So happy I came across this video. I was trying to figure out how to process a Silks 4 U hank and I would have made it way more complicated were I not to have seen your hot tips! I now have my gorgeous hank on 20 floss drops and I'm ready to conquer Pandemic by Long Dog! :)
Good morning, Kari! I love your idea. My sewing group is coming over today and I’m going to be cutting up greeting cards to make into floss drops. I saw a question on Facebook that maybe you can answer. When you hang your floss on a “floss wall“ how do you keep the floss from getting dusty? I can think of a few ways but maybe you have something “genius.”
A sewing group? I'm super jealous....I wish I had a sewing group coming over today. Unfortunately I don't have a dust hack. It hasn't been an issue yet, but I'm pretty sure it's coming. I'm thinking one of those shadow box frames with the door that opens will become my new floss wall. (or two or 3) I'm moving later this year, so I'm going to wait until I have my new room to set up before I change things up.
Great tutorial! ❤️❤️

Plastic playing cards are brilliant for the drops.
What a great idea for playing cards no longer used, excellent idea.

This is great. I have a hank that I need to do this for. Is it the same if the hank has different colors 🤔?
❤❤❤
You’re speaking so softly…is Lily sleeping? ☺️
HeeHee! Yes she was. That's the first thing Patrick said to me after he watched the video. :)
