Another great video that gives you all the information you need to understand what he's doing so the average modeler can follow. ( battery size, tires, motor, pinion speed, etc,) Anybody that has the guts to strap a cell phone underneath an RC car doing 50+ mph is dedicated. Way to go Brian.
Thanks man.... I appreciate the comment! I do my best! That cell phone has been through a lot lol. It has a $1.25 screen protector on it so it is good to go. 😄 Back in the day, it was all I had and I did a ton of runs in the Bandit with it on there. Recently, I kept it under the car for live telemetry and had a 2s run at 86 mph. I may well have had it under there even a bit quicker on 3s, I cannot remember. Can't wait to see you Bandit on the road! Hope you are getting better by the day!
Thank you! If I can ever be of any help just let me know! So many budget RC cars have very limited gearing options which is really annoying for someone that likes to speedrun budget RC cars. : )
@@BargainBashersRc Some of them (like some HBX and Jetwood, you can drill out the motor mount and make it adjustable. For example, my HBX 16890A came with a 14t and only allowed for a 14 or 13t stock but I have a 19t in there now (it is a TIGHT fit). I may try a 20t but it will be really tight.
Did you try the extenders with these tires? Was it difficult to swap pinion gears? What kind of pinion gear is compatible? Love the info you share bro. Ride on!
@@kennyrustler9877 I am sorry, I don’t remember and would have to rewatch the video.😟 The pinion is a bit of a pain but I made a how to video on installing one. I will post in another response in case it gets deleted. 0.6 mod is the right pitch. Thank you! I appreciate the kind words!

Hey Brian, how's it going, buddy? Didn't know if you heard about Britt's situation. Didn't have any way to contact you other then through the comments. I'm sure they touched base with you. Just wanted to make sure. take care, buddy.

👍👍 Bri !
$170 to $180 isn't a bad deal at all for that truck. Good speeds and seems to handle well too.
For its size it is really good!
Good run brother great little rig..... Keep going Brian.. Oh got the same battieries today btw great little rockets..
I think you will love them. The 2s version I tested was a turd which I found really odd!
Great video Brian! There’s a lot I don’t understand about gearing so I’m glad I can learn from you about some of these things
Thank you! If I can ever be of any help just let me know!

Good stuff, Brian! Maybe time to upgrade to the SkyRC unit
Thank you!
I hope to get one sooner or later… would be nice for sure! Today wasn’t even cloudy so I am perplexed what was going on with it!
