    Love to watch you cook and all your videos and you are my # 1 Go-To resource on the Ninja Foodie, but for Crab Rangoon -- I must say, there is NOTHING like deep fried rangoon and if you use the right oil and the right temp and drain them on a wire rack, they retain almost no oil. I did 1:1 cream cheese to im. crab and I didn't taste the cream cheese at all. Don't get me wrong they were delicious, I snack on imitation crab sticks all the time. Just makes me realize the ones from the chinese places are basically 95% cream cheese! Next time tho I am going to try 2:1 cream cheese:crab. Oh store bought sweet and sour is nasty, so heavy! Will make your homemade pinapple version next time.Thanks! I will definitely work on perfecting this, normally after eating take out rangoon I feel ill after from all the grease. I don't buy any specific brand. I mostly get clothes from Walmart and Kohl's.

    hoping you have a suggestion for making these vegetarian - my son in law is vegetarian and think he would love these

      I would just leave out the seafood or try finely chopped hearts of palm or artichoke. That might give the added texture.

    Have you ever done crab cakes with a Ninja Foodi? Good grab cakes are SO hard to find! If you haven't I would love to see you do it.

      I'm from Maryland and I would LOVE to do a crab cake recipe, but I can't find quality crab meat. in TN. This summer I am going to try to have some shipped to me from MD.

    Can I ask what's the deal with the oil spritzing? What happens if you don't use oil spritz? I just found you thanks.

    Hey Salted Pepper can use chicken for this recipe? If so do we need to change any thing from your recipe?
    Thank you

    • @TheSaltedPepper

      You mean stuff the wontons with chicken and cream cheese? As long as the chicken is cooked and shredded, it should be fine.

    If you wanted to add garlic would you use fresh or powdered?

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would either lightly sauté and cool fresh garlic or use powdered. If raw garlic is used, it won't really cook inside the rangoon and could be very pungent and even bitter.
