I find this a very attractive piece. Fluted bezel, beautiful dial, Day + Date, Integrated strap is amazing looking, if it's as comfortable as it looks, i'm all over this watch...
I have collected my 41 black dial today. Paid 15% less than retail from a fantastic dealer for a 2021, unworn full set including the original Goldsmiths receipt. I was very lucky. Online dealers are selling them 20% above retail. The watch is BETTER than I even imagined. The dial quality is stunning and the whole watch is exceptionally well made.
Just got mine delivered I’m used to bigger case sizes but I love it. For the price it’s a steal onky see the value going up in the next few years they sold out at a lot of ads

Im planning on buying this watch with the black dial, but Im not sure if Im going to buy it with the roman numerals or with the diamonds. Ive seen the normal one in person, but not the diamond one. I think I need to see both of them and compare before i decide.

Hi, of course , my writs is 18,5cm. this watch is very beautiful and excellent value for money, weird enogh i was wearing it today. Yet my advice probably would be you go for the 38mm no day, only date - after this years i find it 1) more symetric not to have the day curtting on the roman numbers, and 2) its a perfect size as the 38mm fills almost all so it will fit you perfectly.

I think design wise its a very interesting proposal compare to many. Yes its a sellita based mechanism, but it has been touched by Tudor. In fact it runs perfectly well, mine is around +7 s day
@@MAXREVS In December The offical Tudor Instagram orginally told me 'it will be available from all AD from January in the UK'. Then recently they said it has been postponded to March... Still not sure if that will be the case because of lockdown etc and I read somewhere that Tudor will only allow instore purchase.
@@howardberry4050 I just ordered the 38mm for my 16.5-17cm wrist out of fear the 41mm would be too big. Lug to lug of the 38mm is ~45mm so personally if I measure that out on my wrist it looks pretty big still. Should be receiving it mid next week, shall let you know if I remember. Personally I think the 38mm looks better than the 41mm - personal preference.

I do believe they have an in house movement in this watch. I might be wrong but i literally came home earlier today viewing the watch at an AD. But I was looking at the BB58 too so there was a few to talk about so i could be wrong saying this has an in-house but I'm pretty sure I'm 80% correct
Has anyone had an occurrence whereby once pulling the crown to the time winding position, the minute hand slips. I screwed the crown back in and pulled again and it worked fine... Unusual behaviour for a new watch (Tudor Royal)? Regards
its on the tittle 41mm. Dimensions details is something i dont do. I give my opinion on the watch, sensations... for technical details you have thousends of pages or even tudor page.
@@AbstractMan23, Roman numerals, day and date windows eating into some of the Roman numerals, that puny pathetic printed on Tudor shield and the lack of any text on the lower half of the dial. The more I look it, the more awful it looks.
Word. The Dial destroys the watch for me. Maybe with applied three dementional numerals, but the way it is, it looks cheap. Also the layout is really poor.
Thanks mate, it seems it depends on the Royal size model, in this particular date date model the movement seems to bepowered by the caliber T603 which is sellita based as far as i know.
It is, nice watch, and movement touched by tudor, still a Sellita at base. But what else you expected for the price? In that sense i think they are honest. Price is like others sellita swiss brands. Panerai and zenith have made people pay more for etas
@@WatchInTime I'm just starting to research more and some say that Sellitas aren't bad they're just basically copies of the ETA movements! A lot of great watches carry them nowadays like Tag Heur they just upgrade the movements and some use in house parts too! Actually I may consider getting it as a watch how bad can it go being a Tudor watch sister company of Rolex?
@@erico6247 Sellitas are good. i have many. And this are regulated by Tudor. Mine works great at COSC level. This makes this watch a great value for money. I only review my watches. IF you like this model, it is an excellent addition to any collection
I'm going to have to agree here though, was on the waiting list for one and may pass. I've had poor experience with Sellita, and am hesitant on one as a base even in a Tudor.

It is. Best tudor for money at 2200 price point, yes Sellita modified and not cosc movement but quality comparable to oyster Rolex!

It is a Rolex quality watch with a sellita movement i all sense. FULL VALUE FOR MONEY here and design is unique, vintage but new
