Most of the computer games have positive impact on children, provided that they are informative and teach something new to them. Although these games consume whole lot of time, they can be beneficial by curbing the screen time.
Although I was introduced to E2 IELTS very late, that did not stop me from securing 8 in IELTS writing.

Even though computer games can impact on children's lives positively, there are still some negative aspects of it that should not be ignored.
Using Subordinate clauses:
In order to use computer games in a productive manner, certain measures need to be taken. Kids should be monitored by parents during their usage, rather than leaving them on their own. Parents should also buy age specific games for their children, so that they don’t get indulged in illegal activities like crime and war.

A lot of people believe computer games have a negative impact on children while others think it’s the perfect way to relieve stress.
Personally I think computer games have a positive impact on children as it keeps them busy and away from trouble. Gaming actually increases a child’s hand eye co-ordination which improves their abilities in sports like basketball, volleyball and baseball. Contrary to popular belief, computer games require a lot of focus and challenges a child’s thinking capacity which may reflect on a his/her academic performance. Although video games can be addictive, parents must create a balance in order to manage gaming time along with order activities.

Hey all, I wanted to share a very important experience with you all so that it can alert and help everyone! I recently gave the IELTS test and received L9 R7.5 W6.5 S8.5, thanks to E2 youtube videos. The whole and sole reason for not getting a better band in Writing was that I missed a part of the question that asked to write experiences for each point in the essay. Due to less time, I didn't read the last line of the Writing Part 2 which said, 'Write 250 words and write experiences for your opinions'. Had I done that, I would have scored a lot better! So please, pretty please, READ THE ENTIRE QUESTION!
Update: I gave IELTS again and scored L8.5 R8.0 W7.0 S8.5 this time! Thanks, E2!

Now a days children are more exposed to screen time. Because exposure to computer games can have serious hazards on health, their usage should be limited. In the past, there used to be a misconception in parents mind that video games had negative impact on children, although that is changing now thanks to interactive and stimulating games that help sharpen children's brain. However, proper monitoring will still be required to control the amount of time children spend on the devices such that it won't affect their health.

There are both advantages and disadvantages of computer games on children. However, the downsides outweigh the upsides because of effects on their cognitive abilities, eyesight as well as social skills. While studies have revealed that children who play video games develop certain attributes like patience and discipline, it is important for their usage to be monitored.
My answer to the practice you gave me: Computer games may have positive and negative impacts on our children as well. If strategic games to be played under supervision for limited time, these may expand their mind and ways of thinking. Whereas spending more time in front of screen with more violent containing games, these may cause more health and mind issues. (Please correct for me the above sentences.)
