Its basically going to add further immersion to the final mission in 3; it already overhauls the earth hub in a way that showcases some of the war assets you've collected, 2.0 is adding additional cutscenes (Some of which were shown in last year's mod showcase) to further improve upon that goal.
This is pretty cool. Just wanted to point out that the ME: Galaxy mod won't be quite like the mobile game, as we cannot port the gameplay elements over. Instead, it'll be a bit more a mix between Genesis DLC and an FMV, so you'll watch the story but there won't be a huge amount of control over what happens. It isn't ideal, but its better than losing the entire story forever. Also, once it's made, you'll be able to track if you have completed the story and other mods can then set up plot changes based around it.
Nice, and it's not like the gameplay was that riveting anyway, just glad, as you said, we will be able to have a way to experience the story in a much easier way
I had almost finished a run through, looks like I gotta update and start again lol. This is awesome! I don't know how to do this. I'm trying to learn how to add a new war asset. But modders do so much, its awesome!!! But I think I won't be playing vanilla me3 anytime soon.
Mass Effect is my favorite video game franchise of all time. Until last year I only played on consoles at least once a year. But last year I finally decided to try them on PC with mods, and it's been incredible. A shame I've missed out on such a wonderful talented community all these years.
I've only just started to learn how to mod my MELE, and now I don't know whether to start playing with what I've got or hold off and wait for some of these amazing looking mods to be released.
Most ME fans that use mods are those who will replay the game again and again, and I imagine you're probably the same way. So I'd suggest playing the mods now, and then maybe do another on N7 Day. New content gets released all the time, so it'll feel like the game is ever evolving and you'll find something new on each new run :)
@masseffectmods4599 Thank you for the reply. I ended up going for it and absolutely loved my playthrough of ME1. It felt so different and reminiscent of the first time I ever played it. Did have a few issues like a mod suddenly not working and Liara's face changing completely on Ilos, but it was still a blast. Just finished the suicide mission in ME2, and once I get through Arrival, I'll be able to get to my most anticipated of the trilogy.
I'm sure the yahg would be eager to receive you and establish diplomatic ties in the Beyond the Relays mod. On a side note, I was cracking up watching Commander Elcor Shepard walking by and inspecting his interesting cast of characters crew.
After all theses years I am still surprised no modder ever created an ME3 mod that allows the Normandy to be fully finished and retrofitted. From beginning to end you have thesse gutted wall panels and combat stations or exposed wiring everywhere. Would have been great to see the ship retrofits being gradually finished as you advance the different missions of the main storyline and by mid-game (let's just say after the Cerberus coup), the SR2 is fully clean and ready for duty.
That's most likely because terrain editing can be quite difficult to get right, so it's quite a tall order unless you're really keen. Maybe someday someone will give it a go :)
One project variety came out I used it, and completed two LE3 playthroughs with it. Is the diversification project gonna be better now after all these feature updates? What do you think? Also I think that if the modding teams of PV and DP worked together they could pull off even bigger feats.
The endless passion the fans have for this trilogy never fails to amaze me! EA are complete clowns for not catering to this wonderful community of passionate sci fi geeks more, who only want more of this incredible universe. EA doesn’t deserve them or Mass Effect.
A lot of awesome stuff here, it makes me wish I played ME on PC. The Diversification mods look they do a ton of interesting and useful stuff, but the one that looks the most interesting to me would probably have to be the Take Earth Back project. It incorporates the various factions during Hackett's address like I had always wished ME3 did originally. Another small thing that has always bothered me (which has nothing to do with the mod) is the awkward way Hackett's guards walk when they're coming aboard the Normandy. I know the mod aims to do much more important things, but it would be nice if it could somehow correct the guards' walk, and the weird, limp-wristed way they hold their guns.
Important question: are all the presented mods compatible with each other? Or should compatibility be checked by independent testing? Would you like to know about compatibility with different localizations?
Ugh I wish there were more mods for Andromeda to improve it some more with more missions and make the planets even more engaging like they have done with the Trilogy.
Mass effect trilogy: *No Mod Support* Mass Effect Community: "And I took that personally" I swear these gorgeous bastards will end up making a whole new game
this is awesome and all, love this modding community, but i find strange how still no one improved the ME3 walking/running cycle animations of Shepard, both exploration and combat, which is probably one of the worst player animations in AAA gaming due to the rush in game development that ME3 had, thanks EA. We have almost every kinda of mods but not that one, which is probably one of the most needed due to how distracting the vanilla one is, i guess its impossible to mod player animations? that would explain
@@patrickschulz2193 i tried it and i don't think its a solution to the problem, it kinda felt a bit off in some aspects, and me1 exploration and combat running is kinda ankward too, me2 one was better, probably with me2 animations it would be way better... Anyways i was referring to a hypotetical me3 animation improvements
@@Spillow-C It's certainly, in principle, possible to mod animations from what I can tell. My best guess is most people didn't find it as much of a hill to die on as you, lol.
Why couldn't the authors of the mass effect legendary edition somehow collaborate with the modders to bring in content from the mods to release a truly incredible remaster?
@@auberginemanproductions1608 You are correct, though they did this quite late in development. It meant modders were able to ensure we could mod the game, but sadly it meant that modders couldn't provide them with a comprehensive list of issues from OT to fix before release.
We're still debating exactly how it'll release, but it'll effectively act as a submod expansion to Take Earth Back. That way we can make changes to the core mod without adding content some people might not want.
@@MassEffectModding thanks. Nearly finished with ME2, so going into ME3 will be fun. Although, I remember in the modding video from last year there was a clip of Miranda in a fighter pilot for the Take Earth Back mod. Has that been implemented yet?
hi i have problem with some mods for me3 here they are breaking missions like in cuts scene specialy on mars i could open door consoles, and on dr eva chase after james hit that ship sheppard is looking at empty area and just stands there where it suppost to be some shooting at eva im on legendary edition othervise not bad
Your best bet is to put in a bug report on NexusMods, but for me it sounds most likely to be that you haven't installed the Community Patch & Framework, or don't have the latest version
We try hard to show and say what the various mods are doing, so can you please elaborate on what you find hard to understand? It could help us with the next showcase to make it easier to understand
@@MassEffectModding Shure. This is what i would do with the video, so it is my oppinion which you may agree and disagree. 1. Introduction. Clicking on "Mod Showcase" a person would expect mods. So the first "EHAS" clip seems to be like a mod (You know, like start with a banger). Person who is not familiar can be confused. To be Frank. I would redo first video, paising a bit off, structure it like more like a real trailer (I used to be a videographer, and worked in video production, so for me it is noticable, may be not so critical to others). Next. EHAS title card. What exactly you want to show with that? usually yo see somth like "brought to you by..." or "presents...", or "from...". Othervise it seems to be that EHAS is a name of the mod that you just showed. And after that we see "Mods showcase" title card. A little bid disconected. In some edits it is even better to switch title cargs with each other. Another thing that could help and guide viever - voice over. If theres no one in your team is ready to do that - just ask community (Im an actor, so i can do it for you next time, or just do it yourself) OR! Continuing Elcor theme you can even use an AI to voice over: "With sencere anticipation: Greetings viewers... etc." 2. Year 2022 review. Frankly I dont understand this segment. Is that just to show what was released? Is there un updates to this mods? Is that all the mods, that were released? If not, why you chouse these mods? This is where voiceover could help. Just put a little clip in the begining "Here are some most notable mods, that were released in 2022... we chose them because... etc." Video clips used for review. You need more info, some examples: "Full weapon recovery" - Were there a problem? What it solves? what "recovery" means in context? You can add a flavor text like " after 'event' you can recover all your weapons' ". Show a split screen for example (if that an option) "Zaeed's wholesome revenge" - I havn't played ME2 since original release, so I, for example dont understand what "wholesome" is added or remade. "Cinematic Zaeed conversation" - same. But from the clip i cant see what "cinematic" is there. standars short/reverce shot. "Keep Horizon Normal" - is it refering to the sky color? Or what? "Immersive Normandy Transmissions" - Watching the clip seems as I remember them. I can go on, but lets move to: 3. 2023 Releases. So the first mod - you show unconnected clips, and then show an explanation (on a bland flash cards, sorry). It would be better to first introduce the mod, then separate them by parts, and show futage of added stuff to compliment (Galaxy map - show galaxy map, 120 mails - scrol through mails. etc.) Am I understand that LE is Legendary Edition? So for Third game mod is ready, for 2 - in "beta" and for 1 - work started? will it end in 2024? What version it will be in 2024? Funny thing - next mod (Omega) do the thing, Title card First, then explanation. But since you introduced LE1-2-3 names It would be good to give a note which part Omega applied to. I know the Omega in second game, but with mods, may be its added to first. "Diversefication progect" - Separate title cards. In the beginning show Title (and which games it applied to would be nice) In the end show version 1.2.5 out now! Next couple of mods from Herobrine could be combined by creator. And shown in a similar matter. "QOL from Herobrine" Also you've forgot to add mod creator name from "Kolyat Training Skip" Just an inconsistency error (you also dont show for some other mods). Next after whole french localisation thing goes strange bit, which goes no where.. Normandy docking. Is this a skit? or part of the mod? Next title card appears. And its "Deversification project" again... Why it is here and not with the main Dever.Proj. presentation? Watching it 5 times now, i guess i understood that you dock to the freighter? Right? What's added with the mod? Voiceover? Actualy, look at "Beyound the Relays" mod. It has quite a good presentation. 4. Future releases. We start with the footage of "Spectre Expansion". Again. Didnt we cover it in the previos part? Is it something new? Since you separated releases by games, what "prototype footage" means? for what game? And after that immedeatly - ME:Galaxy. Is it part of the Spectre mod? If not - why not separate them? Same with Reapers Retrofittings - no idea what it does. And then flashcard again.. no consistancy. We go back to Diversification mod. Ok, ill let this pass since it is a 1.3 version of mod. But i would connect with a previous segment (1.2.5 out now - 1.3 stay tuned) And in the end - TEB 2?.. which shows you do both title cards and flashcards on the side. Which contains a typo... and what "Optional addon" means? is TEB 2 - addon to TEB? or there is oprional addon for TEB2? ... So yeah. Thats not all the things that can be better, but i spend more time than i thought, so I hope it is quite clear what i ment. Have a great day and.. dont let Reapers bite you!
@@DelIsInYourMind Thank you for the expansive reply :) I can't answer everything, but I'll try and explain a few things. We open with a comedic moment each year because N7 Day is treated as a celebration of the hobby ,and it's a bit of fun to get people in the mood for the rest of the showcase. It's what the Elcor team do each year and it's always been well received. We then follow this with a recap of the past year of mod releases for two reasons: 1) it reminds people of mods they might've missed 2) it serves to drum up excitement for what is to come After this we separate the core of the showcase into two categories - N7 Day releases and future releases. N7 Day releases are those mods and mod updates that come out on N7 Day, these are the biggest part of the showcase and it allows us to use all kinds of teasers and trailers to get across our new content. By the time the showcase is over, all the mods featured are available for download so players can get access to them right away. Future releases is a shorter teaser section at the end for content that might not be released for weeks, months or even years after the showcase. This section is intentionally short but sweet, and is there to get people excited for the content they'll get to play someday. This means that you will see some of the same mods here that were shown elsewhere, but the content being revealed isn't being released. We're pretty happy with this format, and so far it's worked really well. You mention how BTR had the kind of thing you expected from a showcase, but the reason they did was because they were introducing a ME mod for another game to an audience that likely hasn't played that game. If we did this for every single mod, it'd stretch into hours and wouldn't really be a showcase, it'd become a documentary.
Sadly, you missed the point (= I have nothing against format. And it works pretty well. And I don't crave for a documentary, just for more informative and understandable presentation. It won't take more time, maybe a minute or so more. But you do you. Best of luck!
@@MassEffectModding For what its worth, I understand @dellsinyourmind and I agree with them. And I also don't think you understand what they were communicating to you.
This is part of a custom track created specifically for the trailer shown, it will be uploaded soon to the Binary Helix channel. Meanwhile you can also enjoy this other track shown in the previous trailer: th-cam.com/video/DysFpYI5XG0/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=BinaryHelix
Everything before the "future teasers" section came out around N7 Day last year. Some of the future teasers are out now (such as the hanar embassy), others aren't.
@@MassEffectModdingsure that ps or even Xbox wouldn't mind it. As long as they were able to make something of them. Which could do each mod or a very low cost & everyone be happy
Wow, that was.... sad. Biggest mod released is not even for Mass Effect but mass effect themed (It looks really great tho). Spectre Expansion and Diversification Project are doing good job but I think that's it from things worth serious annoucement like that.
Yes it's a job well done but nonetheless small compared to some of the bigger mods for other games or overhauls, it's big relative to modlets (I think it sounds better than micromods or nanomods) like changing few skins, adding few interactions, chaning some dialogues from free roam to cinematic camera etc. , which were most of presented mods@@auberginemanproductions1608

Really glad to hear that, we love doing the comedic introduction and ending for these videos, they always give us a laugh as we're making them
Damn I love this community
Thank you!
I agree, but it would be a massive challenge to combine the two mods.
The endless passion the fans have for this trilogy never fails to amaze me! EA are complete clowns for not catering to this wonderful community of passionate sci fi geeks more, who only want more of this incredible universe. EA doesn’t deserve them or Mass Effect.
it's time to restart a new ME playthrough
21:04 The REAL Suicide Squad. Conrad Verner is the best romance. Don't even @ me.
Better than biowares n7 day for sure
YOU ROCK!!!
I just finished LE2 and now on postgame, about to start arrival....
I'm having trouble deciding if I'm going back to LE1 or continue to 3. Lol.
Continue to 3 and then return to LE1 after. Let the cycle of playthroughs continue!
Ever noticed how Turian Blue Suns have armor of a darker shade of blue?
Important question: are all the presented mods compatible with each other? Or should compatibility be checked by independent testing?
Would you like to know about compatibility with different localizations?
Almost all are, and if they aren't directly then they will have patches.
@@MassEffectModdingThank you.
Ugh I wish there were more mods for Andromeda to improve it some more with more missions and make the planets even more engaging like they have done with the Trilogy.
Mass effect trilogy: *No Mod Support*
Mass Effect Community: "And I took that personally"
I swear these gorgeous bastards will end up making a whole new game
All games that lack mod support should be taken personally :D, it can be a wonderful hobby
this is awesome and all, love this modding community, but i find strange how still no one improved the ME3 walking/running cycle animations of Shepard, both exploration and combat, which is probably one of the worst player animations in AAA gaming due to the rush in game development that ME3 had, thanks EA.
We have almost every kinda of mods but not that one, which is probably one of the most needed due to how distracting the vanilla one is, i guess its impossible to mod player animations? that would explain
Pretty sure I saw a mod before that opted to replace it with ME1's before. Or maybe I'm dreaming.
There is a mod that replaces the walking cycle in ME2 and ME3 with the ME1 cycle
@@patrickschulz2193 yeah most people prefer to mod useless stuff in games like hairs and casual clothes, i know that
Oh my god I forgot it was N7 day!
I wish mods were on series X.
this is 100 times better than the garbage bioware showed today
We do our best!
I NEED Conrad Verner as a companion
The hero we needed!
Why couldn't the authors of the mass effect legendary edition somehow collaborate with the modders to bring in content from the mods to release a truly incredible remaster?
They did stay in contact with a couple modders so that a lot of files would be included that are essential to modding, I believe
@@auberginemanproductions1608 You are correct, though they did this quite late in development. It meant modders were able to ensure we could mod the game, but sadly it meant that modders couldn't provide them with a comprehensive list of issues from OT to fix before release.
So are the Mechs and Elcor soldiers gonna be added to the Tuchanka bomb mission or were those cutscenes for a Mod original mission?
From the Spectre Expansion Mod video? That was just to match a war asset image from the mod :)
will take back earth 2 be an update of tbe or a seperate mod to go along side it
We're still debating exactly how it'll release, but it'll effectively act as a submod expansion to Take Earth Back. That way we can make changes to the core mod without adding content some people might not want.
Gonna have to get me a gaming PC
Definitely!
Hacket and Anderson should have N7s guarding Them. I mean recognizable N7. They have a lot to pick from.
By recognisable N7s, do you mean characters or armour sets?
@@MassEffectModding N7 Marines, wearing N7 armor.
Is it possible to follow the progress of mass effect galaxy development somewhere?
It's being developed privately, so I'm afraid not
3:22 what mod is that? It's clearly the Tuchanka bomb mission start, but there are security mechs and an elcor.
Spectre Expansion Mod
I've never modded Mass Effect so I have to find some guide first, and all these mods looks so incredible but can they be installed at once?
yes, just make sure to install texture mods last
Aaaand I'm still waiting for a mod which allows to wear Blue Suns Armor WITH A HELMET..
I'm sure one will get made eventually
I love mass effect, but dang its hard sometimes to understand from the showcase what it actually does.
Continuing Elcor theme you can even use an AI to voice over: "With sencere anticipation: Greetings viewers... etc."
2. Year 2022 review. Frankly I dont understand this segment. Is that just to show what was released? Is there un updates to this mods? Is that all the mods, that were released? If not, why you chouse these mods? This is where voiceover could help. Just put a little clip in the begining "Here are some most notable mods, that were released in 2022... we chose them because... etc."
Video clips used for review.
You need more info, some examples:
"Full weapon recovery" - Were there a problem? What it solves? what "recovery" means in context? You can add a flavor text like " after 'event' you can recover all your weapons' ". Show a split screen for example (if that an option)
"Zaeed's wholesome revenge" - I havn't played ME2 since original release, so I, for example dont understand what "wholesome" is added or remade.
I can go on, but lets move to:
3. 2023 Releases.
But i would connect with a previous segment (1.2.5 out now - 1.3 stay tuned)
And in the end - TEB 2?.. which shows you do both title cards and flashcards on the side.
@@DelIsInYourMind Thank you for the expansive reply :)
I can't answer everything, but I'll try and explain a few things. We open with a comedic moment each year because N7 Day is treated as a celebration of the hobby ,and it's a bit of fun to get people in the mood for the rest of the showcase. It's what the Elcor team do each year and it's always been well received. We then follow this with a recap of the past year of mod releases for two reasons:
1) it reminds people of mods they might've missed
2) it serves to drum up excitement for what is to come
After this we separate the core of the showcase into two categories - N7 Day releases and future releases.
Sadly, you missed the point (=
I have nothing against format.
What is music play on 14:45 ?
This is part of a custom track created specifically for the trailer shown, it will be uploaded soon to the Binary Helix channel. Meanwhile you can also enjoy this other track shown in the previous trailer: th-cam.com/video/DysFpYI5XG0/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=BinaryHelix
It's impressive that BTR make special music for trailers
I’m confused is this all out to play or not I seen out now then I seen 2024
Everything before the "future teasers" section came out around N7 Day last year. Some of the future teasers are out now (such as the hanar embassy), others aren't.
To bad they can't put the mods onto console. Some of the mods would be pretty to add on. Plus then could make some cannon with the entire saga.
It is a shame
@@MassEffectModdingsure that ps or even Xbox wouldn't mind it. As long as they were able to make something of them. Which could do each mod or a very low cost & everyone be happy
Are these mods for the LE or original versions of the games?
All mods except Beyond the Relays are for Legendary Edition
can I download everything all at once
I'm afraid not. You'll need to seek out the mods you want individually
Please I want mod support for console like come on don't leave us in the dark without mods to mess around and have fun with
wish i didnt nee ea app to play these games
It's a pain! Imagine how much we suffer with it during modding :D
Gives an excuse to replay the trilogy. Now if there was only a mod that untied the game from EA Play.
If only
Wow, that was.... sad. Biggest mod released is not even for Mass Effect but mass effect themed (It looks really great tho). Spectre Expansion and Diversification Project are doing good job but I think that's it from things worth serious annoucement like that.
you weren't impressed by Hot Labs Restored?
It' seems like a cool mod but relatively small @@mirsolis4992
Hot Labs Restored is literally an entire level restoration
Yes it's a job well done but nonetheless small compared to some of the bigger mods for other games or overhauls, it's big relative to modlets (I think it sounds better than micromods or nanomods) like changing few skins, adding few interactions, chaning some dialogues from free roam to cinematic camera etc. , which were most of presented mods@@auberginemanproductions1608
Yeah, I think that's really cool so I'm surprised the OP is saying the video was disappointing. HLR is a big accomplishment especially from a single modder, I'm excited to download it.

Not yet, it is gradually progressing, but the mod developer was working hard to get some of his other mods finished first before returning to it.
