Seafoam?! I bought a Kawasaki EX250 that would not idle. I put in fresh fuel with a dose of Seafoam. It started with starter fluid. I kept running it and dropping the revs. I kept the starter fluid handy in case the lower revs needed a boost. In 15 minutes the baby Ninja was back to normal.
What you did was pulled bad gas through, and sure thing, once that bad gas was through and any debris laying around pulled through she ran better. But unfortunately, there is no such thing as a mechanic in a can. If the gas dried up enough to solidify in the jets, seafoam isn't going to do it.
