How to install keyless locking on your 2008 Toyota Tacoma.

Today we install keyless entry on my base model Tacoma.
I've been living with manually having to lock and unlock my truck and finally said enough. Went on eBay and found the cheapest kit I could find and now we install it on my Tacoma!

nice man, are the only wires that would need to connect to the actual vehicle the ground, constant, and ignition wire?

Yep! For the keyless entry all you need are those 3 wires!!

Would it be possible to have this connected to the parking lights to?

I think if your kit has an auxiliary relay contact, you could wire it that way, but mine didn't have that option, so I couldn't install it that way.

Yup!! The principles are the same. Do a little research on what style of locking mechanism you have and then purchase the right kit. It's basically following the video after that.

I don't think I can post the link to the eBay kit I bought, but if you search for a keyless entry kit on eBay, it was ~35$.
