considering i did a B swap with a lot of extras in about 5-6 hours solo with quite a few smoke/food breaks its easily possible. IF you know exactly what you're doin and this would take considerably more skill vs the simple R&R job i did.
Mario Sanchez it's not like a put a fucking v8 in it, hes running the same blood engine my guy he probably running mostly stock and if not he probably already had the shit running with his B motor making it very irrelevant to this particular swap, you know just enough to look dumb and it's got me laughing my ass off lol
Just imagine taking out the stock engine, and putting it back in. Then imagine taking out the stock engine, and putting in a K20, same process essentially, it's basically the same engine

Dawg they are spinning the bit too fast! Gotta let the bit do its job, old machinist told me the longer the shavings are the better, a sign of you going the correct speed for the bit to cut the best. Which is better for the bit than grinding on metal and not cutting it. Simple physics
This is literally the same thing I did with my H23a Vtec swap. The shifter just goes above not below the frame. I have a full H series swap in my EJ. I always thought it was more complicated than this to swap a K
I think it’s just when it comes to the wiring it becomes a headache of what goes where and how comfortable you are with touching cars . But most of the hard part is collecting the parts .

Mine is going to take a bit, going to respray the entire shell and bay so it will be a while for my swap. I’m also going with a tucked harness and sound deadening the firewall and the rest of the car, Already have all of my suspension components installed so that part is finished. Now it’s time to pull the engine, can’t wait.

How fast is a hatchback w/ a stock K24A swapped in outside a few minor bolt ons? I was kind of thinking of buying a mid 2000s Civic, maybe an 04-05 Ex with a sunroof and then swapping a JDM K24A 200HP TSX engine w/ a 6spd manual and putting a small turbo on it running low boost @ 7-8PSI on a stock motor as a daily driver. Have it tuned up with a Hondata ECU, lower it on rims and coilovers and throw newer Civic Si seats in it, possibly recaro buckets whatever I can get the best deal on.
when you did this did you use like a jack spania or universal harness? also what did you connect the fans to? the factory harness or did you wire them in seperate?

Too much information is missing . such as what fuel lines you ran size. Fuel pressure regulator ecu and program what axels etc..

Use a punch first and some wd40 to keep it cool and keep the speed low and slow don't apply so much pressure pretty simple with patiants

Having a nozzle cup on your welding lead will help with your welds.. it helps with the gas and keeping the atmosphere around the weld.

They look like hasport mounts and yes the other two are bolt on. Everything is bolt on nowadays for k series swap except passenger mount.

good way to get off spot welds is a belt sander, thats what all the techs use at my dads shop
Easiest Honda chassis to do k24 swap in? Have small budget. Plan to daily it until I die , or can't drive stick anymore due to back issues with age.
