I personally love Tudor as a brand. I really like what you get for the money. It feels like a serious step up to me. I understand the "poor mans Rolex" thing but honestly, it's not anything to be ashamed of. Watchfinder & Co said it best: "If Rolex is what you wear when you've made it, Tudor is what you wear while you're on your way there" (paraphrased 😂)

Great video I just have one question! Is the gold on the gold version really solid or capped because I found this scrolling in the comments in another review: "The Black Bay S&G models have solid crowns, bezels and end links while links in the bracelet are capped. The 1926 and Royal lines do differ. The Royal bezels and bracelet links are capped while the crowns are plated which helps assist in keeping the cost more approachable. The 1926 models have solid end links with capped bracelet links and bezels, however the 28mm versions do have solid bezels." Thanks!

Once I graduate from college I've been debating 3 watches the 38 Royal black dial, 1926 36 black dial, or the GS season's edition summer green dial. I currently have a BB58 Navy and an Omega Aqua Terra 38 black dial both on bracelet. What do you think? Btw the video was really amazing quality man!!

I would probably say to go with the 38mm Royal, but since you have a Tudor already, might as well try something new and go with the GS!

Just bought this exact watch tonight as my first Swiss watch unbelievably excited got a free watch winder too so the 38 hour reserve shouldn’t be an issue

This is definitely a underrated and great watch for Tudor. I love the look. I would consider getting one but I have a tissot PRX that kind of scratched the retro integrated bracelet look.
I just actually got the chance to spend time with the PRX recently and I loved it!! Was very close to getting it!! 😍

Good video but I’d knock the music down another 25%. This is the Day Date you can beat up and wear anywhere compared to the Rolex gold which is beautiful but soft. Plus it looks like an old Rolex Oysterquartz. I like it! Thanks for the video.

The hydro conquest isn’t comfortable in my opinion and way too big
after one year of owning the Tudor, I can easily say that I love my hydroconquest more then the Tudor

I have looked on this watch before but i don't really like the bracelet. Pretty odd construction and no micro-adjustment even tho its a very long clasp (and usually with long clasps and buckle, a microadjustment should fit.) but Tudor did seems to have skipped on that. Pretty cheaply made decision. Other than that, its a real stunner i must say and a great entry-point for tasting Tudor as a brand.
Well, the price does show.

Good question but it depends on which size you’re looking for. Go on tudor’s website and you’ll find the exact one you want (size and case material) and it should tell you it’s weight

Aikon is an h original mush mash of other integrated bracelet watches, at least Tudor are going off the old heritage designs, I had them hand in hand and much preferred the royal
Hmmm! I have the tudor Royal and I'm going to also buy the Maurice lacroix. I think it's safe to say that they both look the part. I don't think either is better.
The difference...The Aikon drops value like a stone.

Update going for the 41 day date two tone gold dial.
The watch has had an increase of £100 from £1730 to £1830 for the day date in stainless steal

Hey, the 41mm only comes with day date complication. If u want to get the Datejust, you will have to buy the 38mm. But to be honest, they wear a little bigger since they're integrated bracelet!

I have to respectfully disagree. I think for $2500ish the longines triple calendar Moonphase takes the cake. It's all a matter of opinion of course but objectively it's a more complicated and better finhsed product.
However at around the $3-4k range I would say the best watch is the Tudor black bay heritage 41 or 58.

Im currently choosing between these very two watches for the next purchase, the only thing that detters me from the longines is the legibility and a steep service price which is 500$. And reports that service is needed a lot.
@Psysso I have both. Yeah truthfully speaking I am not looking forward to the day they will need servicing. If I had to choose I would choose the triple calendar moonphase because it's amazing value and will scartch the itch for a complicated choreograph. The black bay is a sub type watch real nice still.

@@romanmoruz nope. I have many watches in my collection, from APs to Swatches and Orients. What i don’t like is trash brands, faceless, passionless and unnecessary timepieces like Tudor and todors. The only thing that justifies Tudor’s existence is that yhey made and gave a good movement to Breitling. Like i said, there many good and even exciting watches in this price range. And besides, you are deviating from the subject. Everything about this watch screams Rolex for the poor. From ownership to the design language. If you really looked at it, the only reason to deny it is personal attachment.
