I just watched the video for the second time! Thank-you Nancy. I have said I wish my friends would give me a little competition when we go to quilt shops! I have so much Sherri and Chelsea fabrics🥰
What a sweet woman! Thank you, Sherri, for having her join you. This was fun! I am going to have to try her trick with the Magic spray! I also have a stiletto and a stripology ruler which I have never used since I've purchased either. Which has been almost 3 years of quilting.
What a great interview. Nancy said so many things that are exactly how I feel. It was a bit like having my morning coffee with a couple of friends as aI watched this!
I agree with all the other comments, this was a GREAT episode!!! Loved the conversation with Nancy and watching her eyes twinkle as she talked about her quilting!
What a wonderful show! What a great woman she is and what a great path she has taken. It was nice to hear how she organizes her day. Sometimes I waste so much time on other things. I would have loved to hear what their guild does too! It was wonderful to listen to her talk about all she has done with so much joy. It did feel like a great conversation that you don't want to end. Thanks for inviting her to your podcast and can't wait to hear about your trip to Quilt Market.
Such a treat to hear this! I especially loved to hear the story of how Nancy started sewing. I too began my sewing journey at my small town Singer sewing store classes. I have to think there were lots of back in the day. So intrigued by that wool pressing bar too. I definitely need to get one.
That was a wonderful conversation between two sewing friends. You both seemed like old friends. Thank you. I liked her thought of slow down & enjoy the process.
I absolutely loved the conversation that you had with Nancy. I do all of her tips except for using the seam pressing block which I will have to put on my list. My stiletto is always next to my sewing room. 😊
What a sweet soul, her joy of quilting gives her a glow. Such an inspirational interview and I can see why you wanted to share her with others. Sherri I feel you have the same sweet spirit and give so much to the quilting community. Thank you for all the content you share.
Absolutely loved this conversation you had with Nancy. She was so sweet and I loved hearing her advise on so many topics. I’m now following her on Instagram and can’t wait to visit all her posts. But of course, I’m always interested in what you and Chelsi are doing and everything you share. Thanks, Nancy Columbus NM
Thank you for introducing me to Nancy Lane! Not only does she seem like someone I would like to have as a friend, but her tips she shared were awesome! I now am following her on Instagram and will be watching for her in the future!
I’m so glad Nancy has been part of your podcast. She is a gem for the quilting community. I enjoyed this interview so much. You and Chelsie are a treasure. Have watched all of the podcasts you have made. Thank you for all you do.
This was a wonderful conversation. Reallly enjoyed Nancy Lane. SO looking forward to your post-quilt market episode and hearing what Billy thought of it!
I love the piecing process as well. I actually am to the point that I set more block precision goals for myself. I find so much joy in accuracy, weird I know. I love it!
Thank you Sherri, Nancy and Billy. I also share the love of quilting and really enjoyed this interview We have much in common and I have learned so much from your TH-cam episodes. ❤❤❤
What a joyful conversation, the joy that you and Nancy shared made me smile and the enthusiasm you both shared made me enthusiastic to get to my quilting studio and quilt! Thanks so much for sharing this with your quilting community. I love your interactions with Chelsi and Billy but it is also so much fun when you share conversations like you did today. Thanks take care and have a beautiful day!
Thank you for one of the best conversations you have ever had on a podcast, Sherri! It was so informative and enjoyable!❤ I folded laundry and did things while I was listening this morning and kept watching like while I was doing this and it was such a pleasant podcast. I had things I wanted to ask her myself, but couldn’t. I’ll check and see if you listed how to get in touch with her, but I’d love to be able to contact her myself once again thank you and look forward to many more like today.! ❤😊
Great conversation! I use my seam ripper like a stiletto at my machine and use a glue stick to keep corner squares or flying geese in place. They have improved my piecing accuracy. Great tips!
I loved this conversation. Thank you. I keep a list also. And, I find that I use my seam ripper as a stiletto. Maybe I’ll get that stiletto out again. But I need to sand one side a bit flat so that it doesn’t roll away from me when I set it down. ❤
You mention another type of quilting spray from Magic. What is it so I can look for it. What a great interview! Loved it as I love all your podcasts. Thanks for all you do to help others along our quilting journies. Thanks so much! Melanie from Oregon
My stilleto and scissors are at my machine also. When we sew two pieces of fabric together, we will stop guiding it right before the end and cause the the stitching to veer off a bit. It causes the corners to be off when joining to other blocks.
I’d love to hear Nancy’s thoughts on the current Halloween meet n greet costumes that the Disneyland main characters are wearing this season. They are all quilt inspired! (I recreated them as costumes for my family).
What a delightful lady! This was a very enjoyable interview/conversation that you should repeat once in awhile.
This is my favorite of all the "conversations" you have had with sewists! Nancy was a delight to listen to. Thank you for introducing Nancy to us.

TY for this interesting convo.
I love that quilting spray! It works great and doesn't make me cough as other sprays do. I use it with one of those misting bottles.
Wonderful podcast. Thank you 😊

Thanks for the your stripology rulers
Reminder. I own one but use infrequently
I use the acorn glue when I’m trying to get done fast.so helpful when I’m making more than one quilt at a time.
Fun and interesting conversation.
I enjoyed the podcast . Looking at her quilts it seems similar to your style. Good question Billy.

Looks to me like she's been heavily influenced by Lori Holt as well! Beautiful work!
This was great. I'm a beginner quilter and learning so much. I'd love to know what sewing machine brand she uses.
Hi Susan, I sew on a Babylock Altair and a Bernina 440. Happy Quilting!
More info on the spray y’all talked about? I so enjoyed this chat session-thanks!
Does Magic Quilting and Crafting spray shrink your fabric like starch does?
Hi Nancy, Yes, the fabric does shrink when you use this fabric spray. Happy Quilting!
Great interview! Would like to know the quilt pattern hanging on Nancy’s door.
What spray product are you discussing?
