If the coolant leak was $120 fix, they did not replace the radiator. That would be in the $1000-2000 range including labor as it calls for 4.5 hrs no including draining/filling.
I appreciate your realness and the everyday-evaluation. Seeing the child car seats in the back and the lived-in perspective was very refreshing. I raised my children in my 2006 blacked-out Ford Mustang Pony Package and people were surprised to see a booster seat in the back. It too was a real-world, lived-in, car. 😅
Lol! I had 2 booster seats in the back of my Mustangs on this channel. You can definitely do it for a few years.
Thank you for an honest review. I’m looking at used ones now and I don’t think I’m gonna buy one. Thank you so much.
Get a Toyota. They last long.
It WAS the very car I was going to buy! This really sux..but I appreciate your candor..
Constantly running over nails is a driver issue not a Chevy blazer issue.
The visibility over the dashboard is also a driver issue, not a Chevy Blazer issue. Adjust your seats properly.
And sure, the performance doesn’t match a Hellcat or top of the line Camaro. Did you think it would for a considerably lower price?
How much do you love the Blazer?
@@QueTheChaotic Have a ‘22 RS AWD and love it.
Man watching this really made me appreciate our Mazda CX5 cause we had 3 years free maintenance meaning free oil changes and tire rotations etc, and since we bought it we haven't had any problems other than the ones my wife cause by running over sidewalks etc. lol I think you guys should get a Mazda CX90 once your lease is up, that will be fun to watch. Awesome video brother I enjoyed this.
Thanks a lot! Mazdas are at the top of my list unless she wants her dream truck, jaguar F Pace. Depreciation hit those hard. Other than those, nothing else really interested me in the SUV department. I’d rather her get a pickup truck
@@QueTheChaotic 😲 Lol when I said truck I was legit shocked! I look forward to seeing you do a review on a Mazda CX90.
I can't do mazda because they refuse to have touch screens
Woman drivers lol 😂😂😂
I've had a 2021 lt2 for 3 years. No issues.
Me too. Just replaced the battery and tires. The only issue was the radiator cap, it was a $20 easy fix.
2 1/2 years, and transmission issues
How many miles so far?😊
Sounds like common issues like any other car.
Nice review. Solid family daily car.
Seems like the Radiator is an issue on these a lot. I just bought a Black 22 RS yesterday and it was mentioned on the service history they replaced the Radiator 3 months ago.
This is an honest review
Im looking at Blazers right now at a used chevy dealership, looking at one with 46k for 21k. I have heard some people having problems but it seems like it's always the RS that does, I'm just looking at LT's. but im very worried about hearing problems with these, if i spend that much money I expect no problems.
If you do get one, go with a certified pre-owned or one still under warranty.
@@QueTheChaotic i rather get a flashy car like your camaro our something but in michigan the roads suck and the snow is bad. but thanks for the advice i def will get one that covers my ass.
4 year update on my wife's 2020 Blazer LT. We spent an extra $5k for the extended warranty because we travel a lot. The extended warranty only goes up to 60k miles. A/C went out at 61k. Dealer said it was the compressor, and it'll be $2,500 to fix it. The radio goes out on long rides, the emergency brake light, power steering light, abs lights keep coming on. Dealer said it needs a new radio. That'll be $1,500. Those lights on the dash they said it's some sensor that'll cost $500. This was all out of town. We got back home to my old shop. The ac condensor had a hairline crack. So I got the freon sucked out, bought the part for $120, put it in myself, and had it recharged with freon. As for the radio and all the lights, it was a bad cell battery, causing them to act up. So many things rely on that battey. Now we're at 80k miles. The transmission is slipping in the second gear. To fix or get rid of it?
@@tmob_leeroy550thanks for this comment. Definitely won’t be buying this anymore
That's a nice looking car! I have the new Trax 2RS in Crimson red. Some people ask me if it's a Blazer. I laugh and say it's half a Blazer LOL
smooth presentation
I keep going back to really considering this car. I think it’s the looks and the performance, but I know it will not be as good as others.
What i really like about the Blazer is its width! very wide.
Away from the radiator and the ECM were their any major issues? Sounds like it’s not massively unreliable. I wouldn’t pick a CX-5 over this for the cramped interior of the CX-5 but then again the CX-5 doesn’t compete in the class where the blazer is in.(I love the CX-5 though). Also they do still make the gas Blazer as well.
You’re right. I’m gonna look at the CX70. My wife still wants a blazer. It’s gonna come to price. Other than those issues it’s been ok. It does shift pretty hard at times still
Blazer would be bad ass with a v8
Nice review,I like the Blazer it is really like a camaro crossover
“Always in garage”
2years / 22,000 miles
“Problems”
Literally everything was covered under warranty
Yeah it’s covered by warranty but who wants to deal with that?
I am a Mazda Cadillac girl currently a Cadillac girl and I love my car everything works well.
I have a 2021 blazer redline edition and I love it for an suv it is quick
Hey, I am thinking about buying a 2023 blazer? I like how it looks, and I like that its a little fast too. Do you think it can handle 6-8 years of usage? What's is your advice Joseph?
Hey but what version of color is it ? : D
It’s not the blazer it’s the model you get rs are going to mess up more bc it’s a rally sport which is going to mess up like a sports car
I have an Equinox right now but was thinking about trading it in for a Blazer...im not sure now😂
They're ok overall. I still have the rough transmission shifts. Maybe it's my Blazer
Recently upgraded from a 2016 equinox. 100% worth it transmission is better than equinox i feel
Yes
🥉
Great detail video. Overall would you purchase one again? I have the RS equinox and I stay in Michigan and it’s not good in the snow 😢. Stuck in my own drive way. I’m trading it in June. I was thinking about the Blazer RS but in AWD. For sure lol
I wouldn’t purchase one again. There’s a lot better options for the price nowadays. AWD would be a must. We never got stuck but driving in snow it helps a lot.
@@QueTheChaotic What cars would you buy instead for the same price? any thoughts..
@@7asssonny821 Mazda CX50 or even the new Trax if I wanna save some money
@@QueTheChaotic but you wouldn’t pick a Mazda cx-5 over the blazer would you?
@@7asssonny821 I still could
I heard they have radiator issue
I just bought one and within two weeks I was just looking and noticed it's has a small leak in the radiator where fhe metal side meets fhe plastics Nothing big just barley leaking but nonetheless it's definitely leaking and they told me it be 3 weeks before I could get it in and I'm like 400miles from my warranty miles and have to work still fml lol
Low profile tires are a scam. Every bump is a potential hazard.

Since she like blazers you should try to put your name on a Blazer EV
As someone who was a big fan of the Blazer EV when it was first announced...... Hellll No! Chevy completely shit the bed with that vehicle. It looks great, but that is about all they got right. There have been major issues causing stop sales and now they have had to reduce the price 5-6k and they still aren't moving. I really hope they get their shit together before the Equinox EV is released, but don't have high hopes. I would love to see them do well with EVs, but they aren't there yet and neither is the EV infrastructure. I do love the feel of driving an EV tho. That instant torque/go cart feeling is something that I would love to have as an everyday driver.

I’m literally sitting in a tree, looking for 🦌.
🥈😆😆😆 you the man. Can a 🦌 fit in the gt350?
@@QueTheChaotic I’ll let you know. 🤣
I have a 2021 and the cameras stopped working.
Buy a Toyota. Stress free. They last long.
1:30 more to your liking for your wife's daily driver?🤔😂😂
Lol! She needs to like what I like!
@@QueTheChaotic that's fine but she needs to get what sheeee wants. I could've sworn I've heard u say u haven't even driven it in a minute except for getting the maintenance lol.
If your wife wants a SUV thats basically a caramo & she likes going 0-60mph in around 5 seconds (chip in my rs so it does it in 4.3) & 50-70mph at about 1.2 seconds, then yes, a great car for the wife.
Does not handle like a camaro.....Duh!
I said that to say it doesn’t handle at all
Clean your car before videoing bro.
Nah
If you had this car for 2 years, why do you still have the new sticker on the glove box? 😂😂😂
I never take them off
I have a 2023 fully loaded RS but in red hot(bright red) LOVE IT!
also have two kiddos.
Had a red camaro red corvette and white charger but needed more space… its a cool mom car😎!
i never take my stickers off either!
I had the same issues
As a mechanic this video is fake and should be considered fraud. Who ever made this video wants you to buy something else .
*as a Chevy mechanic
Same dude. I’ve had my blazer rs 2019 since 2019 bought it with 5 miles on it. It has been nothing but problems. 5 battery swaps, shifter change, daytime running lights failed 3 times, electrical issues it never ends. I hate this car
Learned my lesson from a '06 Impala. Headliner dropping down to cracked dashboard to battery cables disintegrating. 🤢🤢🤢
word has it DONT buy 2020 -2021/2022 due to the covid pandemic .... cars in general not put together as well. that being said we have a 2019 with less than 50,000 , owned for less than a month and already been to the shop once for shudder in transmission , replaced valve body and torque convertor and now first road trip 700 miles +/- and steering assist is now disabled most likely a faulty thermostat and/or sensor....
I love Blazer rs
Wife has a 2019 and it's a POS, replaced sunroof motors @ 13,000, new torque converter, at 36,000, replace wire harness @ 37,000, starter, codes radiator sensor, wife can't wait to get a Toyota, I told her never buy the first year of a new vehicle, don't buy a Mexican made car either she didn't listen.
I have a 2019 Blazer premier, AWD with sun roof. The only issue I had with it is the auto engine shutoff stopped working. No big deal since I don’t care and most people don’t like it anyway.
What dud the dealership say about it?
@QueTheChaotic hace 2 dias me entregaron la blazer después de 6 dias, los de la agencia me dijieron qué el diagnostic fuel pressure sensor de combustible, la linea del gas, y code PO18B y checaron voltage. Aver si no falla otra ves.
How much was the lease
about $480
Oh that is cheap. I'm stuck between this and the 2024 Chevy z71 traverse
I love it. Chevy gang standing strong. But one thing you not bout to do is give me math equations mid stride and exit . I thought the blazer had some get up to it. Maybe I’m biased because I’m an blazer alumnus . Either way WE OUTSIDE
😆😆😆 add it up!!
So many car reviews are after the first month or day, the car reviews that MATTER are these! How was the car after a YEAR or TWO.
Thank you
No way to to see the USA then in your brand new Chevrolet!!!!!
Chevrolet all day!!!
Tiggy R says hi bruh! 😊
Does the US not get that?
@@QueTheChaotic - Not sure man. Pretty sure the VW Tiquan is available in the US no? Usually if we have it, so do you or vice versa
Yo que is it better to lease a blazer then financing one?
At the time we got ours, leasing was better
Problem #1, it’s a Chevy.
😆😆😆
😂😂😂
Problem #2, that ain’t a Blazer, it’s a plus size Trax.
@@oraclemiata845 I’m shocked GM doesn’t have a wrangler/ bronco competitor
Chevy can't be that bad.
Is 9 speed transmission chevy reliable?
So far it’s ok. Time will tell. I’m still wondering about the hard shifting
I like it sometimes. But when I'm in sport mode, mine wants to jump if I slow down to around 10-15 then accelerate when turningor in enteringa roundabout. It feels like it does a mini launch. But if I ever so gently push the gas its OK. Its like it just wants to go fast, all the time.
