You can grab the valves and feel the one that is loose and the one that is tight. Adjust the valve that you can move with your fingers.

Emmanial K did you figure it out? Also it helps is your bike a cb175 or simliar? What chris redding was saying was that when you turn the stator wheel counter clockwise to the T mark only one side of the engine (exhaust and intake valves, intake valve being closest to the carb and exhaust valve closest to the exhaust) is at the right position to be adjusted (TDC.) You figure out which side is in TDC by manually feeling on the exhaust and intake valves for each side and whichever side is looser is the side that is in TDC and is to be adjust. You spin the flywheel 360 degrees counterclockwise after adjusting those and the other side of the engine valves should be the ones that are loose and the ones you just adjusted should be very tight as they are not in the TDC phase of the stroke. Hope this helps as I was frustrated and confused before I happened upon this video. Looking at a diagram of these old Honda twins and their 4 stroke cycle should be of some help. Thanks op for the video it helped. I did this on my cb175k4 by the way.

1982pantro once at TDC pick a cylinder. Wiggle both valves with your fingers. On will be tight and the other will be loose, adjust the loose one.

chris redding thank you so very much, i will give it a try in the morning. I took the motor apart and installed new rings, but i also removed the valves to clean them.after i out the motor back i watched a couole of videos but i couldnt get it right. I tightened all four of them intake and exhaust using a feeler gauge.i tried to start it but it just wont.everything else is new and clean i am 100 percent sure. My friend noticed all valves where loose when he removed the cover.i hope i didnt damage them.
Thank you,ill give yiu an update later.
