeffrey Dahmers. You're 100% about MJ being flawless. The guy had every physical tool a human being could be blessed with but he also had the fundaments - taught to him by a well respected University dean. And you're on point on Pippen. Scottie wasn't even recruited out of high-school. Walked on to some little school in Arkansas as an equipment mgr./player. The only reason he even got any playing time as a freshman was due to some teammate quitting the team. And we all know who beat him out at small-forward spot his rookie season - the stout Brad Sellers. A season in which Pip only averaged 7 ppg and a season when Jordan won MVP and DPOY. MJ helped mold Pippen into an All-Star caliber baller. I also want to genuinely commend you for being able to endure 8 minutes of ignorance. You beat me by 5 minutes.

I've been an NBA fan since the mid 1970's and coached youth basketball for years. My personal top 5 are: 1. Michael Jordan, 2. Larry Bird, 3. Magic Johnson, 4. Kobe Brant, 5. Julius Irving. I’ve seen everyone over the last 45+ years. IMO, these players had the best BALANCE of FG%, FT%, clutch play, great offense, great defense, makes teammates better, great team play, shares the ball, passing ability, finishing, coachable, high basketball IQ, finds a way to win, has all areas of the basic fundamentals down pat, seeks high % shots first, knows where teammates are on the court at all times, able to score while being fouled, played against tougher competition, played against great defenses. No one today has ALL of these attributes. Not even Lebron, and that he flops and has choked in some key games brings down his value. He's his worse enemy. To me, only Michael Jordan and Larry Bird have ALL of these attributes and are (by far) the most clutch players of all time. Though today's players have a lot of talent, but most players lack most of these attributes and no one has all of them. Defense and team play aren’t nearly as good today as in the 80’s/90’s. Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson (by far) are the most clutch players of all time and did it against the best defenses of all time. Lebron couldn’t even get the Lakers to the playoffs this past season, one of the league’s weakest season in the NBA since 1979, lol. As for his layups, it's because of his massive hands and air time. He has fast reflexes too, so in the air he's able to adjust. There're a ton of ppl with massive hands in NBA history (centers, kawhi, giannis) but, 30 years later, NONE of them are able to adjust mid air/mid move like MJ. NOBODY.

Correct, Jordan is still the most unique player in this sense. He's able to giannis like dunks due to his hand size whilst also doing kyrie like lay ups but due to the hand size he's actually doing lay ups no one can do because guys with hands that big don't have the agility to do so. The fact many people can do a free throw line dunk but no one can ball fake in mid air whilst doing the free throw line dunk is all you need to know about how freaky jordan was

That's because this was being done by him 30 yrs ago. Long before Kyrie, or Lebron or any other player who comes close in ability and skill today. MJ = GOAT.

One last comment, and this is not exclusive to you: it is so tired to talk about that ““ push off. Russell was a grown man running that direction in Jordan used his fingertips. So either he is Thanos and can throw a grown man 3 feet with his fingertips, or he faked the dude out of his sneakers while his fingertips where on his hips. It’s really just basic physics.

Lol, the problem with guarding Jordan was not just his speed but his lay-ups were a problem. He would constantly delay his release which is just impossible to compensate for. You jump to block and if it was anyone else, it would have been blocked, the defense isn't doing anything wrong, he just waits until they are coming down to release the ball. It is the craziest thing to watch.

Vince is top in game dunker.Jordan is goat tho. He was:
    10x scoring champ
    12x 1st team all defense(1x dpoy)
...That's best offensive and best defensive player in the LEAGUE. No one is close to that. For reference, Durant is 4x scoring champ, Harden 3x scoring champ, Lebron 1x scoring champ.

Also, you have to remember that all the players you watch today tried to base their game off of what Jordan was doing. Jordan set the standard to try and be like. Kyrie, Kobe, even LeBron studied and wanted to be like Mike. Jordan created what you see today.

Bro watched this video with so much bias, Jordan could have literally jumped 40 ft and u still wouldn't acknowledge, further more if this era was even close to Jordan the stars would avg 50 a game cus if the lack of defense

If this era was even close to MJ the ratings wouldn't be as bad as Dukes of Hazzard on VH-1.

I am not a bkb fan, my country is not a bkb nation whatsoever, but for a decade or so we never missed a Chicago Bulls Game, sports bars were not transmitting our regular sports they were showing the Bulls Game and the places were packed, all because everyone wanted to see MJ play.
