Ok im gonna speak as a chinese person, game censorship in this case is not a “government” problem, its a problem with some very conservative parents influenced to think that this kind of game is somehow going to have bad influences on their children, which everyone knows is bullshit. This was the same case as with blood in games being green in china instead of red, with chinese gamers complained for years but the government still went through with the change because there were actual protests from parents who dont know shit about gaming.
China WANTS to censor Genshin, but they know if they do they'll get INSANE backlash. They'd rather use Genshin as a propaganda tool to be like "Chinese games are so cool and china is so progressive guys!" when that's clearly not the case. 99.9% of chinese games are mobile pay to win slop with broken mechanics, insanely greedy features like VIP, and usually some sort of stolen content, and China is one of the least progressive countries in the world after the middle east. That's the only reason why they've allowed femboys in Genshin, who China HATES. As long as Mihoyo doesn't push the line too much they're allowed to do what they want as a "cultural beacon" for China. Though Genshin is still censored in China. Multiple characters such as Mona were given less revealing costumes in 1.1 which are the default in worldwide, but in global and japanese servers you can revert them to the uncensored designs at a push of a button. China doesn't have that button, but after 1.1 there was no more censorship minus Rosalia's chest.
Im pretty sure genshin helps The government w paying certain constructions and stuff so as long as They dont Go REALLLY Crazy on It They kinda get a " pass "

in the german verion of the fist halflife npcs you shot would sit down and shake their heads if they where friendly and the HECU where replaced with combat robots.
i havent even seen the Gundam censorship until now and i actually yelled out "SULETTA NO!!!" when i saw the censorship on that image XD
Please never go back to 2 minute videos
This is not news though Game For Peace is the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile and has been out since the game's release (2017). The same kind of censorship is in every game's chinese version
Also you can change the blood color in the Global version of PUBG Mobile too. The chinese version just has the Red color removed and the default color is changed to Green.
Funny how you mentioned Tianamen Square considering today's the anniversary
Why am I not surprised? I bet they are gonna start saying the following in Mandarin:
“Taiwan is apart of china”
“HK and Macau are apart of china”
“Nothing happened on June 4th, 1989”
and etc
Nothing happened in Georgetown US, on the fifth of may, 1988.
Correction: There is no town called Georgetown, and there definitely wasn't a systematic homicide that took place there.
@@victoralexandervinkenes9193 real.
HK is a part of china tho nowadays - before it wasnt but the treaty expired
Wouldn't censoring blood all your life then being on the battlefield irl and seeing blood irl have bad consequences? Like right?
Guess I’m moving to China… no wait, that’s a bad idea.
Fortnite in China has also got the same if the match goes on for like too long like an hour-long match or something like that you can just win and leave the lobby while there's like still 50 people on the map like how does that even happen
If Doom was owned by China it will definitely be named "Have a Good Mood" where you "eliminate" People who are Taiwanese and know Taiwan is a Country and you do it with different Types of Pillows and the Final Boss is named Stupidity and the end Credits are replaced with a Military Ad and of course it needs to look like Unicorn Vomit
Honestly the white blood is even worse red blood,I'm oozing 🥜 out mah paper cut
germany: i am 10 years ahead
Just as I thought censorship had gone far enough.....
From what Im seeing, I have been thinking what my long term career would be. I thought I would be good for the us military but they are looking for brilliant minds, and I am not one of them. I am not getting anywhere with the ASVAB.
You know how they say watching tv makes you violent? Well me not having my tv is making me pretty fucking violent!!!!
Also, I thought China was trying to prepare the people for war with ... whomever. I think real soldiers may or may not have to deal with violent images.
That's the point, to create an image for potential future cannon fodder that war will won't be a bloodbath meat grinder so they'll willingly enlist
@@alexeystarkov7504 what makes this gaming thing more silly is that they have shows made for children where animals based off other countries get horribly slaughtered in war including the Wolfs of America gassing children to death am not kidding
Tmrw is June 4th, the day nothing happened
Holy crap, you're right!
Is it me or is that asuka from Evangelion
thinking the same thing
I wonder how this will affect Genshin impact mihoyo is a Chinese company and liyue is literally china the whole lantern right thing is Chinese new year I think? Idk but they just showcase Chinese culture is that propaganda? Maybe but it’s not military propaganda
Edit: I thought that china was putting propaganda in their games that come from Chinese companies like mihoyo and tencent outside china I was definitely wrong but I’m sure i wasn’t the only one who thought they were putting propaganda in stuff outside china
There's a therm called "soft power". Look how great Liyue compared to awful and crazy Inazuma, or free yet still much more problematic Mondstadt, or god forbid, Sumeru which is the epitome of "ignorance is a bliss" So yeah, wouldn't be surprised if Chinese government controls their most popular game to show their country in the right light
real ones know the title was changed
I could work with the custom blood colors as paintball marks but it’s just so poorly executed
3:32 great now they'll be called the "researcher bullies"
Ok im gonna speak as a chinese person, game censorship in this case is not a “government” problem, its a problem with some very conservative parents influenced to think that this kind of game is somehow going to have bad influences on their children, which everyone knows is bullshit. This was the same case as with blood in games being green in china instead of red, with chinese gamers complained for years but the government still went through with the change because there were actual protests from parents who dont know shit about gaming.
Imagine they did this with genshin impact
Oh god! 😂
So it becomes average genshin fan -art-
genshin light reasonable application of pressure and force
Im pretty sure genshin helps The government w paying certain constructions and stuff so as long as They dont Go REALLLY Crazy on It They kinda get a " pass "
tianamen square nevr forget
2:21 They are real.
5:29 the one guy that does get heart problems by being in the top 5 of a pubg match 😭
Yep, this is normal.
that was 3 years ago
It's possible to turn off mic and speaker in the game
2:28 it looks like someone just came all over here
1 hour video when
Who knew a country with force labor camps and having basically a dictatorship would censor a game because of MINOR GORE.
Don't forget it's the same country who goes nuts over human rights demonstrations (tianamen square incident)
@@scrubfire14So, China is basically the definition of a hypocrite?
@@MapBotOnTH-cam guess you can say that
George orwells looking down be like:👁️👄👁️
china done enabled pyroland in pubg 💀
5:25 man, just wait until they see geometry dash
I Like the Idea of being able to Change the colour of Blood in a game
you should get chivalry 2 dude. Its free on the epic store rn and its one of the best games iv ever played. I think u would have a good time man
You should talk about the new twitch mobile UI. Amazon pulled a discord with the new mobile UI because it sucks.
They even got bad voice acting. Intentionally bad voice acting. Media Blasters bad voice acting.
Zoro uses 4 sword style for the first time: 2:29
I mean, hows that different from identity politics in gaming in the us?
Manga censors know exactly what they're doing
I hate my life
0:18 bro really forgot about conscription.
That is during wartime.
@@NoFlyZone31 no, many western countries have conscription based militaries.
where i am we are forced to join the millitary actually
What country is that?
@jacobsilvis2471 lots of countries have mandatory military service, mostly for a few years. South Korea is probably the most prominent example of this.
@@jacobsilvis2471Brazil, Russia, Mexico, Egypt, DR Congo, Vietnam, Iran, Turkey, Thailand, Colombia, South Korea, North Korea, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco, Ukraine, Angola, Uzbekistan, Mozambique, Venezuela, Niger, Syria, Mali, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Chad, Guatemala, Senegal, Cambodia, Benin, Bolivia, Tunisia, Jordan, South Sudan, Cuba, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Greece, UAE, Belarus, Israel, Austria, Laos, Paraguay, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, El Salvador, Singapore, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Kuwait, Eritrea, Georgia, Mongolia, Moldova, Armenia, Qatar, Lithuania, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Estonia, Cyprus, and Bhutan have mandatory service
@@jeremiahbennett3004Or Russia, but conscripted army service here is a completely miserable waste of one year of your life. + With the war going on many conscripts being "kindly offered" to sign a contract usually after half a year with heartwarming promises that they will totally won't be send to the frontline 😂
By law, male US citizens are expected to register for the draft .
tbh the core gameplay is the same compared to pubg mobile, i played both versions and its the same.
Actually, I had total heart failure while playing PUBG, have some respect Spatnz😤
I think they want their youth " healthy " and " stronk " bullshit
0:45 most PUBG players are in South East Asia, India, or The Middle East.
Chinese gamers cannot catch a break man
Why am I not surprised.
India also has it's own pubg mobile version
man idk if its just me. but i think spat has made the comentary better but the visuals worse
This look more like a april fools day update, not something that would actually happen
Bro why yr blood is red?!
Fuck censorship. I’m gonna go play Postal 2.
Buttsauce
Ah yes, the best kind of insult to any child censorship system to ever exist.
what i like about spatnz is that he is at least consistent and not a hypocrite, like if you're going to shit on a country for doing something like this at least acknowledge that your country isn't much better at all
Umm not really? It's more like, "no country is perfect" rather than US being not better than China (when it's objectively is, and it can be easily proven by many different factors)
i dont think that white stuff is blood... 😐
Let's be real, it was never blood in the first place!
