I feel it was unnecessary to put Big the Cat in this list, he may not have had the best gameplay in SA1 but he definitely deserves better considering he helped save the world in Sonic: Heroes

Say what you want about Big the Cat, I feel like he’s overhated. Sure his levels are tedious in Adventure 1 but his nature and personality looks like he loves to sit back and relax alot. The music in his levels proves that.
Also are we going to forget about Princess Elise from Sonic 06? She’s way worse than Big the Cat.
Big is just a chilled and relax character, who is willing to help his friends too.

So Eathen's littel shit called Jason who definitely craved death, even fall into a coma, but that wasn't enough to conivnce grace to accept that nothing could save Jason and eathen did everything. At least Shaun should be angry at his brother! And after that plus another shit load of crap in his life, he definitely deserved a break with a Madison. Be honest, after trial 4 and wich was the most traumatizing, and only Madison stayed by his side, nobody would deny a little break from all that crap. Eathan and Madison romance was pretty clumsy, but the happy ending was still well deserved
Leave Big the Cat alone, he’s a chilled and calm character who likes to relax. He is will to help his friends and is one of the strongest characters in strength. He doesn’t like people bullying his friends.
I know people call him dumb, saying he always loses Froggy.
First time he lost Froggy because an angry piece of Chaos 0 took over Froggy’s body forcing it to run away all the time.
Second time, Metal Sonic kidnap it.
Now days, I blame Sega reusing the idea of Big losing Froggy again, because Sega doesn’t know what to do with the characters because they focus of Sonic doing all the work and being the only one playable.
This won’t be the last time Sega ruin a character besides Big, they do the same disrespect on Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Charmy, Marine, Silver, and many more.

Wario & Big don’t deserve to be on the list. Wario is mostly perceived as an anti-hero, & the spinoff games he stars in have him set goals for personal means, there’s a difference between that & an actual hero. Tbh the one reason Big is on the list is bc of his gameplay in SA1. But after that he was good in Heroes & is more of a comical relief character nowadays.
And Big also appeared in _Sonic Frontiers_ as someone you can fish with. I actually like him, to be honest.

I’m surprised y’all didn’t put Jacob Hendricks from COD: Black Ops 3 on your list. He was a character that basically just stayed the same and was UNBEARABLY ANGSTY throughout the whole game. (He could give Wolverine a run for his money.)

8:32 for thoses who saw Aiden bland and unlikeable didn’t really looked into the deeper meaning of his character arch. There’s more to him than what’s been shown about him from his gameplay style , his motivations and his dialogue throughout the main narrative. True Marcus Holloway does have the style and the personality however Aiden is the real face of watch dogs because how well his character arch was perfectly flushed out which makes him relatable and realistically genuine, just because he doesn’t have lots of personality unlike other protagonists, it doesn’t mean he’s bland or unlikable. He’s too real and too strong for some to handle.

I don’t really know about those other series (I know A LITTLE bit about Banjo-Kazooie, but not much), but Skylanders REALLY hit me hard when I read that list. I grew up playing all six games (seven, if you count SuperChargers Racing as a separate game) in the series, so seeing the franchise slowly die off brought me down. I was really hoping for a seventh game, but it never happened. Hopefully Microsoft revives or reboots the series now that they have acquired Activision and Blizzard.

-This game basically did everything wrong with this one character. He has an unbearably unlikable personality, he commits several actions unbecoming of a hero, his playstyle is derivative of other characters in the series, and he doesn't develop as a character thoughout the campaign.
Even if he WERE meant to be a villain protagonist, there's a bunch of other games that do the villain protagonist better, like Drakengard, Destroy All Humans, Overlord, or Grand Theft Auto. Which GTA? ANY OF THEM! They're all better and more compelling than this pompous prick!
I mained patroklos in v and loved him because he was a complete idiot and so cocky. I found it stupidly hilarious. But yes he's an awful protagonist and I want him to return but not as a protagonist, more as a villain or anti hero.

It doesn't help that SC:V was forced through by greedy bosses before completion - all of the characters had fleshed out stories, and an actual role in the game being the children/successors of the original cast, but all that was left unfinished. 😞 It was a nice idea, just badly handled thanks to the greed of the higher-ups.
Do you even play the whole SCV story mode, because it sounds to me that you're not. Sure he goes off a bad start but he's become redeemable later on. I mean, look at his Alpha self, which is canon.

He is in no way a terrible hero. When the Zero Point was out of control back at the beginning of Season 6 and the Imagined Order just sat back and watched, Jones was the only one who decided to step up and call for help via the Seven and together they practically saved reality.

As for Aiden Pierce, his whole rampage was extracting vengeance, revenge on the people who murderer his neice. I’m a family man. So i can sympathize with him. If my neice was murderer, i would do unthinkable things to the people responsible for her death as well. Yes we was a hacker but he tried to put that life behind him after one heist went wrong. He wanted out of the lifestyle, and was out until they came after Aiden and his family, killing his neice in the process. So he might be an anti hero, but he’s not a villain or a bad guy.

First off, he doesn't even deserve to be this high on the list or on the list at all if that's your only reason. His fishing levels may not be the greatest but they're aren't that bad if you get his upgrades. Second, have you guys even played Sonic Heroes? Yeah, maybe he's not the smartest but he's cares deeply for other people AND he helped saved the world with Team Rose. Not to mention he can literally throw heavy objects like cars across long distances if he wants to.
If you wanted to add a Sonic character here for a "terrible hero", I think Marine the Raccoon woul be more fitting considering that she never listens to others and thinks she's the boss of everyone.

Now I get that thankfully it was mentioned in the video that they do see that Big has done so much over the years but they were only counting him in Sonic Adventure but one he helped encourage Sonic to be Super Sonic at the end for Sonic to save the day and two he is such a gentle giant and no way is he a jerk like the other heroes were on this list.
You know what? Honestly I take it all back as in Big doesn't deserve to be on this list at all. You know why? Froggy was in danger and Froggy needed help from his friend and Froggy was in danger for Eggman had him inside of Chaos 6 after getting that chaos emerald from him.
Sonic promised Big that he'd help him save Froggy and Sonic gave Big the chance to save Froggy and then he fought Chaos 6 himself.
Froggy is a living being and Big saved him from Chaos 6. That's a hero! That's a good friend and an excellent hero. Just because people are not big fans of his levels doesn't mean that he's a bad hero in the story at all for after all animals like Froggy have rights to live too right? I rest my case! EEP! :)

Kaim wasn't immune from emotions of conflict or death. He lost his memory. This list is near the beginning and they already fucked up a major fact that should contribute to this list. It is VERY obvious that whoever made this video never played Lost Odyssey. I'm not even trying to defend the game. I'm just trying to shame the fool that didn't do their homework.
They didn't even properly explain the reason for his inclusion, just called him emotionless and made fun of his armor.
The speaker for this list is nearly always relishing in his ignorant snobbery.
Beautiful underrated game
It was a great game and wholeheartedly agree that Kaim shouldn't be on this list and that whole line about his armor just shows how they never played the game otherwise they would know that Kaim is immortal and can only be killed in a specific worldly location, so why wear armor.
Lost Odyssey is an under rated game and Kaim is an under rated protagonist (in my opinion at least).
Fishing levels have nothing to do with Big The Cat himself. He looks, sounds and is funny, is nice to everyone, has a cool hobby, literally sacrifices his life just to save his frog friend even if a nearly almighty creature has eaten him, helps his friends to find their friends, destroys enemies and robots with a fucking fishing rod and is also able to obtain Chaos Emeralds. Oh yeah, he also rides a motorcycle as well. Hating a character just because of bad gameplay (Big's Story in Sonic Adventure only took a single hour to me) is like hating a voice actor because he voices terrible characters. He doesn't deserve to be on this list at all and you really need to think if your thoughts on him are actually justifying. Because they are not.
The three characters I strongly disagree with you on the list are... Wario Knack and Parappa.
And we still love Wario. At least I do

Huh, I would have thought that PacMan from his PacMan game would be on here. I saw PushingUpRoses playthrough of it and you cant make Pacman too angry or happy or sad. Kratos from God of War I to III. He is by no means a bad character, but in terms of "heroic," well, his obsession with revenge kills most of Greece! Not even mentioning the cruelty he chooses when killing most opponents.

.... That's your problem with Kaim? The fact that he's an edgelord who lost his memories? Look, leave Lost Odyssey alone, for one. You should replace him with an edgelord who actively kills innocents, like, say, Patrokokos for example? And for two, Big's actually not that bad. He's one of the most innocent characters and is a lot more active in saving the world after his debut. Wario's inclusion also is strange. Yeah, he's not a good guy, but that's the point; he's an anti-hero. Alex Mercer is also treated as a such.

Ethan Mars- Sure but for different reasons, namely because of his actions in saving his son, some of which are maybe understandable, but don't make them less heinous and the fact that he ignored his son for so long due to his guilt until that son's life was in danger. The whole thing with him finding new love though is understandable. Apparently they never played this game, otherwise they would know that the mall Ethan loses his first kid in is full packed with people, which leads to Ethan feeling so guilty that years later he ignores his son and life has taken a big tumble.
19. Kaim Argonar- Disagree with strongly. Whoever wrote this list never bothered to play this game either or even at least learn the story, cause their whole reason for putting him on this list is that he feels nothing for no reason and wears thin armor. Kaim is basically an amnesiac immortal who can't be killed unless in a specific location (boundary between worlds) and who will never get sick or die of old age for he only ages 1 year after every 1000 years, so he has been around a long time and seen hundreds, maybe even thousands of tragedies/death/war. What's worse is that he is a victim himself for his amnesia is forced upon him by another (Gongora) thereby erasing his emotions which he sometimes occasionally regains.
18. Knack- Never played but sounds like the only reason he is on this list is because lack of game mechanics which if that is the only reason, then he shouldn't be on this list.
17. Alex Mercer- Technically he is an anti-hero and later villain so why is he on this list?
16. Wario- Same reason as 17, why on this list?
15. Chloe Price- Only reason on this list in the first place is because of understandable attitude about hating a step-parent, so?
14. Parappa- Actions about trying to win girlfriend, okay.
13. King Knight- Same as Wario, an anti-hero/villain so why on this list?

11. Aiden Pearce- Fine.
10. Neku- Shallow reason for this is because of his initial attitude after finding himself forced into a death game, seriously why?
09. Desmond Miles- Fine, but Connor is still worse.
08. Jonesy- Again why? Only reason is bland personality which I highly question if they ever played the game.
07. Dante (DMC version only)- Okay.
06. Beck- No real reason to be on this list except the game is bad.
05. Jake Conway- more understandable reason but still from a broken game that if done properly might have been better. Still an anti-hero though.
04. Ninjabread Man- Apparently another broken game is reason enough to make this list, so why?
03. Drake- Another anti-hero.
02. Big the Cat- Here for boring gameplay, but I agree because he is annoying outside the gameplay too. Completely bland/boring/forgettable character that only ends up "saving the world" (if you want to call it that) by complete accident and didn't really need to be there not even as comic relief.
01. Bugsy the Bobcat- Okay.
They were completely wrong about Ethan Mars. THE MALL WAS ABSOLUTELY PACKED! Also Ethan Mars was a great hero
@@ihateweebs7890 Yeah the mall was packed, that was one of my points, but I believe that Ethan is a broken not great hero, because of his actions at the start and what he does to get his son back even though some of it is understandable.

@@ihateweebs7890 Because of his feelings of guilt over his first son's death he has all but forgotten/ignored his other son and even his life/job/marriage until his second son is kidnapped. Even worse it is implied that he is not taking his medication properly which leads to his frequent blackouts that even allowed his son to be kidnapped in the first place.
@@michaellilly965 so he is a dysfunctional father, so what? any father who loses a kid will have a major change up screwing up there life, suffering trauma does not make you a bad father. I think the fact that that he is so screwed up helps contribute to why is the most realistic dad a video game can portray He loves his kid but he is not capable of taking care of him, being a broken dad is what makes him a realistic hero, despite being practically mentally insane he still puts his life on the line to save his kid. That's so much better than some good looking perfect life superhero

About Eathen: in heavy rain nobody could save the little shit he names Jason, plus sleeping with Madison is optional, but I don't think it's an unrealistic thing to do, Eathen deserved twenty minutes of making out with a good female
Rather than Alex Mercer, I’d have put James Heller in the list. At least Alex never seems to enjoy devouring other people like Heller does, and he’s not as dumb as Heller is.
