3 year old Vga unit. Started intermittently freezing then stopped being recognised by windows. Culprit turned out to be a broken wire in the camera head. Average video quality only.
Mine stopped working after a year of flawless service. The portion of the cable that goes from my cell phone to the endoscope's dimmer switch came undone. I opened up the dimmer switch housing and can see the 4 places where the wires connect but am afraid to short out my phone if I solder things incorrectly. Anybody have wiring diagrams? Hollis Jayden, I think you may have the same issue. The cable wasn't glued down properly in the housing and spun around. This detached the wires from the solder points. Simple fix ... if you know where the wires go.
my USB plug is the larger one and all the wires came loose, how do i know witch wire goes where they are Green,White,Red and Black and a bare wire, i know where the bare wire and the black wire goes but just cant figure the other ones, can someone Help?
hi Glen, I didn't need to pull apart the USB end of my camera, so I can't tell you where the wires go, sorry. It will probably be a standard config config for all USB devices, though.
The "lens " attached to the body is basically just a dust cover. You can use the camera without it but it will not be waterproof.

do you glue the lens back in or is it even useable after removing it?
i juat orderd the exact same one and my leds dont even function
