nespresso vertuo plus faulty - red light and not pumping

I'm not sure if other recent nespresso models use the same design- with the motor being located directly under the pressurized pod chamber. The 5 cent tiny yellow lip seal under the pod holder is a weak point and is not serviceable. Very poor design....

Just had the same issue and did a year down and sure enough same issue with the main motor. Completely rusted...😢
