I love the way you say the icelandic names of the waterfalls and everything. Thank you for speaking well of my country. And welcome everyone :)
Awww thank you. I love your country.
I'am alsow from Iceland^_^
When is the best time to visit? The northern lights is besides going to Iceland on my bucket list. Don't care about nice weather so much as taking it all in, the black sand the falls and blue thermals and geysers.
november,december,january, february
Gudrun Magnusdottir hi is January an ok time to visit?
Here's one tip from a local person. If you're travelling north of Reykjavik do not go through the tunnel in Hvalfjordur. Instead drive the fjord, it takes 45 more minutes but the scenery will be worth it! Deep in the fjord there's a fall called Glymur and it's the second tallest fall in Iceland, about 200m or 450 feet high. Take something to eat with you and find a nice spot for picnic where you can watch the fall and the steep canyon, but remember to take all the litter with you as we love our unspoiled nature :)
Incredible tip! Thank you so much! I can't wait to get back to Iceland and do this myself.
+Little Grey Box I have loads more. I love my country and to travel around. I've driven the ring road around Iceland few times so I've seen loads of places :) Next time you visit then spend about two weeks to drive the whole circle of Iceland.
Thanks! I will be doing that next time for sure!
+rstabler1 I think it's road 47 in Hvalfjörður. If you don't mind hiking to see an amazing canyon and the second tallest fall in Iceland then stop at Glymur.
I live in Reykjavik suburbs called grafarholt, born and raised in Reykjavik :)
I will definitely do that. Thanks for the tip!
My friends and I are going to Iceland in November! Only for about 4 days though. No idea how we're supposed to fit as much as we want to do in but we will try! This video was a big help, there's so much stuff to do it's a little overwhelming!
Don't worry Jordan. I'm sure you'll still see plenty and it just gives you a reason to return :)
Hey phoebe! Can't believe I've just seen this. I'm currently near the end of a year travelling and hoping to visit Iceland over the winter depending on money! Great tips and info. Love your humour!
+First World Traveller I really hope you make it :) Iceland is so beautiful (but super expensive!!) if you don't make it this time you'll have to go another time. It's one of those bucket list places for sure - you would LOVE it x
Another thing possible to do in the summer if you feel like there are too many tourists around is to go to the eastern or western fjords. There are a lot more things to see than just the touristy ones.
The best thing is to have an Icelandic friend to drive you around, but lets be realistic.
My family and I are going to Iceland in March next year. We can't wait.
Watching your video is full of great information and we feel more prepared for it now. And have some great ideas of things to see and do.
Have a great time! Thanks for the comment, I'm glad it helped :)
I visited Iceland for six days last January; recently widowed I was largely on my own during my stay. Although I tried to meet people, I found it hard to break the ice (as it were) with the locals.
Highlights were indeed seeing the Northern Lights for the first time my adult life, spending the greater part of a day on the Golden Circle tour, a magnificent concert of Icelandic music at the Harpa concert hall, hearing the organ in the Hallgrímskirkja and three afternoons spent at Reykjavík's largest municipal thermal swimming pool complex called the Laugardalslaug. All told, I had a great time, without spending a whole lot of money.
Wish I could pronounce the names of places as well as you...
I'm glad you had a great time, and great to hear you found it not too expensive.
Just back from Iceland. Travelling at night “night” under the midnight sun was easy, safe, quiet and avoided the crowds. All the natural places were open anyway. Was only the two of us in Reykadslur Hot Springs. Best country!
Sounds like you had a great time! 🥰
This video is perfect for a short stay and hits the major tourist areas. Ideally you want to spend a bit more time outside of Reyjakvik, as beautiful as it is, it's still just a city and Iceland is so much more than a city. It's more like a moonscape, meets Mars, meets incredible....
In saying that, AirBnb can get you great prices even right downtown in Reykjavik. Don't bring cotton shirts if you plan on hiking, you don't want to freeze in a rain storm (Wool or polyester insulate better while wet). Rent a Campervan from GoCampers, KuKu or Happycampers and explore. Skip the Blue Lagoon (about 80 CDN each for the most basic pass, and it's basically only run off from a geothermal plant) and go to Seljavallalaug or Hveragerði (the latter not far from Reykjavik, and both free), they are amazing hotsprings (Hveragerð being a bit of a hike but worth it).
If you can, make the glacial lagoon at Jökulsárlón. however if coming east on Hwy 1 (Main ring road) stop and the small lagoon just before for a better view and less people... Amazing place! Seriously amazing!!
Wow! Incredible tips, thank you so much!
This is GREAT!! Exactly what I wanted to know for my upcoming trip to Iceland! And thanks for introducing your cat. I appreciate her testimony to the validity of your claims. :)
If you're going in summer and want to get photos of the famous tourist locations without the crowds it's best to take photos late at night. I was able to get places like Skogafoss all to myself by taking pictures after midnight. (By 22:00 there was hardly anyone around). The downside to traveling at night is that everything is closed. But if you're making your own food and camping, it's only a minor inconvenience.
THAT is an amazing tip!!! I never thought of doing that 😀 thank you!!!
I can't wait to return to Iceland to visit again.
Hey!! Great video, I moved to Iceland in Feb this year and am doing weekly vlogs. Did a packing video featuring all the layers, haha, and going to do an itinerary video soon. So glad you enjoyed Iceland.
+Sonia Nicolson (LAYOUTLINES) Wow, what a change! That sounds amazing... Thanks for letting me know and for watching my video x P
hi I live in Iceland and your tip about umbrellas is questionable, if you go in the summers and you are lucky you might be able to use the umbrella but typical Icelandic rain makes an umbrella unrealistic due to the fact that the rain comes from every direction and the vind is crazy but other than that your tips were good and ALWAYS bring swim wear because of heated public pools
R U indian?
I merry you
I wish one day I will come there to explore the beauty of Iceland ... ❤️
Awesome tips!! I just travelled iceland in mid March this year- My advice: Allow yourself a minimum of 10 days and circle the entire country!! The landscape is mind blowing and the further around the country you go- the more mystical the landscape and remote you feel. If limited with time, head a few hours east of Reykjavik towards jokullsarlon (The glacial lagoon) This area was my favourite and the drive there is absolutely phenomenal. We actually circled the country 1.5 times because once we landed back in reykjavik we continued east again to travel the roads again because we loved that area so much.
March- April was such a great time to travel- it exceeded all my expectations. Temperature ranged from -10C through to 8C with sun on most days, and fresh snow on others. A few roads were closed around the North of the country but we managed to get through. Tourists tend to stick to the Golden Circle - and as we discovered, this is unpleasant and not a good representation of what Iceland has to offer. There were days we would be driving and not see another car for hours. It felt like we had the entire country to ourselves.
We saw the northern lights 10 nights out of the 12 we were there and can not have asked for better conditions. Dive Silfra - its awesome. The blue lagoon in Mvytan is much better- instead of fighting crowds and hundreds of tourists, we shared a lagoon with 30 people maximum, was served beer (by the lifeguard on duty) and were treated to a northern lights display while we soaked in the warm water. It was pure magic!
I am dying to get back there and road trip the country again. Ive posted a short video from my travels on my channel. Check it out and let me know what you think :)
Happy Travels!
+Meaghan Smith Wow, awesome comment Meaghan! Thanks so much for sharing all your insight and advice, it's really, really appreciated. I can't wait to go back again too. Must. Earn. More. Money.
The video is helpful and so is your comment! Thank you both!!
I'm planning a trip to Iceland in March next year, any chance I can connect to you personally for more information? Will really appreciate it much! All the way from Singapore! :)
Your video was cute AND informative - we went there last September which was perfect because there were no crowds and the weather was around 45 which is tolerable - we went everywhere you mentioned except that big pool and more - one place that blew us away that you might mention is Diamond Beach right down from a huge glacier...it took our breath away!
Ohh! Diamond Beach sounds amazing. We will have to check that out next time we visit! Thank you!
Thank you for this video. I really enjoyed it, and it was very informative. I'm planning on doing a trip to Iceland in about 2 years as a Masters graduation trip with my family. We are considering doing a 10 day trip around Reykjavik and the Ring Road. I'm hoping this is plenty of time.
Thanks so much for this video! Me and my partner are heading out there next month and this was so useful! I've started planning where to go and I'm so excited!
Thank you so much for watching, Natalie, so glad it was helpful. Have an AMAZING time... you are going to LOVE it xx
GUYS!!! I live in Iceland and there is important information you need to know before going there (that is IF you are going there).
this is the only thing you need to do:
FOLLOW RULES!
When an Icelandic person tells you you need to dress well DO SO !
When we tell you to NOT go a certain way (hole I am spelling it right) DO NOT DO SO!
Thee are number of cases of people coming near death or even dying in Iceland JUST because of weather conditions and dangerous landscape.
Well and there is one more rule
Don't be an idiot and die.
hey i am planning to go on a road trip the end of september, i saw from the footage, the road condition is very good and wide. but what do you mean by dangerous landscape?
kajitani13 for example just dont go ontop of glaciers (dont look at the grammar) in your t shirt.. surprisingly there are many people who do that and die in the cold. many people go to iceland unprepared again, in theyr t's thinking like its spain their going to.
if you are going maje sure you bring a coat for when it rains, a very comfy sweater and warm pants and coats, scarfs and beenies. almost like ur dressing up for winter couse its cold. (or its getting there) you get the point.
also if you see a warning sign don't get reckless like the other tourists and just ignor it for the pictures. they are there for a reason and they should be respected.
sorry for making this long. feel free to ask more
Why you all sound extremely kind? I'm Italian and i'm moving there in a week (15 december) to work as cook in Akureyri....i hope i will get amazed by your lifestyle....we use to be very nasty in italy :D....we'r funny and all but...you know....
Contact me
Szalfha Kacita just be careful and check the weather forecast. Weather in Iceland can change very quickly though.
Always bring enough water and food with you and warm clothes.
Do not drive of the road. It is illegal, dangerous and can hurt the nature.
Look out for signs that warn you about something and follow them. For example when you’re at beaches if they say there are sneak waves do not get close to the ocean what so ever.
Do not go out on edges of cliffs or waterfalls. The edges are sometimes loose and you could fall down. Justin bieber did that in a video and he’s lucky not to have fallen down.
Do not climb glaciers on your own. There are cracks you can fall into also don’t hike unless you know what you’re doing.
Same with lava there are cracks you can fall into
Watch out for the artic turn. It can attach you if you’re to close to it’s young ones
Be careful of hot spring sometimes they are dangerously hot.
One last thing erm okay sometimes it might happen that your out in the nature and need to go for number 1 or 2. For number 2 dig a hole and put a stone over it or put dirt over it again. Just please do not leave toilet paper all around our nature.
Icelanders grow up learning these things and it’s second nature for us to look out for these things. If you look out for these things you should be fine. Don’t worry about dying and I’m sorry if we’re scaring you. Just be careful that’s all we’re saying. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable with the last one. Safe travels :)
Hello and good morning. Heading to Iceland in March, 2019. I had absolutely no idea what to expect. Thank you so much for your video. Very helpful. At least now I have some knowledge about this wonderful area. Thank you!!
Sooo jealous! Have a great time exploring Iceland.
Hey me and my wife where talking about going in September and yours was the first video I saw about it. And I have to say you’ve sold me on it!
You two are going to have the BEST time! I wish I was going back too. Have an incredible trip and thank you for watching.
Thanks for your Iceland video, good to have all of you beautiful people around. One thing about the black beaches, generally they are very steep and there is a rhythm the brake up on the beach, every 10 wave is really big and your life is in danger if it grabs you, be very careful. Be well and have fun.
Thanks so much for watching our video :) and for sharing your black beach insight!
I love Iceland especially the prawn rings and free delivery
That's why mums go to iceland
Great tips! As a local Icelander (and a local Icelandic company) it's interesting to get the perspective of a first time visitor. Will definitely be sharing this with my social media followers :)
+Happy Campers Iceland Thanks so much, you guys. It's nice to know it hit the mark with the locals :) Maybe when I come to Iceland next, we can work together? Thanks for the share, I really appreciate it. P
+Little Grey Box No problem! Yes if you're ever in Iceland again we'd love to hear from you.
+Happy Campers Iceland I definitely will :)
Iceland had without a doubt the best food I ever ate. All of it local, organic, fresh and prepared with pride. We could not remember a bad meal. One lunchtime we went for fish and chips and the guy said, "If you can wait 10 minutes, I'm getting fresh fish from the harbor (2 minutes away)." How great is that? Sushi Samba had the most memorable sushi. I still think about it.
Wow! ha ha ha That sounds like you really had an awesome experience. Thanks for sharing.
I plan to go to Iceland in November 2018. At the moment I am saving both money and time up at work. The main reason is to photograph the Northern Lights.
If you haven't started paying for stuff yet, be prepared to spend a LOT of money! People have told me it is cheap, but I have not found that to be the case with rental cars or hotels. We're going in July 2017 (less than a week away now!) so I hope to be proven wrong, but my impression so far is that it has cost and will still cost me TONS of money!
Should be a nice time for that. Hope you get some nice activity.
Thanks. It is a wonderful time of year to come, especially if you come from a place with hot summer weather. The weather is beautiful and sunny here now!
This is why I love Scandinavia.
It's a beautiful part of the world, that's for sure! Thanks so much for watching :)
Just booking my trip and this has really helped! Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for watching 😀🙌🏻 have a great time!
I am going to Iceland this October... Can't wait...
You lucky thing! Have a great time!
Nautholsvik thermal Beach in Reykjavic was amazing (and free), the secret lagoon was a real find also. Geysir restaurant in Rek was great, ate there twice. Oh and try the Rhubarb Jam. Iceland is as good as people say it is. It's not hype.
Thanks for the tips Martin.
Great tips, thank you! I'm going in a week and can't wait.
Have a great time!
Highly recommended to buy tickets and reserve a time for the Blue Lagoon before you arrive in Iceland as sometimes it can be all booked up.
This is a great tip! Thanks for sharing 😊🙏🏼
These are all nice advises but frankly I would drop the umbrella. You hardly see locals using them since umbrellas quicly get destroyed by the wind anyways. Have a nice waterproof hooded jacked instead and a beanie and just bite it. I second what Staralfur said about taking Hvalfjordur instead of the tunnel ...and I believe Glymur is indeed the tallest waterfall in Iceland. Have a safe trip.
Have you ever been to the secret waterfall? It's very cool you need to walk a bit to get there though because you can't exactly drive the whole way. And then you go inside of it like a cave and see the waterfall inside. It's so cool if you haven't been there you should try it.
Sounds cool!
wow rainy and cold. wish i could experience it 100%
You are suppose to be a teacher. The verbal and your body language are so good Phoebe
Oh, thank you!
you are the best.. you have a blog and details on everything and is linked to the description. Thank you. much love :) :*
Thank you sooo much!! I’m so happy you love all the links and blog details 😀💕🙌🏻
Nice went last summer and drove the ring road. It’s the most perfect place to do a movie I loved doing mine!
I wish I knew then what I know now about filming and photography, I need to go back and get some better stuff :) Thanks so much for watching!
I shoot video and photography for a living, but you could turn it into more working to make a film than enjoying the trip!
Thanks so much :)) I'm going to Iceland in early October!! Video was so helpful!!! Gonna sub 👍🏽😛
Thank you Emma!
omg same im going on the fifth X
Would really recommend going to the Mývatn Nature Baths if you're in the north part of Iceland. It's much cheaper than the blue lagoon and is just a really nice place to chill out, think about life and meet different people from all around the world. You can get a beer pass and the waiters walk around serving Icelandic beer and stuff.
*Jarðböðin við Mývatn*
Wow that's a fantastic tip - thank you so much for sharing it :D
Your tips are of utmost help ! Thanks a bunch 😍
Regards all the way from Jordan :D
Im off in 2 weeks! Can't wait! Thanks for your tips! :)
You are very welcome! I'm a little bit jealous...
Great tip, travelling there in a few weeks!!! Thank you
+Elena B thank you! Have an amazing time!
I'm heading there in September, can't wait
You will love it I'm sure!
I am going in September as well! :D
I'm going in september as well! How could do you think it will be?
I'm not sure. The historical averages say max of around 9c. I'll be cold regardless as I'm travelling from Sydney Australia.
Great video! Looking forward to see all the beautiful places))
Hello! Thanks so much for watching - hope you've had a great start to the new year. We share a new video each Friday! Have a great day, Phoebe x
Im going this Saturday!
You will have a great time. Lucky you!
hope you had a nice trip
Enjoy it to the max !! Good times pass on so fast :D
How did you like it?
I miss the berries (krækiber) I used to pick on a mountainside in Þingvellir as a kid. We also went to Sandey and collected seagull eggs. Reykjavík, where I was born, is practically unrecognizable-trees, paved roads... who would have thought. The road to Kaflavík wasn't paved and there was lava rock on both sides (I also lived in Keflavik, as an adult).
Wow!!! That sounds like a completely different world, I can’t imagine what that was like... it sounds beautiful and peaceful.
Don't know that I'll ever make it there, but if I do it will be a motorcycle roadtrip as I ride as much as possible. It seems that you had a good time there. Nice video.
Wow, that's a heck of a way to see it! I wish I'd had more time to roadtrip and explore areas further from Reykjavik!
nice, going in October ... so excited for the trip!
Have fun!
I love Iceland!❤️ I want to learn the language so bad!😭
Greets from Germany!
Great video. I'm planning a solo trip to Iceland, my first solo so I'm a little bit nervous :P. Anyway, this is the most useful video I've found so far. Keep up the good work.
Thank you
I'm going this weekend for the first time.
Whaaaat!!! Have an awesome time, Mike :D I'm sure you'll love it! Thanks for watching
Question about Iceland travel. I don't drive or have my license so I was thinking of doing a group tour. They seem super expensive though. Is there any way to visit all the cool spots by public transport?
I can't be certain, but it didn't seem like public transport was an option to see all the spots, I'm sorry. It felt like the two options were DIY drive or group tours. It could help to check out some backpacker/hostel websites, if anybody's going to know how to see everything for less, it's going to be backpackers :) Sorry I couldn't help more, but thanks for watching and have a GREAT time on your trip!
Sounds like a lot of fun!
Nice video... I’m going to Iceland in May. I can’t wait
Hello! Oh wow! You are going to have the BEST time! I'm hanging out to go back again so bad. Enjoy yourself and travel safe. Thanks so much for watching. Phoebe x
You are welcome
haha bring an umbrella!.. bad tip.. believe you me it will blow away!!
hahaha :) Maybe that's what happened to Mary Poppins? She got blown in from Iceland after getting some terrible TH-cam advice. Thanks for the insight, Clara :)
nice tips - thanks
If you are planning to come to Iceland, do NOT throw your garbage everywhere. If you like the nature don't ruin it! Tourist's already are ruining everything in my home country, but the nature is taking the most fall from tourism. Do NOT tent where ever you think you can, most lands you stay on is owned by farmers, not the government. But most important of all, don't be stupid and die for a photo ( has happened many times before )
Great tips! I saw some tourists throw rubbish out there rental car window here in Australia recently and it made me so mad!! Visitors have got to be respectful.
waw
We have major problems here in New Zealand with freedom campers shiting everywhere in our forest, rivers, streets & campsites and all over the place and the rubbish they left behind
I am glad your cat smells good. LOL
Well as the hikers say "cotton kills", my fiance and I are going next spring and poly-spandex blends and wool are our friends! I also disagree with umbrellas get a jacket with a good hood and sunglasses (I'm from an place it rains side-ways, hooded jackets always beat umbrellas). We are wearing what we would wear hiking in winter in Ohio, (breathable, water proof or resistant/ quick drying and moister wicking everything), plus good wool socks, 3 season boots and polarized sun glasses and gloves. Given we plan to get out and hike as much as possible and are not so much into night life, we are going to see iceland, not just another big city. Still thanks for the tips!
Wow! That's some great detail, thanks Jennifer :) Have a great time there next Spring.
We are a Canadian family of four going in August. Which hot springs did you visit and what lava tube cave? How plentiful was an internet connection? Will our cell phone GPS work? Any advice you have would be very helpful! Thx!
Hi Tracey. The comments on this video have heaps of great tips and I have a few blog posts with lots of info and links you could refer to:

Hello! Thanks so much for watching, we really appreciate it. Have a great day - Phoebe x
I liked everything in Iceland
I'm just getting back from traveling the entire Ring Road in Iceland. It's been my favorite travel destination thus far. I made a similar video of the trip on my channel.
hello! i go with a friend for 6 days in august. do we have time to see the main this? e.g. the things you mention in the video? do you think is worth it to rent a car? a van to also sleep? thanks a million!
Hello! Yes, you should be able to see a lot of things if you make the most of your time. The days are long in August. It's up to you if you hire a van or not but if you want to see everything in a short time you will need transport of some sort. hanks so much for watching our video!! Have a great day. 😀☀️ We put out a new travel-themed video each Friday - hope you can subscribe & join our travel fun family! 😍 Phoebe & Matt x
If you come in August you should come up north and visit us in Dalvik for the town festival "fiskidagurinn mikli" the great fish day. Everything for free the whole weekend :D
going in September and can't wait!!!
Thumbs up!
me too !
Me toooooo!!
Going there next month. Great video! Subscribed.
Thanks so much! Have a great time and thanks for subscribing!
That was so helpful!! Thank you :)
+chintuness Thank you for watching!!! xx
Just got back. One thing not mentioned, the biting midge!! I was bitten 20 times. Didn’t expect that. Also I wasn’t aware of how dry the air was! I was also in shorts the whole time. Gas credit cards need a pin #. Etc. hope that helps.
Wow! Great tip!! Thanks so much for coming here to share your insight! Phoebe x
What was the name of the hot spring you suggested instead of the Blue Lagoon?
This blog post will help you out :)
littlegreybox.net/2016/01/25/23-incredible-things-you-must-see-and-do-in-iceland/
I think you have a very sensible attitude. Tourists are fact of life almost everywhere especially now many nations are getting a bit wealthier and many senior citizens (like me!) have a pension that lets them afford a bit of travel. A necessary evil you could say in some respects. Go to Edinburgh (my capital in Scotland) and it is hard to speak to a native in the street. But I think tourists should be polite and careful guests. On a Aurora tour last week our bus guide was very good but occasionally his English was not perfect (whose is?!): a comment from a guy from England (anonymous of course somewhere in the coach) was "maybe you could say that in English!". That is childish or moronic bad behaviour. Thanks to the excellent guide and driver from Grayline I got a nice TH-cam video out of the trip.
Hi , we enjoyed your video , thanks . We are planning a trip to Iceland ( my husband and I) . Does anyone know the name of the thermal spring recommended as a possible alternative to the Blue ?
Amazing tips but u know m busy with my studies Lol but ur videos r really nice to see!
Hello!! Thanks so much for watching 😍😀 we put out a new video each Friday! You should check out our brand new Packing Hacks video! Phoebe & Matt x
sure
Thank you so much !
that was so helpful :)
You are very welcome. Thanks for commenting.
Great video... Dear which time is good for roam... 😍
Thanks so much for watching!! Which time of year you visit depends on what you want to see - Winter is best for the Northern Lights, Summer is best for hiring a car and driving around :)
Thanks for sharing your video😘
CAST IRON UMBRELLAS for sale!
can't wait to see the waterfalls that flow up!
hahha yes! it's spectacular!
+gmcg923 haha it's amazing!
Surprisingly you answered can you make video on Kamchatka lonely place
This was great! One thing I wanted to know is where YOU are from...I know it makes me sound unbearably stupid, but I couldn't quite tell from your accent...is it Australia? The reason I want to know is because I'm Canadian, so your idea of Cold might be very different from mine!! :) I was sort of planning to pack for "chilly spring" weather over here...
Hi Lacey! You picked well, I am from sunny Queensland in Australia. I think you're right about our different ideas of what is cold.
How exactly do you spell those hot springs you mentioned? I heard blue lagoon was a tourist trap and so packed in the changing rooms you can't get to your locker. My Iceland trip is booked. Still 7 months out so doing my research now. Wanted to see if i could find the hot springs you mentioned in a Google search
Yeah, I felt a bit put off by the amount of people there. The hot springs are called: Reykjadalur Hot Springs. You'll find them on TripAdvisor and if you google them there are some really good guides on how to get there - have an amazing time! You're definitely doing the right thing researching now, I was under prepared! Thanks for watching :D
Very entertaining post! Will be even great if the names on the places you went are listed in the video :)
I'll be going there end of Oct this year, very excited. Just wondering, you went there during summer and already needed so many layers of clothing, I can't begin to imagine what snowball size I'll become wearing even more layers when I go there during winter, hahaha. Oh, and hey, what about pants? How many layers of pants do one wear/can fit within one jeans? :P
I hope you'll have a nice time ☺
That was helpful
Thank you
No worries :)
Im thinking about going with my 6 year old son end of may
marta l Go I promise you as an Icelander it is absolutely worth it!
Hey great videos. You've got a new subscriber here! :)
is September good time to go...I plan to go this year and do diving as well
We went around July and it was great, I'd imagine September would be colder, but still very beautiful. I'd probably recommend you find a dive company and make sure they run the dives you want to do at that time. It'd be awful to get there and miss out. I hope you have an amazing trip! It's a beautiful place.
I like the way you speak
Thanks for watching!
Thank you 😊
I'm going to Iceland shortly and was wondering if they eat/use a lot of nuts in there food as I am allergic, thank-you
I've got to be honest, I'm not sure. I didn't notice it when we ate, but I definitely wouldn't be looking at the food the same way you are with an allergy. The locals are lovely though, so you'll have no trouble letting them know about your allergy and I'm sure they'll be accommodating :)
Your video was reeeeally helpful! I'm currently planning my trip to Iceland, I can't wait to experience the rotten spiced shark meat 😃 Thank you!! ✌
Have a great time David. I wish I could get back there myself.

In 1965 I was brought to Iceland by Good Samaritans , They brought me out of harms way, We were on the Trawler Ardbaker out of Akerery , The other Trawler with us Sletbaker got chased away .
Those two Captains risked there Ships and crew for a no body, Me ! . All I can do is Thank the Good Folk of Akarery.
