Yes there are tons of fish in the water where the rice paddle is. When i was young, my favorite fishing spot was my family rice paddle on our backyard just like what in this video. Imagine this, when the rice is reach its heights and the wind happen to blowing, i am telling you the scene is priceless.... That's the only thing i missed as a kid growing up and now i'm in Dallas...
Hi guy's, my name is Lester from Los Angeles, Ca.....I have been looking at your youtube videos and interesting Asian tour from Hong Kong and Japan visits and now you guys are in Viet Nam....you have to explore and indulge in their country's food. So try the most famous noodle dishes just don't go to Exotic and eat the Bugs and Snake dishes and you will be O.K. because they will blow your mind and scare the daylights out of you!!! Just be careful where you travel and if you don't see too many tourists visiting those places don't stray too far off the left or you will be surprised at their living lifestyle!!!
HOW are you looking like that after climbing all those steps? That mountain damn near killed me. I sat down... a lot. I gave up 10x... I cried. When I FINALLY made it to the top it took 30 min for my face not to be blood red and to return my breathing and heartbeat to normal. My pics up there look like I survived the apocalypse and your just chilling. Life is SO UNFAIR! 😉😂

I totally agree it is massively underrated. It's not on Sinh tourist bus pass and many itineraries skip it. They must be insane. Such a beautiful place - I think I enjoyed it more than actual Halong bay. By the way, that pond at the base of the temple mountain was full of water lilies - you went at the wrong time.
I think it would be a shame not to go on the Trang An boats. They take you on a circular tour through numerous caves. There are boats selling things but you are not forced to buy and the guide/rower might get a little grumpy if you don't tip. It is well policed and safer than many tourist activities in Vietnam. My inlaws still live in Ninh Binh
You two make every single spot in the world look like a “must experience” with your videos. Your photography and editing is really at the top of the game and I love that it’s so “professional” while at the same time being so natural and approachable. The view from your lodging was phenomenal and the drone shots from the top of the 500 steps was....wow. Just wow. That dragon is something else! I love your adventures! I know the skirt was dangerous, but the photo is amazing. The contrast of the scarlet against the jade green of the jungle makes for a lovely jewel of a lady in a beautiful setting.

This airbnb location is gorgeous!! The fact that where you're staying is separate from where you get your breakfast REALLY reminds me of my stay in Italy! (breakfast was included for us, but we paid for dinner- great prices!) I love that you have to walk a good distance before reaching the spot. It looks so serene and lovely. I'd totally love to stay there. I love that you guys don't insult the food. It's really refreshing to see people like you, respectful and open-minded definitely. It's pretty common to have pho for breakfast, my aunt mentioned when she went back to Vietnam they had it everyday! It can be very light but also fueling for a long day. - interesting!! that you chose to bring your own milk ~ you can def make iced Vietnamese coffee with the condensed milk. Are you just not a fan of sweet in your coffee? 7:29, that is a very beautiful view and dragon, now that I've seen it. I don't need to see it in person haha. I am so bad with heights and hiking! I did the most toughest hike for Cinque Terre and it only took 2 hours, but I kid you not, it felt like 2 days! I also made a horrible decision of not bringing my inhaler. YUM the food you got looked delicious. At 9:51 this dish really reminded me of the Vietnamese soup "Canh Chua Ga," but like a diff variety of it. (obviously because you're not having the soup haha). I am really enjoying how you shot the videos and inserted photographs! Your cinematography is amazing. Thanks for sharing!

We were in Ninh Binh in 2013 - such a stunning area! Sounds like Google maps hasn't lifted its game since we were there - we got hopelessly lost trying to find our accommodation. Thankfully some locals showed us the way, but not before we were run off the road on our scooter!
Because you came earlier so it was more crowded. If you had come really early, it would have been even more crowded. Vietnamese people wake up earlier and we try to stay away from the sun 🌞
OMG guys, digging the intro on this one! We have heard about Ninh Binh and really wanted to visit the last time we were there, but just didn't have a chance. We went to Halong Bay and although it was AMAZING to see, it was REALLY touristy... It looks like you guys are getting a more authentic Vietnam experience 😄 noodles for breakfast looks YUM to!

Cover Hanoi, Ninh Binh, 2d1n Halong Bay Now that i was checking the weather forecast of these places during our stay ,we found mostly rainy with 70-90% precipitation. Now i am really afraid about our trip,will be really greatful if someone can help.

In Vietnam, eating PHO for breakfast is normal. I regularly ate it for breakfast and had cafe fin on the side when I was in Nam before 1975.
