How do I figure out which wires to tap into if my year/make/model doesn’t have a diagram on commando alarms? All of the wires on my 2013 Kia soul are taped tightly together so I’m not easily able to pull wires out and examine closely
I see that commando alarms has 2010-2011. Sometimes the wiring could be the same for other year models. Another thing you can do is Google the Kia forums to see if someone has uploaded a wiring diagram or wiring info. My last resort (if you don’t know anyone with access to AllData) would be to go to a small time stereo shop and offer them $10 for the wiring diagram. 😅
I assumed your car is a LHD drive. I have the diagrams for your car. It has 3 separate signal wires for lock and unlock door. 1 single wire for unlock and unlock from the inside door handle/switch. 2 separate signal wires for lock and unlock signal through the physical key.
It would be the same way as connecting it to the starter. You cut a powered wire going to the pump and put the relay in between. I personally wouldn’t wire it to the pump because I wouldn’t want to accidentally engage it while the car is driving and I wouldn’t want the guest to burn out the starter if they keep trying to turn on the car with no fuel.

Hey, thanks for the video! I got the same kit for my Toyota Celica T200 (1994) Can you confirm if my install will be the same as yours or do I have to wire it differently? (im not sure if mine is negative trigger aswell) Also the websites states my power unlock has 2 cables, how should i wire it? Thanks!
On the website it states: "NOTE #1: WHEN CONNECTING FOR UNLOCK, YOU MUST USE BOTH WIRES AND DIODE ISOLATE, to connect." www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/1994-1996/toyota/celica/1967.html So you'll have the 2 unlock wires from the car and 1 from this system, so 3 wires connected together. I just don't know how to "Diode isolate" like it says on the note.
I'm sorry, but you would have to find the manual/instruction booklet for your aftermarket actuators or to test the wires individually to find out what each wire does.

@@diegom1931 I understand now. It's possible that there is another door lock wire. Where did you find the one you connected to? Was it on the door or on a car computer?

Okay, have a question, that I feel like I should be able to have figured out, but.... I have a similar Amazon aftermarket keyless door lock system and have a weird issue. I have it wires as such from the harness that came w/ the alarm... 1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 (Electric locks, just no remote capability from the factory) Red (12V+) Black (Ground) White (Pin 13) (12V+ Accessory/Ignition) - With this connected, it seems to lock and unlock the doors when I turn the key to Accessory White (Lock) Yellow (Ground) White/Black (Unlock) Yellow/Black (Ground) The remotes work just fine. It's when the truck is running (or in accessory) that things aren't right. The truck will not lock. I have disconnected the White (Pin13) Ignition wire and I get the same results. So with this white connected. I unlock the truck, get it, start the truck, the locks cycle to locked and quickly unlocked. I cannot manually lock the truck. They quickly unlock again. With this White (Pin 13) disconnected, I unlock the truck, get it, start the truck, the locks no longer try to lock (so this wire is to lock on start) I still cannot manually lock the truck. They quickly unlock when I try. Any suggestions?
hello, my unlock and lock does not work. I connected the white and white-black wires for the lock and unlock. the small module activates when I use the controller. but I don't have any 12 volts coming out of the white wire and the white-black of the module, do you have an idea?
You have to get 12v from somewhere else on the car, it wont come from the white or white/black wires. You can find 12v from cigarette lighter, radio, or straight from the battery.
I'm sorry I don't know anything about the Nissan March specifically. You should be able to find wiring information online and use this video to connect the wires where they need to be.

Hi, I installed the aftermarket keyless entry system for my 2016 Toyota Corolla but I think it’s killing my battery. Is there an easy way to take it out?
Hi, it shouldn't drain any power if wired properly. Are you sure that's the root cause of the issue? Disconnecting the wire plug from the module will be sufficient to test that theory.
I need your help I have a 2006 Kia Sportage LX that has power locks etc. I do not have the factory key or a key fob i only have a copy of the key. I wanna know how would I know how to wire this keyless entry system that I’ve ordered? The location is where I find myself struggling.
I just installed this on my chevy express van and for some reason now the button for my drivers door does not work at all. The keyless entry system works and unlocks all doors just fine, even drivers door, all other buttons in the van also work for every door, only the drivers side button does not work (this is the one I tied into for keyless entry). Any ideas why this might be? If I take the lock/unlock wires from the keyless entry system off of my drivers door switch, the switch works again. Seems like something with the keyless entry module messing with the switch but I just don’t know why that would be. Figure A is the wiring diagram I had to use btw

Hey mate i have a fiat punto dynamicn variant.. Will i be able to install this setup on it?
It should be able to if it has power door locks and didn't come with a key fob from factory.

Yes that sounds like it should work!
how do you know where the door lock unlock cable is?
free diagrams online. Google your car information and "alarm installation wires"
color code plus legend in the manual.
So I hooked it up the same as you on a 2006 Corolla it works great at first then overnight the next day it will not work till I cycle the ignition what do you think the problem is
Sounds like the car goes to “sleep”. Where did you connect the 12v constant to? -James
My car has a positive locking system. I wired the 2 yellow wires to a constant positive and the white lock and unlock to wires to the opening and closing wires on my door lock switch but I keep getting a short when unlocking.
Are you sure it is positive locking? What year make and model?
@@CarSharingJho its a semi truck. 2014 mack pinnacle. I tapped into the driver side door lock switch. When lock or unlock is pressed i get a 12v reading. I got the keyless entry to work by wiring the yellow and yellow and black to a 12v positive. The white and white and black are tapped into the wires that show 12v when lock or unlock is pressed coming from the switch. I had to unplug the switch for it to work tho. If I plug it back in and try to use the keyless entry it shorts.
Does it drain your battery? Some systems do
Have not noticed any draining.
What if i want the one with beeping sound. Where do i connect
There's a wire that connects to the horn.
@@CarSharingJho aight thx

@@CarSharingJho good day, I have the same question for a mazda 2 2010, thanks
does this increase likelyhood of theft?
Someone would have to know what frequency your car is set to and that you even have an aftermarket system.
Are all the same wiring to connect if different car?
Every car will be different.
@@CarSharingJhoi just installed mine and unlocked button (white) works but when (white with black) locked gets heated so only unlocked button works on my end. How this possible? Or is there anything i can do? Car is rvr 1998
What does negative triggered lock system mean?😊😊
The wires have to be grounded
Can you program any car remote to this locking system ?
or does it have to be this specific fob
I have not tried another remote.
hi!!!
thanks for you video is great and useful.
I have checked the link, to find the wiring (power lock / unlock) for mazda 3 2010, but I cannot find those cables to connect the keyless module, do yo have any idea to find them?
thanks a lot !!!
The lock/unlock will be in drivers kick panel.

Hey:) I got this in my car from the previous owner but i found out my stock remote central locking works fine. If i just unplug the device from the connector with the cables will my stock remote work?
That should be fine!
Quick question I been wanting to do this to my 99 honda Accord. The key fob is f**ked, anyways when you click unlock 1x does it automatically unlock all 4 doors? Or will it just unlock the front 2 or just the driver side ? I know most nowadays u have to double-click to unlock all of them ?
It unlocks all doors on 1 click.
Hey, thanks for the video!
I got the same kit for my Toyota Celica T200 (1994) Can you confirm if my install will be the same as yours or do I have to wire it differently? (im not sure if mine is negative trigger aswell)
Also the websites states my power unlock has 2 cables, how should i wire it?
Thanks!
On the website it states: "NOTE #1: WHEN CONNECTING FOR UNLOCK, YOU MUST USE BOTH WIRES AND DIODE ISOLATE, to connect."
www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/1994-1996/toyota/celica/1967.html
So you'll have the 2 unlock wires from the car and 1 from this system, so 3 wires connected together. I just don't know how to "Diode isolate" like it says on the note.
hi, do you know how to install the same for a lancer 04 ES? thank you
Here are the wires www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/2003-2004/mitsubishi/lancer/1567.html
I have after market actuators installed on my 94 Toyota Tercel the wires are blue, black, green , brown and White wich wires fo i hook up to the module
I'm sorry, but you would have to find the manual/instruction booklet for your aftermarket actuators or to test the wires individually to find out what each wire does.
thanks for the video. I almost done it.
With the remote control, all doors works except for drivers door.
With the key in my hand, ALL doors works.

Hi i have installed th systsm almost 2 years but on controller now doesnot work ! I changed battery but same.. any idea how to programize that ?
Have you tried another battery just in case? I have had instances where the new battery is bad/dead too.
If that doesn't work, the system is so cheap that I would just buy another one and swap it out completely, without touching any of the wires.
My keyless entry doesn't work, can I just pull the old one and install this one?
Yes

Okay, have a question, that I feel like I should be able to have figured out, but....
I have a similar Amazon aftermarket keyless door lock system and have a weird issue. I have it wires as such from the harness that came w/ the alarm...
1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 (Electric locks, just no remote capability from the factory)
Red (12V+)
Black (Ground)
White (Pin 13) (12V+ Accessory/Ignition) - With this connected, it seems to lock and unlock the doors when I turn the key to Accessory
White (Lock)
Yellow (Ground)
White/Black (Unlock)
Yellow/Black (Ground)
The remotes work just fine.
Does it still not let you lock if you unplug the system unit, but leave the other wires plugged in?
hello, my unlock and lock does not work.
Is the 1999 camry negative trigger or positive?
Negative.

how did you sync up the remotes? i cant get it to sync
They should come pre sync'd
Would it be possible to install this on a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport?
If it has power door locks it can be installed.

It does not. Just one press for all doors.
Hi,
I installed the aftermarket keyless entry system for my 2016 Toyota Corolla but I think it’s killing my battery. Is there an easy way to take it out?
Hi, it shouldn't drain any power if wired properly. Are you sure that's the root cause of the issue? Disconnecting the wire plug from the module will be sufficient to test that theory.
Is this safe to build in? And If someone else next to me has the same system would both car function on 1 remote? That could be a problem I think
Yeah that could be a downside of these cheap systems.

Should work on any car with power door locks.
I need your help I have a 2006 Kia Sportage LX that has power locks etc. I do not have the factory key or a key fob i only have a copy of the key. I wanna know how would I know how to wire this keyless entry system that I’ve ordered? The location is where I find myself struggling.
Here are the wires you will tapping into: www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/2005-2006/kia/sportage/1225.html
Did you splice the wire or T-tap into it?
How do I know what kind of trigger entry system I have
What year make and model? Most all vehicles are negative triggered.
