    i stopped gaming when i was 16 years old. i was fine at first but i started to have withdrawal systems. I felt giddy at times and even un-content with myself. Felt like i was wasting, had difficulty staying awake even when i slept a full 7-9 hours of sleep. So i turned to drugs, thanks to drugs i am no longer addicted gaming. Thank you drugs for turning my life around

      Sure counter strike can be an esport but it doesnt change the fact that it's a video game. So saying it's different doesn't make sense

    Salute to KSI. Been watching him, off and on, for a while now and his success is the result of hard work period. Put it this way without help, at least when he started from his bedroom, he recorded / edited videos either from his FIFA gaming in his parents house or just simply recording himself doing something fun outside, handled his own marketing and advertising, and networked with fellow UK eSports gamers to build a clientele to feature as guest gamers on his FIFA vids. He did this for YEARS before he even got a check. His humor / personality is what people ultimately are attracted to and "FIFA funnies" were an example of creating gameplay content from FIFA video games with funny commentary. Saw his rise through his videos, and also saw his humbleness by thanking fans constantly by saying it on video or giveaways (should've seen what he did this past Christmas, WOW!) Though I don't play video games now-a-days, or watch KSI vids as much, I'm still aware of this kid's success story of busting his ass (or having people shoot it with a paintball gun) and living his life the way he sees fit no matter what anyone says. If KSI is reading this, rumble, young man rumble!!! #Haterzwillhate #LifeofanEntrepreneur

    It's still hard work, no matter how easy it may look. Constant pressure to keep content flowing. Massive hatred if you don't, and loss of income. You need editing chops, quite a bit of expensive equipment to do it right, a very strong personality, ability to keep a witty and entertaining patter going while gaming, and the hobby you love becomes a job with it's own list of responsibilities. It's a good way to lose your sheer love of the game. I know what I'm talkin' bout.

  • @tsd8933

    Hello Fred,
    the following are the players that are playing in the Strutt Year 7 football team,
    Joseph Olagundoye 7B (Goalkeeper)
    Elliot Morley 7D (Goalkeeper- or possibly outfield depending on situation)
    Isaac Okuro-Maduka 7D (Left Centre back- if we play 3 at the back/ centre back if we play 2-4-2 )
    Matthew Olatunji 7D (Centre back or maybe central midfielder if we play 2-4-2)
    Daniel Caples-(right back or centre back)
    Joshua Nivem 7A (Left midfielder or left back)
    Ben Reynolds 7C (Central midfielder)
    Oscar Osuala 7D (Right midfield or right back).
    Jideofor Ogu 7B (Striker- though further up the pitch than the other striker.)
    Oladipo Olukanni 7B (Striker- though slightly more defensive.)
    We intend to start with a 3-3-2 formation,(with the defenders going fairly central although Isaac and Matthew can use their pace to fly up the pitch in attacks, but should still keep discipline and get back afterwards.) but if we need to press higher we can change into a 2-4-2. Which will just mean Matthew Olatunji going into centre midfield and the wingers, (Oscar and Joshua), going higher up the pitch. If we need to protect a lead we could possibly switch to a 4-3-1 formation. That will mean the wingers going to left and right back and me dropping into right centre mid, (meaning we are left with 3 centre midfielders). In that scenario we will aim to get the ball to Jideofor and use his pace for a quick counter attack.

    Everybody wanted to look and act like skate boarders because they were cool, fashionable, marketable and it was art/sport & cool as fuk, that's why it had a big impact, non-skateboarders wanted to be/look like them as its influence crossed over to mainstream.
    Esports & a team like Fnatic is the opposite. Honestly, Fnatic looked like jus a bunch of supa nerdy guys all pumped up on their lil fame. They looked hideous in their all over print, logo uniforms, shit looked like something in between a NASCAR suit and a TOMTOM GPS sales rep's polo shirt circa 2005. And the fauxhawks? I digress.
    People into esports will follow them, but there not gonna have any impact outside of this world. No one will look at this and go "I want that, that's cool, they're cool, I want to be a part of that".

      +Kyroshi Shigaya getting very defensive. he isn't judging them for not being athletes he is just pointing out how popular computer game competitions have become and also the irony of it because he is acknowledging that gaming isn't exactly in the spirit of the olympics. He wasn't saying it was a bad thing in his opinion that was left for the viewer to decide.

    The rise of e-sports and videogaming as a way to make money is incredibly fascinating. Like any other piece of entertainment, it all comes down to
    1) Being entertaining
    2) Building a fanbase
    3) Making money off advertising to further yourself
    3) Building a cohesive brand that your fan base can experience and live through product
    Now granted, I don't care for e-sports. I do watch some TH-cam gamers however. Part of me has an ill-respect for e-sports, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous.

      +maxk880 erm are we supposed to take it seriously? Do you not think it is mental that people care about this shit? to me someone who is really good at playing a game is someone I don't wanna play said game against nothing more. I am totally an outsider and I don't want to sound like an asshole but the whole thing kinda weirds me out, maybe you can inform me. Do you/some people actually love these gaming teams as much as a football fan loves their football team or a music fan loves a band and how do you pick the team you support? with a sports team you support the local team are the gaming teams localised? why?

      @maxk880 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      felix knott Why would it weird you out? It's just like traditional sports like football, except it's new. You're just acting like parents acted in the 60's about rock 'n roll ''I don't know it, I don't understand it, I won't take it seriously''. And I know what happened next, Rock 'n Roll quickly became the next big thing. It's just new, accept it. They are super good at what they are doing, and you are not their level, which makes it fun to watch

    • @greatfelixo
      @greatfelixo 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      maxk880 haha well I guess the thing is that esports is far from being the next rock n roll. It isn't really revolutionary it is not going to change the world. I'm not like parents reacting to rock n roll because they were genuinely scared of it and they thought it was damaging to the moral fabric of society. If I'm honest and don't take it as an insult but I just think esports and everything surrounding it is kinda lame. It's cool that other people enjoy I have no problem with that but to me it's not something I'm interested, I don't care for it I find the humour associated with it stupid and unfunny and to me computer games will never be anything more than something fun to do when chilling with friends.

      @raz3488 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** .....yes! do you want me to repeat it? did you read his statement??
      let's look at your comment as well. you said that pursuing esports is redundant because you have responsibilities and work. your comment and rockgods is the same premise where you see the life of a professional gamer as redundant, somehow implying that its not a worthy cause and that you don't see the reward. it's because its not your passion! and most likely it's not a world you understand, and i say that with respect. you and rockgod discredit gamers. to these guys it's their life and is what their good at. first rockgod claimed a faux humble statement saying that he'd rather have little to no money rather than have be a gamer. and you said that ' i won't do it coz i have work and stuff'.... and what i'm saying is both your logic is for lack of a better word... To keep keep your brain healthy they have to stick to healthy diets and exercise daily in order to keep there brain from shutting down. Sherif Osama I play league of legends today and in order for me to be on my top I have to exercise daily. Even the people I talk to her in america who go in small tournaments all say that they keep a exercise routine.

    I'm actually jealous of KSI. He made a fortune just by playing games he's not even good at. But at the same time I'm glad for him! It's a cool success story.

    I hate when people say that is unfair youtubers get well paid, but they don't realize that the entertainment industry has been always like this this people just make what they like and post it in videos they take time to create so don't be haters, and start your own TH-cam channel and you'll see it's not easy to have 1 million subscribers
