Loved the vid. For the record, you stating honestly that you do not have affiliate links, THAT is what made me think "smash the like / sub button". Thank you for the great content that appears to come straight from your audio heart !

Thanks, I'm glad you like the video, generally if I'm turning out in a voice acting gig this is the only thing I would put on it, a lot of the time they don't really want you to edit anything but I think they would appreciate receiving a recording without a bunch of mouth clicks that sounds nice and clean so this is about the only thing I would run on a actual voiceover recording, generally they want their phone engineers to do the editing, When it comes to my gaming channel I usually run this thing a compressor and a limiter and that's about it, if I hear any nasty resonating for Quincy's then I might use an EQ to find and cut that out really quick but generally This does most of the work I need
Just kind of run the compressor to make sure if I'm gaming and I start yelling or something it doesn't blow out my listeners eardrums and then I use a limiter to push myself up to the volume I want but I think less is more on editing most of the time,
You shouldn't have to do much to a recording except for a few basic things in my opinion but this is great for just cleaning up the sound of the recording. But even if I did have an affiliate link I would still be honest, reviews are supposed to help the viewer decide of something is worth their time so if you're not being honest that's a bad reviewer right there. Anyways thanks and I hope you're having a great day

Oh wow all that clicking and noise under the solo to listen would be cool noise to use on UK garage and ambient tracks 😯

Those noises can gross people out so i don't think you would want to use them for anything lol, When speaking, if these noises are noticeable i bet most people will be like this is gross and maybe even leave your video. if your having a bad mouth noise day being able to remove them is awesome..

Whenever I use it my voice loses a good bit of clarity and it sounds a bit more muffled. Am I doing something wrong?

There are several different settings on this, if you have a lot of reverb or if you have a lot of background noise that plug-in is going to have to work extremely hard to get rid of it well it's trying to figure out which parts your voice and which parts the one that stuff so sometimes if there's too much noise or too much reverb and you're really cranking those up it can possibly start the degrade the audio quality a bit, plugins like this are really design just to get rid of your computer fans in the background or that last little bit of reverb. And generally they will do a very good job when there's only a little bit but if you're trying to get rid of a lot of background noise and reverb that's where things might start to change a little bit, now on the RX-10 repair assistance it would destroy your audio so fast it wasn't even funny even if you had just a tiny bit of background noise it was probably better not to use the reaver remover or background remover at all of course if you have the Deesserr set too strong that'll make your voice sound messed up, if you're using DD clipper that can make your voice sound messed up if that set wrong, there's just a lot of things going on with this plugin and I don't know exactly how you have it set up but if you don't have like an extreme amount of background noise or a lot of reverb it should be able to do the job very well without really degrading the audio quality. Elsa don't know which digital to audio workstation you're using I guess there is a possibility it may not like your digital to audio workstation so if you happen to have more than one of those maybe try it on another one but it's kind of hard to troubleshoot stuff when you're not really there to see what's going on

@@airtime23 You're welcome, I hope you get it sounding the way you would like, I'm not sure if you purchased it or you just have the current demo but you might even want to contact the company and be like hey this is my problem I'm using it on this digital to audio workstation and see if they have anything to say. Generally if you're using other plugins along with this, I would say make sure this was the first plug-in, I haven't tried to use this as my last plugin but generally something like this would want to run before you start adding all the compression and EQ and everything else, I don't know if that could be any help or not but that's something I just thought of

I don’t know how you people also say RX 11 is so amazing. I have it for the first time. I really need to repair distortion in the entire mix for a second no matter what I do, I can never get it to work like you all do
Support they never give me any clear answers
waste of money and time. It’s just mind-boggling how you all can make this thing work. I can’t make the dclip work if I use the editor and I even do the learning process I hit render next thing I know it’s destroying the wave file down to nothing and all your hear is this garbling sound or render thinking I did something and I don’t hear any change. It’s just I can’t stand this product and I wasted too much money.

I would normally always suggest trying out a demo of a plugin before purchasing it, now here's the thing, this is an excellent restoration plugin but these are really made for fixing minor or moderate issue, if you have a horrendous amount of background noise or a horrendous amount of clipping I think any plugin like this is going to struggle. Now I've intentionally made a couple of boys and a couple of recordings of a guitar clip to the point where it was quite apparent that it was clipping and this was able to take care of it. I'm not sure how bad the clipping was on your track but if you're trying the repair assistant and that's not working see if the package you purchased came with the standalone d clip plugin and see if that works any better. If you got a standalone with it it's probably going to have a lot more controls where you manually adjust The settings which may or may not be able to do a better job but I would definitely look and see and give that a try if you have a standalone d clip. . I bet somebody has a good tutorial on the actual d clip standalone part of this that you might want to look for. And you can always check and see if they have a return policy, if you bought this and it's just not working out for you a lot of times it will give you like a 10-day or 15 day or 30 days trial, some companies join some won't. But there was one or two plugins I bought in the past that just didn't work out for me and at that point I learned all right always get the demo first. Like I said I don't know how bad you're clipping is but I would definitely keep playing around with it and see if you can find maybe a really in-depth tutorial on the d clip, if you have the standalone d clip plugin
