I absolutely love the Griso. I fell in love with it after a test ride in Richmond, Virginia. Now I lust after one. Alas my Moto Guzzi dealer has one inbound...

Unfortunately here in the UK, we don’t get the Griso anymore due to Euro 4 emissions.

Did you know that Griso was a minor character (a bandit, very bad guy) in the 19th century novel I PROMESSI SPOSI by Alessandro Manzoni?

I own one since 2015 and I just can say that it is a wonderful machine. The engine is a piece of art. Much better than BMW engines. I love it.

Scott, thanks for posting the entertaining video. I have owned my 2013 GRiSO for 3 years now and I must say it packs more fun per mile than any road bike I have owned. It is a rare bird and that is what I like about it. I haven't had this much riding fun since my youth riding my Yamaha DT-175 enduro and my CZ 250 motocross bike. Enjoy the ride!

Greetings from America. If all goes to plan I'll be adding the silver and black griso to my garage Monday. I'll park it next to my chopper and harley and probably ride it more than those.

@@NomadicBullFilms I was able to add it to my collection. I ended up going with an leo vince muffler that we had to customize a pipe for to make it work. Love the sound and the power it has. Just a little over 3,000 miles on it in just 4 weeks.
Great video, great production quality. I just picked up a 2017 Griso SE for a good deal here in SF Bay Area, CA. Fantastic bike, just speaks to the rider. Just sold my 2002 BMW R1150R for it too.
A very belated thank you! Sorry about that, not sure what happened there. I sold my R1200GSA for the Griso and don't regret it for a second.

I'm a Canadian living in Las Vegas. Been to all the places in your video. Really brings back memories. Thinking about getting this bike. New 2017 for 8k. Its July 2019 now though.
Don’t worry about the year, the last 4 or 5 are identical. They’ve stopped making them now so they’ll eventually all get bought up. Besides this bike is a keeper so the year is irrelevant.

Hello there Smeghead and am so so sorry for not seeing/replying to the your question earlier. I shot everything on a Canon XA20. Ended up selling it though and now film with a Fuji XT-2 and XH-1. Cheers.

Thanks very much for the comment. Yes I have to admit it was a special day. On a side note I bought the Griso, my first Guzzi without ever test riding it or any other Guzzi before. The first time I rode it was when I got it home, and it lived up to all my expectations!!

That’s the exact same feeling you get picking up a new Guzzi. I have a ‘21 V85TT and what it lacks in HP over the Grizzo it makes up with character and sheer joy when riding. I hope you enjoy your machine. Ciao!

That was interesting, so the bike in the crate is totally assembled apartment from battery and mirror's.
It no dought had engine in it from factory as its run tested and checked in factory and dealer does the prederlivery.
I live 150 miles from the nearest Guzzi dealer. How far away are you from the nearest Guzzi dealer?

This dealer doesn't sell Guzzis anymore. Guzzi dealers in North America seem to come and go, mostly go.

Hi Max, yes it's pretty sweet isn't it. I've been keeping a close eye on it and am looking forward to the reviews as I might get one for the long haul. Still have a BMW R100GS which I love but sold an R1200GSA to buy the Griso. The GSA was too big and technical. I'm hoping Guzzi keeps the weight of the V85 down and keeps it simple (and relatively cheap!) as it sure is a beautiful bike!

Hey Popeye, congratulations to the Italian diva with the big ... cylinders. A good choice. Moto Guzzi somehow exudes something raw and unique. The Italians may not build the most reliable motorcycles (although that is no longer true today), but they certainly make the most beautiful motorcycles. If I had the money, I would get an old Laverda 750 SFC or a Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans I. I wouldn't say no to a Ducati 1098 S either. But the Griso is also a dream motorcycle. Have fun with it on the wide streets of Canada. Even if I am European with body and soul, I envy you Canadians for the vastness of your country.
Most beautiful motorcycles in the world has got to be MV Augusta .....thier new limited edition one is a work of art

I enjoyed your video! I am 60 and have been riding since I was a kid, starting on mini-bikes. I laughed when I read that your son isn't allowed near the Griso; as soon as I turned 16, my dad let me ride his BMW R60, so I was lucky. But I had already been riding for several years. I ride a V7 and love it. I look forward to hearing more about your Griso experiences!
I miss Dave! He sold me a Racer and an Eldo. I love Guzzi (not Guss …) but I can’t warm up to the exhaust of the Griso.

I hope were going to see more of the Griso? I love Moto Guzzis as well! be nice to do a road trip up to Canada on her, maybe get it serviced at the shop you bought it while doing that, kind of a mid way rest day while touring? take a scenic route for maybe a couple of weeks with the service around halfway through? also tons of filming and whatever else. (overeating, bit too much beer etc lol) ride safe!
