@@eldiegoxter7517 A Hulk movie like a comic book certainly could work, it just doesn't work here because the comic style is used in all the wrong ways.
@@gracekim1998It doesn't need to be a fully animated movie to have an animation-like style. Just look at Detective Pikachu - it has an entire world in the Pokemon style, and it meshes that perfectly with the live-action format. (the Pokemon's models are actually real-life objects too) Let's say instead of overusing comic book transitions and special effects, the Hulk movie went for the harsh black shadows and powerful action poses that comic books are famous for. That could actually work extremely well as a style, would translate well into a movie format and probably make lighting any CGI models a lot easier.
"In this movie, they spend most of their time sitting around and just talking." Soooooooooo, you could maybe say this movie contained half of Fan4stic's formula? They just needed the dark rooms and PRESTO!
+CodeNameZ, that's true, though not to the extent of this one. Also, who considers it one of the best? I wouldn't say that's the general consensus. I think Ang Lee was trying to focus on the tragedy of the Hulk. That's fine and gives way to some interesting thought provoking ideas, but there needs to be balance. You need to add humor, actual acting (these performances are incredibly bland, and these are decent actors), more action (It's the freakin' Hulk man!!) and, by God, control the scene changes. I know it's a comic book movie, but, good lord these transitions are really distracting. The only good thing about the movie was Danny Elfman's score. And that's my two cents on the matter.
@@jernie9384 Humour doesn't necessarily mean MCU-ish. Hulk humour, if its there at all, should be more Doctor Strangelove/Sunset Boulevard than the Joss Whedon/Ben Hecht feel every other MCU movie seems to be aiming at.
@@clarkkentwithglasses4759 Well, there's actual humor in a lot of dramas. Not goofy humor, but humor nonetheless... My main example would be the Lion King. A Shakespearean tragedy with humor and colorful songs, and one of the best animated movies of all time!

Wanna hear a funny story? When I was a little kid and my parents wanted me to sleep, they put this movie on my TV and told me to watch it. Slept like a log.
In all fairness, Ang Lee isn't a bad idea for a director of a Hulk film. The Green Giant's best stories usually have a focus on either being super destructive or explore Bruce and Hulk's psychological dealings. The best one, imo, the Wprld War Hulk Saga, does both. It has Hulk and Banner sort of fuse into one being in order to survive the planet of Sakaar, and even be joined in one purpose after facing a painful death of someone close: the punishment or death of the Illuminati. It's not that Hulk is angry at this, but that Hulk AND BANNER are BOTH joined in a shared hatred of his former colleagues over that death, and are one in action and thought to wage war; hopefully for one last time. It's essentially Marvel's first attempt at a true Epic, with how many changes the characters go through, how expansive both Earth and Sakaar are, and from how much Hulk and Banner grew. I say this because Ang Lee is ideal for the emotional depth of Hulk and may even be best suited if given a producer or helping hand that can assist with an added Horror aspect that really makes Hulk's stories pop. The main issue, to me at least, is that Ang Lee had too little understanding of the characters and didn't do his homework as effectively as when he did Crouching Togdr, Hidden Dragon. Which explains another, seeing as it's the _execution_ of the ideas that screwed this movie over, and not the ideas themselves.
I think Ang Lee must have said something along the lines of 'We need to hire our Banner' in his Taiwanese accent, and one of his assistants must have understood 'We need to hire Eric Bana'. That's the only explanation I can find for his casting.
you are fucking goddamn right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so fucking so fucking so fucking right and as a Asian I cant even start to understand your amazing mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, one of the reasons I like this film even despite all the flaws pointed out is that it's the only Hulk film that was willing to try and experiment. No, it doesn't always pay off and it definitely runs too wild with the surreal shit and melodrama, but it's definitely trying to do something mature. Hell, given the advent of more serious, character-driven superhero works like The Dark Knight and even the comic-book style editing of Into the Spider-Verse, you could even call the movie a bit ahead of its time. The Hulk stories have spent a long time exploring psychological trauma and using the Not at All Jolly Green Giant as a metaphor for said trauma, so to see a film that does attempt to pay justice to those themes, even if it doesn't succeed as much as it stumbles, is really admirable to me. Plus, I'd like to see MCU Hulk try and hammer-toss a 100-ton Abrams tank half a mile into a sand dune.
while i actually dislike this movie even with its themes of trauma i do enjoy the idea of this movie dealing with said trauma, and i think that more superhero movies should try to experiment a bit more with psychological trauma, and ways to deal with it.
@Kryptoskillet well TO BE FAIR this movie is technically cannon in the MCU. BUT i think the focus of this comment is about how the hulk has lost the essence of exploring psychological trauma.

Much of the microbiology work seen on-screen is authentic, courtesy of Ang Lee's wife. Edward Norton was approached to play Bruce Banner, but he turned it down. Norton didn't like the script despite being a Hulk fan. He later accepted the role in The Incredible Hulk (2008). Helpful • 271 5 Nick Nolte grew his hair wildly for this movie when he was arrested for drunk driving and photographed for his now-infamous mug shot. Helpful • 202 6 Nick Nolte (David Banner) used an oxygen tank throughout the production. Eric Bana recalled a moment where, after taking a hit of oxygen on set, Nolte turned to Bana and confided, "I don't really need this, it just makes them think you're fucking crazy and they pay attention." Helpful • 56 0 Ang Lee performed the Hulk through motion-capture technology. According to the ILM animators, the Hulk's stats are as follows: * He weighs 3,452 pounds (1,565.8 kilograms). * He can exert 14 tons of pressure per square inch. * His skin is ten times as strong as Kevlar. * His chest measures 17 feet and four inches (5.3 meters). * His waist is 12 feet and ten inches (3.3 meters). * His feet are four feet and three inches (1.3 meters); if he wore shoes, they would be (U.S.) size 87. * His neck measures six feet and nine inches (2 meters). * He can move at a top speed of 300 miles (483 kilometers) per hour and cross three to four miles (4.8 to 6.4 kilometers) in a single jump. Helpful • 246 9 Ang Lee employed the split-screen technique to cinematically mimic the panels of a comic-book page. This required many takes of one scene, which was draining for Eric Bana. It took him four takes to film Banner's first Hulk transformation, and by the time of its completion, he was on the verge of collapse. Helpful • 175 6 The amount of CGI involved in the dog fight made it one of the most complex scenes ILM ever did at the time. Helpful • 93 3 The role of Betty Ross attracted Jennifer Connelly since she found Ang Lee's vision of the Hulk interesting: "He wasn't talking about a glossy fun-filled kids' movie about a green guy running around in tights. He was talking along the lines of tragedy and psychodrama, the green monster of rage, greed, jealousy, and fear in all of us." Helpful • 151 7 Bruce Banner's father was named Brian Banner in the comics. This film renamed him David Banner as a tribute to The Incredible Hulk (1977), where the Hulk was known as David Banner. Helpful • 90 3 The Hulk grows taller as he gets angrier in this movie; Sam Elliot accepted the role of General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross without reading the script, being simply excited to work with Ang Lee. Helpful • 97 4 The dim lighting during his first appearance makes the Hulk occasionally look grayish-green, an homage to when he was gray in his May 1962 debut comic. The publisher couldn't print gray very well, so Stan Lee made the Hulk green, simply because other characters hadn't used green much. Helpful • 97 4 The film was in development for 12 years, sufficient time for CGI to become sophisticated enough to render the required visual effects. Helpful • 104 5 Eric Bana said that working with Nick Nolte was the best part of being in the film: "He was quite literally one of my favorite actors of all time." Helpful • 59 2 Eric Bana commented that the mood during shooting was "ridiculously serious and morbid." Director Ang Lee explained to him that he was shooting a sort of superhero tragedy, and he would be making a whole other movie about the Hulk at the Industrial Light & Magic studios. Ironically, the film was criticized as being an overly serious superhero film. Helpful • 112 7 Ang Lee took Eric Bana to watch a bare-knuckled boxing match to prepare him for his role's brutality. The frog used in the nanomed experiment named Freddie is fake. The crew pumped air into it to make it look like it was breathing. They used a prop frog after the real one proved not to be as lively as the fake. The Hulk was originally supposed to be an animatronic. Sam Elliot read Hulk comic books to prepare for his role as General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross. He had doubts about growing a mustache since the Army discourages facial hair, but Ang Lee convinced him to do so. Helpful • 58 7 The Incredible Hulk (2008) rebooted the film, intending to fit the character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, as Marvel has the production rights to make a film with the Hulk, Universal Pictures still maintains distribution rights to any film starring the character in his own solo film. Thus, Marvel Studios produced The Incredible Hulk (2008), but Universal Pictures distributed it. For the dog fight scene, a trainer and dogs wore motion-capture suits. Bruce's dreams are primarily green and purple-colored, the Hulk's signature colors. According to production designer Rick Heinrichs, those colors follow Bruce throughout his life as a theme. Eric Bana wasn't a fan of the Hulk comics that inspired the film, but he was a big fan of The Incredible Hulk (1977). Bana explained, "I was obsessed with the TV show. I was never a huge comic book reader when I was a kid but was completely obsessed with the television show." Jennifer Connelly later played Karen, the A.I. voice in Peter Parker's Spider-Man-Suit, in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). According to Ang Lee, Rhiannon Leigh Wryn cried so much because she hates ice cream. Hulk's face was modeled after a few different people, including director Ang Lee, Eric Bana, and Jennifer Connelly. The Hulk doesn't appear fully until around 42 minutes into the movie. Nick Nolte lost his voice while filming his showdown scene;
9:37 "THE HULK! People calmly discussing things, staring at each other in silence, but... look! Green walls! It's... kind of like the Hulk is there! Symbolically! Oh, you just don't get it! You don't understand the layers of subtlety and conversation that need to be had with... THE HULK!"
THE HULK! Quietly talking about his emotions and problems with other, while getting about 2 min. of the title character fucking up tanks, but fuck that, let’s get back to the talking.... THE HULK!
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to direct a cinematic adaptation of the Hulk. The action is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of biochemistry and nuclear physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head.
That Stan Lee and Lou Ferrigno cameo is the only good thing about this movie. It's honestly an amazing idea to have both the creator of the Hulk, and the man who played him, be in a movie about said character. Too bad it's wasted.
I’m very 50/50 on this movie. I like the darkness, the effects, the transformations and many other things. But the movie honestly does kind of go on for longer needed. The whole part where Banner is transported underground is pretty hard to get through but once he transforms I love it. Him running through the desert, fighting the tanks, jumping to san francisco, that’s all great.
You know what movie is better than this, animated, AND DELIVERS ON SMASHING?! Wreck it Ralph. Yeah, an animated movie about a Donkey Kong homage is a better Hulk movie than this one. Chew on that for a second.
Great now I want to see another Hulk solo movie except it's basically the plot of Wreck it Ralph. Bruce/Hulk learns that being a "bad guy" (at least in the eyes of the public) doesn't make him a bad guy, especially after bouncing between several worlds (in this case, planets) full of other bullshit (like an endless loop of suffering troops climbing a hellish tower full of bugs and another bad guy like himself that's an extreme asshole) that ultimately gives him perspective on himself. He's learns he's not so bad after all. Bam, done. Hire me Marvel. I guarantee you it would be a box office hit and be the first Hulk movie successful enough to spawn a complete Hulk trilogy with the same actor. :P EDIT: MARVEL EVEN HAS SOMETHING FOR THIS. It's called the Crossroads, and it's an actual Hulk comic. Hulk finds himself in a network of endless dimensions and strange worlds, sort of like Wreck it Ralph's arcade room network. By god it's perfect.
Weird, you're the second or third one speaking about the mario bros movie... which made me do the search and yeah, Critic did a review on it... That someone saved but NC never reupload it. It's fucking old and since the flick itself abysmal, it's not a great review, but kinda enjoyed it nonetheless. Cinema Sins did a better job on this one, though... Mario fucking Bros!
Not really a fair comparison at all. Hopper knew exactly what movie he was making and decided to make odd choices and chew the scenery. He's never blank and emotionless.
5:35. Their usage of comic book look looks like the comics they portray. Ang Lee's comic panel style is not from any iteration of the Hulk comic, it's just him slapping a generic whacky comic book look over the story of the Hulk.
"Also, I don't think trees are a big focus of comics." Critic, allow me to introduce you to my friend Groot who would like to have a few words with you.
Why have I never heard of the Nick Nolte freak-out scene before this? Why isn't it a meme like the Mr Freeze-lines from Batman And Robin? This is comedy gold
Because it's buried inside of an otherwise painfully dull slog of a movie. Batman and Robin was an insane train wreck from beginning to end so it was very entertaining. This movie has a couple weird moments (Hulk fighting Giant dogs and Nolte freak out) but besides that it's completely unmemorable. It all just kind of blends together.
Because Batman and Robin was bad in a "it's so bad, it's almost funny" kind of way. This movie is bad in a "Oh God, make it stop!!!" kind of way, which makes people not want to remember it. Like, at all.
I got funny ones, until the last one. The first ad was a disaster movie, where John Carter/Gambit and Fant4stic Reed Richards fight wildfires, with Thanos/Cable as their boss, that's pretty good. At the halfway mark, when he set up the commercial break, I got an ad titled: Spicy Girls Dry Rub, but it wasn't as "interesting" as it sounded, it was a recipe for bbq ribs, which I guess is okay.... The ad that started at the end was one of those arthritis ones, with all the side effects that sound worse than having arthritis.
u know what this made me actually realise-- Ang Lee was trying (emphasis on "trying") a movie where childhood trauma and daddy issues was a central core of bruce's anger and conflict, which tbth is actually kind of brilliant?! imagine if all the other mistakes this movie made actually worked or werent so distracting and wacky. we would have a complex and artful take on a beloved superhero since hulk is motivated by anger, yeah we want action but something about the concept of his trauma and emotion influencing our lead ... there's something there. I just wish everything else wasn't so corny and terrible.. could've amounted to if anything a very interesting and indie-arthouse character study i sound dumb and pretensious i know. i'll take my leave
I actually see your point. If they spun it more as a drama and psychological movie without the editing and lackluster acting (using the acting as an anchor for the repressed memories). For example, I saw the swings in the middle of the barren land as a metaphor for the two main characters' lost childhoods. If there were more scenes like that and the acting revolving around THAT (especially for Banner), it would have been a cool, interesting perspective on the Hulk.
My theory is ang lee directed this as a straight up drama but in the editing process they had to "spice it up" to make it seem more exciting and like an action flick. Which is why the editing and tone is so weird
That moment when realise they guy who did this film also did Life of Pi,Broken Back Mountain and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon So he should stick with Dramas and less super heros
Tsuki Condor aang lee hated doing this movie atleast he apologized to marvel fans unlike stupid Gordon Chan whom is in denial thinking his crap live action king of fighters movie which he directed is awesome and he tells kof/king of fighters fans to shut up when they tell Gordon Chan his crappy king of fighters live action movie movie sucked! Gordon is a douche bag.
Early hulk comics always sucked when he was just Banner.... Way too much science talk, not enough hulk smash. And marvel learned that the hard way. That's why Banner can now go Hulk whenever.
I get people appreciate that it tried to be more than just an action movie, but effort and creativity alone doesn't equal good. When people say "all they do is talk," they don't mean they don't like dialogue or character development, it means they want good characters and dialogue. Avengers was mostly dialogue and character building with two big battles bookmarking it, the Dark Knight Trilogy was characterized by long conversations about morality and philosophy, Jessica Jones had drama on infidelity, guilt, abuse, and sexual assault and was lauded for it.People didn't just sit through those scenes to just get to the action, in fact most love those scenes when they are well written, well acted, and well integrated into the rest of the film. The delivery is flat and monotone, and the writing is unoriginal and nonsensical, and even the direction obviously fails at times, (the scarf scene,) and thus the heart of the film fails.
Thank you. I'm tired of the people defended this film acting as if anyone who criticizes it is a huge Michael Bay fan. Personally, I feel like people who are defending this film are more in love with what the film attempted to do than the actual execution. I love deep psychological narratives and intellectual discussions in films. However, Nolan's films and many of Marvel's tv series handle the delivery of these elements in a more cohesive and interesting manner with more emotionally charged material and far better performances. Ang Lee's Hulk is a series of dull scenes and deliveries edited together in an awkward way. Its attempts to add depth to the Hulk are far undercut by how clueless this film is at presenting its own themes and characters.
The Fox what you execute in the end is the thing that matters...not what you TRIED it INTENDED to do lol. I don't get how some people don't get that lol.
mazel34 Couldn't have explained it more perfectly. Not that there's anything wrong with liking this movie, but some of the fans are the most pretentious jerks I've ever seen, who obviously have no interest in any superhero movies, and think that anyone who likes them are stupid and inferior to them.
Vivir And you are just became the one of these "most pretentious jerks", who obviously have no interest in any others superhero movies, which different from those that massively created today, and think that anyone who likes them are stupid and inferior to them. i always felt that an incredible hulk movie is hard to find a balance with, either there's too much drama with the bruce banner side or its a cgi mess because you want to show the hulk a lot.
That does seem to be the problem there's a hard to find (and harder to maintain) balance between Bruce's emotional trauma/baggage/whatever and Hulk's sheer rampage. The multiple personalities added in the comics are NOT helping things
@@SuperSwordman1 Well, the version of the Hulk they use is worse than a toddler. If you could do a version of the Hulk somewhere between the Thing and Beast from the XMen, you'd stand a better chance. Cuz not for nothing, the violent outbursts should be dealt with in therapy. If the Hulk had stronger cognitive ability, it would help. And if the two could communicate, that could be interesting. Two sides of the same coin and all that.

@@eldiegoxter7517 A Hulk movie like a comic book certainly could work, it just doesn't work here because the comic style is used in all the wrong ways.
Spiderverse was at least animated so the panels fit better
Jam Usagi well technically for the format to work it has to be antimated right?
@@gracekim1998It doesn't need to be a fully animated movie to have an animation-like style. Just look at Detective Pikachu - it has an entire world in the Pokemon style, and it meshes that perfectly with the live-action format. (the Pokemon's models are actually real-life objects too)
Let's say instead of overusing comic book transitions and special effects, the Hulk movie went for the harsh black shadows and powerful action poses that comic books are famous for. That could actually work extremely well as a style, would translate well into a movie format and probably make lighting any CGI models a lot easier.

MCUish Humor ? No, thanks.
@@jernie9384 Humour doesn't necessarily mean MCU-ish. Hulk humour, if its there at all, should be more Doctor Strangelove/Sunset Boulevard than the Joss Whedon/Ben Hecht feel every other MCU movie seems to be aiming at.

WTF???
Guillermo St Actually, Eric Bana was one of the only good things about this crap-tastic movie.

It wasn’t as bad as this guy made out
while i actually dislike this movie even with its themes of trauma i do enjoy the idea of this movie dealing with said trauma, and i think that more superhero movies should try to experiment a bit more with psychological trauma, and ways to deal with it.

The Incredible Hulk (2008) rebooted the film, intending to fit the character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, as Marvel has the production rights to make a film with the Hulk, Universal Pictures still maintains distribution rights to any film starring the character in his own solo film. Thus, Marvel Studios produced The Incredible Hulk (2008), but Universal Pictures distributed it.

EDIT: MARVEL EVEN HAS SOMETHING FOR THIS. It's called the Crossroads, and it's an actual Hulk comic. Hulk finds himself in a network of endless dimensions and strange worlds, sort of like Wreck it Ralph's arcade room network. By god it's perfect.
Jennifer Connelly is a great actress; however in, "Hulk" she pulled a Dennis Hopper from "Super Mario Bros." and chose not to act (or care).
Or "Bob-omb!"
Hopper didn't care, but he didn't look bored either.
Not really a fair comparison at all. Hopper knew exactly what movie he was making and decided to make odd choices and chew the scenery. He's never blank and emotionless.
Never blank and emotionless? Someone's not seen Texas Chainsaw 2
I stopped everything when I saw the notification.
Ghoul Dash ditto
Ghoul Dash Same
Ghoul Dash Never tapped so fast
Same
we all did

"Mr. Giant, I swear I ate all my vegetables"
*Gets punched through the window*
I think that line was perfect for that moment, I could've said it better myself. Lol 🤣🤣🤣
You wouldn't like him when he's Ang Lee
You fucking genius
OMG
You are a blessing to us all XD
James Falconer Hold this W!😂
What? 😂
Knowing movie-based licensed games usually suck, the game was actually better (and a lot of fun imo) than the movie when it came out.
I agree me and my dad played the shit out of that game
AGREED! That game was so fun!
Have an Adam sandler month. I suggest jack and Jill first
Neo Mphahlele He only does theme monthes in January
Doubt he'd start at the lowest point of Sandler movies
Do you really want the critic to hang himself in the basement?
jack phillips he made it through Nicholas cage
Happy Gilmore is life
5:35. Their usage of comic book look looks like the comics they portray. Ang Lee's comic panel style is not from any iteration of the Hulk comic, it's just him slapping a generic whacky comic book look over the story of the Hulk.
8:31 " somebody call mrs piggy, there's been an... accident."
I guess you could say it isn't a smash hit
Dooble phhhhhhhhhhhHahahahahahahaah
Dooble its a smash shit
budum tshhhh
It was a soggy green mess. It smashed my enjoyment of the Hulk for quite some time.
"Also, I don't think trees are a big focus of comics." Critic, allow me to introduce you to my friend Groot who would like to have a few words with you.
Jason Edwards
I think 3 words might not qualify as a "few", at least, it would be hard to translate.
"You suck taint"?
And those words are "I am Groot." Well, you did say "few."
Swamp Thing>>>Groot
Damion Dixon "of course you would say that." - injustice 2 swamp thing
I mildly like the 2003 hulk and I was a fan of the incredible hulk but looking at Hulk in MCU , I adore 2003 hulk and absolutely love the 2008 one
Watch Ralphthemoviemaker's marvel videos, they're hilarious
I don't think very many people saw this.
@@devilmikey00 Some people have the attention span of a goldfish it seems. I'm glad this movie got re-evaluated over the years.
So for the commercial transition I got the emoji movie. He said fun. That wasn't fun.
Tayler Cooper XD
You got a commercial transition that had a commercial? I never get those for some reason and I don't use an ad blocker. Weird.
Tayler Cooper I got nothing
I got a small banner at the bottom of the screen. For a moment I thought Tamara and Malcolm were in the actual ad for something
I liked the Hulk movie back then :D
Now it seems shitty though
Exactly
Me too, now i want to forget that never hapenned
27:17 "Nolte gives his best impression of Yosemite Sam swallowing a duck."
I'm still recovering from that one. 😂
I definitely prefer the 2008 Incredible Hulk film
MegaSoulHero I think everyone does
pretty much.
I could understand a couple of people not feeling the same way. Edward Norton. Maybe some jackass with bizarre taste.
MegaSoulHero most people do.
kaza12345678 Ok, almost everyone. :P
u know what this made me actually realise-- Ang Lee was trying (emphasis on "trying") a movie where childhood trauma and daddy issues was a central core of bruce's anger and conflict, which tbth is actually kind of brilliant?! imagine if all the other mistakes this movie made actually worked or werent so distracting and wacky. we would have a complex and artful take on a beloved superhero
since hulk is motivated by anger, yeah we want action but something about the concept of his trauma and emotion influencing our lead ... there's something there. I just wish everything else wasn't so corny and terrible.. could've amounted to if anything a very interesting and indie-arthouse character study
i sound dumb and pretensious i know. i'll take my leave
And if you ever read a hulk comic you'll know Lee BORROWED / ADAPTED this from the comics..
You actually have a good point.
No, that makes sense. If the movie was more fun and action-packed, it might have been moved over to the comics. But it wasn't, so they didn't.
My theory is ang lee directed this as a straight up drama but in the editing process they had to "spice it up" to make it seem more exciting and like an action flick. Which is why the editing and tone is so weird
"You make the fleas in my beard go crazy". I couldn't stop laughing 😂 18:38
23:09 - what that scream do
That moment when realise they guy who did this film also did Life of Pi,Broken Back Mountain and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
So he should stick with Dramas and less super heros
Tsuki Condor aang lee hated doing this movie atleast he apologized to marvel fans unlike stupid Gordon Chan whom is in denial thinking his crap live action king of fighters movie which he directed is awesome and he tells kof/king of fighters fans to shut up when they tell Gordon Chan his crappy king of fighters live action movie movie sucked! Gordon is a douche bag.
Tsuki Condor yeah that's like having Adam Sandler direct the next Batman movie or Michael bay directing a romantic movie
Early hulk comics always sucked when he was just Banner.... Way too much science talk, not enough hulk smash. And marvel learned that the hard way. That's why Banner can now go Hulk whenever.
Please don't remind me of Doc Green.
Doc green huh
IKR. I rather have a Hulk movie that treaded familiar waters, but was well executed than an avant-garde mess.
mazel34
Couldn't have explained it more perfectly.
I hope you get the irony... and your stupidity. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When you don’t get a joke and you’re trying not to look dumb in front of your friends
i always felt that an incredible hulk movie is hard to find a balance with, either there's too much drama with the bruce banner side or its a cgi mess because you want to show the hulk a lot.
And now the Hulk is a pussy and no one knows what to do with him.
@@smol-one This movie had exactly that in the mirror scene. Hulk made his thoughts on Banner perfectly clear.
anytime I see a new nostalgia critic review in my sub box I get a big old smile on my stupid face.
Hey man! what's up!?
oh, you found me! not sure how you saw through my clever disguise. . . anyway, to answer your question, nothing really. just waiting for splatoon 2. *DAWN OF THE FIRST DAY. 72 HOURS REMAIN*

Shingo Sawatari/HGX Don't you mean Fan4stic?

Fun fact: Jeff Goldblum was considered for the role of Bruce banner

Loved the movie cuz of the idea of hulk confronting his power hungry father in his origin story.
Does anyone think one of the mutant dogs looks like one of the monsters from the scooby too movie?
