Played all the 4 Mass Effect games over the years and here i go again with the Legendary edition. I just wonder what it is in these games who always caught me to continue playing.

Thanks for the another great video, Austin. Are you planning to make one on Ninja Gaiden Master Collection? I'm hearing a lot of conflicting reports on the remaster, really want to finally set things straight and understand if there are any serious differences between PS3 versions and Master Collection.
After playing the LE version of ME1, I'll never go back to the original. That game always felt like a chore to play, but LE has made it tolerable. My biggest issue was with those little hacking puzzles, the original never gave you enough time to press the corresponding buttons and would lock you out before you even realized what happened.
I just played the game . There is a object find in the game that slowed down the puzzle 50%. Only for the connect the dots hack not the scroll down hack .
Funny thing is I started with Mass Effect 2 and don’t regret it starting with that one on Xbox 360 when it was time exclusive. I just played the legendary edition on PC and it was really good just didn’t do any of the side missions which I heard isn’t much and exploring other planets might do it on the PS5 since I bought this legendary edition twice.
It's a shame there are still some 2 issues, like human asari hand in Citadel and non remaster images in the Normandy crash. Seems 2 was a little lazy. I know these are just superficial but it shows a lack of care.
That's nuts. The Ps5 has a choice of 2160p/60fps or 1440p/60fps. Who in their right mind wants lower resolution without gaining frame rate ? Usually the choice is 2160p/30 or 1440/60 . That's when I chose 60fps mode .

Obviously the only doubt there could be is between the original PC version (modded, with MEUITM, ALOT, SilentpatchME, MERLIN, expanded character creator, faster elevators, flawless widescreen, and optionally the femshep appearance consistency project and specialK for real HDR support) and LE. And then you could have shown all the supposedly subjective differences. Also, you are putting up total FUD with the dlc. You can still purchase everything from origin (even for the retail and steam versions), in comfy bundles. The digital deluxe bundles are just a scam, and stuff on steam is a crack (justifiable if you ask me considering bioware/ea are so greedy to ask more for the DLCs of a single game than for the entire trilogy together, though I waited 10 years before finally purchasing them on sale and playing them).
3:02 ‘casted’ is not a word. At least not in the way you used it to describe shadows. ‘Casted’: adjective. having or belonging to a caste. Instead use 'cast' or 'casts' when referring to light/shadows etc.
X360 is in my opinion best version to play on Xbox Series X or PC version with MERLIN mod that restore some of missing effect and in general fixes 2008 PC port that is know of being build from unfinished X360 version instead of final X360 version. I really dont recommend Legendary Edition sure it have better textures but in general it looks worse than original especially everything related to lighting, visual storytelling is ruined because of this, lighting looks flat, all hand made lighting stuff in cutscenes dont exist anymore on top of that atmosphere of ME1 was ruined ME1 art style is tribute to 70 and 80s scfi movies while Legendary looks like generic UE3 game from X360.
I only played ME3 for the multiplayer. I spent many many hours on that and never even did the tutorial on single player. It was buggy and clunky at times but still loads of fun doing gold and platinum runs with friends.
Fortunately mods exist. It's kinda wacky albeit that's part of the character's arc as well. Funnily enough the guy who made the same mod to recreate removal of those camera shots in the original made one to bring em back in LE.
There's something seriously wrong with your PS3. A friend and I played through the trilogy recently on PS3 and noticed improved performance over the Xbox 360. Also, didn't have any screen tearing or frame drops like you have here.

It's a shame they did nothing for the distracting clipping issues/animations. An engine problem, I guess ?

There's something seriously wrong with your PS3. A friend and I played through the trilogy recently on PS3 and noticed improved performance over the Xbox 360. Also, didn't have any screen tearing or frame drops like you have here.
Maybe there was an update later on that fixed these issues and he's playing a non-updated copy?
I play all mass effect's in ps3 and I can assure you that 1 suffers from low fps and 3 only slightly (2 was quite stable)
