Well, I love my 2022 Blazer because it has low cabin noise on a highway compared to other vehicles and it accelerates very fast. I have V4. It gives me 26 MPG combined when driving 78 MPH on a highway. It gives me 30-32 MPG when driving 71 MPH on a highway.

I have a 2020 Blazer LT and we love it! The only complaint that I have is, come to think of it I really don't have any complaints! Last July we went from Canton Ohio down to Tampa/St. Pete for vacation with our adult children and their kids. Traveling I-77 South through the mountains of West By God Virginia to I-95 South and on into Florida, we averaged 29.4 MPG for the trip down with our V-6 engine. At one point during the flatter section of road we actually had a 50 mile stretch of road averaging 33,6 MPG! Handling through the mountains was EXCELLENT! The ride was very comfortable and surprisingly smooth! One of the quietest cars I've ever owned and at 73 years old I've owned quite a few! I am a fan!

Everyone loves how it looks. Compliments every day about it. FYI...I didn't design it, but I'll pass the praise to the people that did. Even though it is just basically a rip off of the camaro. Interior layout, front design, hood, side panels. It's a camaro on steroids that skips leg days so it's slower. So far it's the best vehicle I ever owned. But it does have its issues. My main problem is they way the stupid transmission shifts. No need for so many gears. Every pause in speed that has me down to 10mph will just lead to a launch to 20 by slightly pushing the gas. Have to ever so gently press the gas to accelerate slowly. I give the chevy blazer 8/10. I'm sure I will find out it's flaws someday. But until then, I'm loving it. That's all I got to say about that.
I have a '20 Blazer 2LT, V6 AWD that I bought used with 53K miles in early '23. The MAIN thing I don't like is also the gas mileage, at about 25 highway (i drive very little in stop-go city). Normal driving without sport I get maybe 17 mpgs in a heavy 4 cylinder. Oh and I can’t seem to get the cruise control to work, might just be me that doesn’t know how to program it bc I’m sure the CC isn’t defective, hope it’s not. And lastly I can’t turn off the Auto/Start stop feature but in models above the “ L “ have a button to turn it off, I have to release the brake and press on it again bc I get annoyed when it turns off( when A/C is on it won’t turn on the feature) It was a dealer tester car with 6k miles, light curb damage to rear right wheel, scratches in the paint when we bought it, it was one of the very few Blazers In ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA (September 2019), and which is why we got the Blazer, it’s a bit in expensive to lease than new ones bc it had miles on it.

Torque steer on front wheel drive is due to the different length of the front drive axles, the longer one flexes under torque and the shorter one is stiffer and doesn't flex.
The blazer owner in me is very saddened by this. Why would GM make another Equinox with the ground clearance of a Honda Civic and call it a "Blazer" :(
You sure you only get 20 on the highway i though about one i have 2008 chevy trailblazer mods on it and i drive fast and i get 20 miles to the gallon on the highway and 17 combined with all terrain tires
Bought a new '06 for ranch. Wife drove it for years and still prefers it over any other vehicle she has owned. It is now the truck they ranch hands use to run to town for parts and stuff - still getting 19 mpg.
@matthewburkholder1076 a v8 surely isn't necessary in a midsize suv... the size of the vehicle would be unstable for towing. So no practical reason other than pleasure. V6 for midsize is prtty dang nice. Especially since nowadays all you do is get 4 cylinder hybrid or 4 cyl turbo bullshit.... yes its nice to have a midsize with an actual v6 in it...
My ford taurus weighs 4400 pounds(about 400 pounds heavier than a blazer) it has a 3.6L V6 and gets 25-26 highway easily even though I drive with a heavy foot. Something is wrong with your car
@@TheSnyds Then any vehicle can get the same mpg rating then. I get 27 mpg hwy so far and the engine hasn't even have a chance to break-in yet. 200 miles on my 2022 Blazer with the 3.6L

Great video I have the 2020 RS and the rattling noises absolutely drive me crazy! Lol and it's never in one spot I hear it coming from the tailgate then I hear come from the back then I hear it coming from the front LOL! don't know if you guys experience it! And the infotainment system is really annoying I've actually had mine changed twice :( and my other dislike I do wish the trunk area was a little bigger or just a bit deeper, but besides that I do love this car I am 6'7 and I fit so comfortably! And can't believe the space that it has! I do wish I can keep the daytime running lights that bright at night as well!
@@TheSnyds Oh yes!! Fit very comfortably! Plenty of head and shoulder room, and still enough space for my 5'8 adult to fit comfortably fit behind me! It's actually unreal, crazy enough the rear seat actually has more leg room than my 19 Tahoe! my only downfall is the rearview mirror being right at my eyelevel sometimes a bit distracting!
Never had any creeks and my infotainment hasn't ever frozed . (2019 blazer premier awd ) everything else was accurate! Especially breaking them necks !
What's this ridiculous stuff about the color of the car or wheels? What about the transmission, engine, or catalytic converter. What makes the car run and what issues such as the brakes should we be made aware of? I don't care about the color of the car nor the wheels as much as the quality of the car. My question is this thing going to break out in a blaze or set my house on fire. Geez
I hate that Chevy doesn’t have a good arm rest area on the drivers door. I like treat my arm on the door. My 2015 Jeep Compass was so comfortable compared to these cars.
I got mine and so far I love it, other than there is an issue with the squeaky brakes that Chevy is currently working on they stated. Best car I've owned so far. I have the premier and I love that sport mode. Does not act like a V6 in sport mode, in my opinion. Awesome vehicle.
Is the squeaky breaks almost like you're pad is worn but you know it's not? Mine constantly squeals on the first couple stops when first driving the car it drives me nuts. Did you get this fixed? And what did you do ?
I did like the vid. I have a 19 awd Blazer with the V6, would not even walked close to it with the 4 or a 3 cyl engine. I am not really up to speed on the other models, but the paddle shifter you like, my Blazer has a (+) - (-) button on the swifter. Put it in "L" now you control the trans gears.
I guess I'm just old school but, paddle shifters are rubbish. Worst thing ever put into any vehicle. So for me, the lack of them in the Blazer is a HUGE plus!
I get 23-29 mpg in my 2020 3.6l blazer on the highway and 19-45 city depending on if it kicked into 4cyl. Mode or not. Wow you guys must be heavy footed and not realize. Usually you guys are right on and have great videos.

Torque steer on front wheel drive is due to the different length of the front drive axles, the longer one flexes under torque and the shorter one is stiffer and doesn't flex.
I just purchased a black on black one & I’m in love with it.
Yup. We love it also! Congrats!
Paddle Shifter?? Get a sports car dude!
My 2003 v6 Cadillac got 36 miles per gallon. I don't know why
Dang that's awesome
The blazer owner in me is very saddened by this. Why would GM make another Equinox with the ground clearance of a Honda Civic and call it a "Blazer" :(
You sure you only get 20 on the highway i though about one i have 2008 chevy trailblazer mods on it and i drive fast and i get 20 miles to the gallon on the highway and 17 combined with all terrain tires
Honestly averaged about 23 or 23 highway
Bought a new '06 for ranch. Wife drove it for years and still prefers it over any other vehicle she has owned. It is now the truck they ranch hands use to run to town for parts and stuff - still getting 19 mpg.
I have the newer 2022 Premiere and my mileage is 20 city and 27 highway. I usually use cruise control so that might help someone with a lead foot.
Yea we def had a flawed number ar time of filming. That was sitting with the ac on etc. Your mileage is pretty accurate
Well I love this car .... American 🇺🇸 😍 ❤️ from 🇵🇹💁
We love it too! Did you check out the reasons why we love this car video?
I don't like it that much
Nice video but I personally never use a paddle shifter. Hate em
Keeps saying "it has a v6" like that's a big powerful engine 😂
It is in 2021. Many 3-row crossovers even have 4 cylinders
@@matthewlocke9225 yeah and the new engines are pushing higher ho, just sounds funny to me. I have a 6 liter V8 Denali😂
How many V8 on the market for SUV's nowadays? Turbos are the thing now so a V6 is a big deal 😁
@@jimedwards4901agree
@matthewburkholder1076 a v8 surely isn't necessary in a midsize suv... the size of the vehicle would be unstable for towing. So no practical reason other than pleasure. V6 for midsize is prtty dang nice. Especially since nowadays all you do is get 4 cylinder hybrid or 4 cyl turbo bullshit.... yes its nice to have a midsize with an actual v6 in it...
Paddle shifters?? In a v6 big usa suv? No its not a lambo.
My ford taurus weighs 4400 pounds(about 400 pounds heavier than a blazer) it has a 3.6L V6 and gets 25-26 highway easily even though I drive with a heavy foot. Something is wrong with your car
Is it roomy for a rear facing car seat? I hate when my daughters carseat touches the passenger seat due to no space 😔😢.
Yup! We have one back there right now
Beautiful car!!!
Thanks! We love this thing haha
Yeah you must have a lead foot if you have such terrible gas mileage.
17 hwy? are you going 80 mph or something?
A lot of sitting in traffic. Highway, idling for the video etc haha
@@TheSnyds
Then any vehicle can get the same mpg rating then.
I get 27 mpg hwy so far and the engine hasn't even have a chance to break-in yet. 200 miles on my 2022 Blazer with the 3.6L
@@thegreatempire3882 yea everyone gets worked up on the mpg. I was just being honest with what was currently in the car lol. Like chill
@@TheSnyds
My 2017 Ram with the 5.7L hemi use to get the same mpg ratings you are saying your blazer gets. I figured there has to be other factors in play because the blazer has been night and day more Efficient than the Ram. I actually got to pass a gas station for once 😂
@@thegreatempire3882 hahaha nice. Yea realistically we get about 25mpg
That's junk. I'll keep my 2000 Blazer which is a real one
You are not serious.
It's called content.
Vehicles that have a hitch on them would not come with paddle shifters, Silverado, Tahoe, etc.
6'7 that's crazy that you fit comfortably!
Geez
I haven’t got 12 in the city for me? I average like 21-23
I hate that Chevy doesn’t have a good arm rest area on the drivers door. I like treat my arm on the door. My 2015 Jeep Compass was so comfortable compared to these cars.
Funny you say that. I thought it was pretty comfy for me
I got mine and so far I love it, other than there is an issue with the squeaky brakes that Chevy is currently working on they stated. Best car I've owned so far. I have the premier and I love that sport mode. Does not act like a V6 in sport mode, in my opinion. Awesome vehicle.
Def love this thing as well!
Is the squeaky breaks almost like you're pad is worn but you know it's not? Mine constantly squeals on the first couple stops when first driving the car it drives me nuts. Did you get this fixed? And what did you do ?
Mine is missing features waiting for chips 😅
I want this so bad.. Bought a RAV4 and then saw this. Been unhappy with my purchase every since…
Dealers are dying for trades! Maybe you can swing a good deal
Naw you’d be unhappy with this purchase lol. RAV4 is more reliable
Keep the RAV 4 it will last for decades. Unless you're leasing than yes go with a Blazer if you really want one.
Good to know about the shifting!
I guess I'm just old school but, paddle shifters are rubbish. Worst thing ever put into any vehicle. So for me, the lack of them in the Blazer is a HUGE plus!
The fact that you keep calling it a car is exactly the reason why gm should have never put the blazer name on it. Cute car dude
Guess I will be buying the 2021 Sorento X line model, was looking into the Blazer but after this not any more
Check out the things we love about it as well. Id still buy this car 10/10 times lol
Your better off with Chevy than a Kia
RAV4
Parents have the new RAV 4. Good car as well but Blazer still gets my vote
the blazer is so much better looking
I miss the k5 trailblazer
1st chevy for me. But you wont be the last to say that!
Please advise as to the years a K5 Trailblazer was manufactured. Pretty sure it would be a unicorn.
Does your engine consume oil?
I get 23-29 mpg in my 2020 3.6l blazer on the highway and 19-45 city depending on if it kicked into 4cyl. Mode or not. Wow you guys must be heavy footed and not realize. Usually you guys are right on and have great videos.
She's a liar she does not drive conservatively and gets 12 13 mpg in the city I've been driving one for a rental for about a week I'm getting about 17 18 miles to the gallon in the city
We literally showed you the gage. If your in stop and go and idling you can def see that. Are you in the V6 or the turbo Blazer
what windows visors do you guys have?
Avs (Link is under the video I have linked)
