Honestly man this was just a great video overall, awesome mod and very nice execution but the video itself was genuinely really well put together & entertaining. Massive massive kudos!
Might be the best video I’ve seen with someone changing a headliner color. Nice work my guy! I plan on changing my headliner in my Toyota from beige to black
The black angel eye headlights would look amazing on this car. Brilliant job with the interior and the channel as a whole. It's just got better and better 👏👏
@@MendItModIt oh definitely dude !!! you helped me out loads, as didn't know where to go. Just gotta get my fabric tomo and then yeah back in it all goes. Thank you once again !! Loving the content also dude 🤙

i honestly thought you were going to struggle refitting these, due the the thickness of the fabric after you wrapped them around the edges. - But you just got it in their!! so nice mate
Yess mate looks sick 👌 wanted to do this for a while on mine but not got round to it yet. Glad you retrimmed the headliner as looks way better than the dying method. Awsome job again boiii 👍
Thanks bro! 🤜🏻🤛🏻 you should definitely do it, makes the interior such a nice place to be. I’m gassed about how well the pattern on the fabric matches the visors too! 🤩
Ah, that's how you do it! You are like a TV chef where all the work is being done in the background by someone else Got to get me one of those, or train the one I have I guess
I’m not putting all the chef’s gear on again 😂😂 oh it’s not a case of training, it’s a mutual agreement. As well as an amateur mechanic I’m also so a painter and decorator, plumber, builder, chauffeur and beauty therapist 😂 think of it as a trade deal 😂😂
Painting fabric wouldn’t look anywhere near as nice though and would probably be less durable 🤷🏻♂️ and finding a paint match for the plastic pillars and trims might be difficult 🤔
Doing this myself more than once and gathering all the correct information from the internet alone is not easy. I’m 2 mins into the video, love to check comments they usually even correct the author. Without knowing, if you upholstered the sun panels, I think that’s the real way to go. Getting confident to paint the plastics, probably using acetone instead of sanding and SEM cans. Have the spray gun but not worth the extra time.
This was a video I'd not watched until now because it's not something I'm planning on doing. But super impressed by how it turned out. How's it holding up any signs of the contact adhesive coming loose?
great job man. its something i may consider in the future. Kudos for doing yourself. I think il let a re trimmers trim mine though as dont want to mess it up, which me doing car DIY has tought me to just pay someone to do it is best haha
How have the B pillars held up against the seatbelt rubbing on the fabric, I've got my headlining and A pillars done but not sure how well the B pillars will hold against the constant rubbing from the belt? Cheers
@@nou-fg8wq paint won’t last 5 minutes and would look shit on the pillars I reckon. Could get the pillars done professionally but I wouldn’t, I’ll just have another go some time in the future
@@nou-fg8wq that’s what I’d do on the pillars, or get foam and fabric separately, it’s hard to shape the fabric to the contours of the pillars properly when the foam is part of the fabric. No worries mate, good luck 👍🏻
The interior looks so good now! Made a real difference! The channel keeps going from strength to strength!
Thanks mate, onward and upwards 🙌🏻
That looks so much better than the dodgy suede/alcantara people use! Proper OEM job!
Can’t imagine how much re-trimming an entire headliner would cost with alcantara, or how you’d even get hold of the real stuff 💸

Above and beyond as always, seeing what others had done and then improving. Looks great!!

Woohoo new upload time
Were you waiting patiently for it?
Super job bud
Thanks mate, some of those pillars were a struggle
how did the paint not come of after u painted it, because when i painted my interior it all peeled off eventually
Probably because you didn’t sand it down first
Great job mate!
Top job well done fella 👍
Thanks mate, I hope it holds 😂😂
Awesome man!
Good job man
Personally I would of just used a couple cans of dupli color vinyl & fabric paint. Would be easier and quicker to do

Question , where did you get the fabric from ?
Sure, here iWhat type of adhesive did you use to attach the roof lining to the roof?

You need to just dive in and give it a go man, it’s so much cheaper and the sense of achievement you get from doing it yourself is definitely worth it
How much fabric did u purchase to do all of it
can you tell some more about fitting the passenger handle? I couldn't fit it.
How have the B pillars held up against the seatbelt rubbing on the fabric, I've got my headlining and A pillars done but not sure how well the B pillars will hold against the constant rubbing from the belt? Cheers
They’ve held up fine, better than the glue has 😂 maybe put some rubber edging around the hole?
Do you have a link were you got the black foam from??
what material was the headliner
Looks really good 👍... what’s the fabric called and where you get it from ??
Thank you 😁 The link to where I bought it is in the video description 👍🏻
What kind of spray did u use for glue?
Just fabric adhesive mate, sometimes I think it’s called contact adhesive too
How long did it take you to remove all pieces roughly?
I wish I can borrow you my Ford Fiesta and you do this to it 😞🔥
I copied exactly how you done this. Overall it looks great. Even got the same sun visor but mine seams to drop down slightly
How did it hold up after a while? I plan on doing this too in my car but i'm worried it will hang/sag after some time
Roof is perfect, pillars pull off because of the right angles. Fabric without the foam would be better. Or foam and fabric separately
@@MendItModIt Maybe painting the pillars would be the better option? Or I just hand them over to someone that does this shit for a living
@@nou-fg8wq paint won’t last 5 minutes and would look shit on the pillars I reckon. Could get the pillars done professionally but I wouldn’t, I’ll just have another go some time in the future

How much for everything
Great video! Thanks! How does the adhesive for the headliner hold up? Seeing any sag at all?
shoulda put fibre optics in above the headliner !
Please can you do mine ?
😂😂
