- Learn how to make beef sashimi recipe, also call beef Tataki. Japanese cuisine is very refined. It uses a lot of raw or what may seem like undercooked products. It is a very healthy way to cook and it will taste very good as long as you don't compromise on the quality of the ingredients. In this recipe, the beef is the star.

This is basically how I make every steak with the exception of rib eye, I just sear it until the meat is set somewhere around 95 to 110 internal temp.
I didn't know I could slice it up, plate it and call it Tataki.
I studied Japanese cuisine for a year long ago. My favorite dish is toriwasa -- nearly raw, barely seared chicken in tiny, tiny cubes, in a wasabi-soy sauce. It is a starter for a meal. We like raw foods here in France, as you know! Even pork is raw, but cured. Beef, eggs, fish, horsemeat, et c. Healthy from time to time! Uprated.
love raw foods cooked as well but make sure if you eat raw beef or poultry that it is high grade from farm or wild to the supplier and chef these are not like raw fish there are some very hellish bacteria and germs and the bacteria can not be killed by freezing i have ate raw beef a few times sushi and most raw fish i am fine with just remember these beef and chicken related poisonings take months years to heal from or kill.
@@haraldsigurdsson1232 out immune system isn't as strong anymore and doesn't recognize the bacteria in raw meat any more we also had stronger stomach acids most humans today still do
You cut the beef with the grain...
Shouldn't you cut against? 🤔
It's tenderloin, doesn't really matter.
