    Happy 2025 !
    That thing was really moving on that gearing. And the Choons were impressive. I've gotta get a set of those. They seemed really stable. 👍🏼👍🏼

      I keep second guessing my glue job on those Choons but so far they have been great!

    Congratulations brother, I had to log into my YT on Annalees phone just to check updates and make sure my scheduled videos were dropping and seen this. We will be home Friday, finally. That thing is flying man. My choons should be there when we get home, I want to compare them to the Arrma brand (most likely the exact same tire). I seen my 58mph video dropped with the DeeRc, that's with stock gearing but I did install a 21T pinion and left the stock 4000kv motor. That truck is so stable and straight I didn't even use the Gyro, hoping we can hit 75 mph with it soon. Take care, happy new year, I'll text you when we're home and settled

      Nice, I hope you continue to have an awesome vacation! Seems like a long one which is great!
      It was running really nice. I was shocked just how good in ran! I can't wait to see how the Choons stack up to the real deal. I just ordered another set. The price is crazy.
      I will keep my eye open for the next DEERC video! Happy New Year!

    Great to see! Good stuff Brian! Were you able to fit the 40t pinion without cutting the slider?

    • @BriansRCStuff
      @BriansRCStuff  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thanks! Too bad it will be too cold to run it this weekend.
      Well, I am sorry but I am not sure. I ran a 41t but I cut the slider as I was using the dremel for something else and I knew sooner or later I would need to cut it.... so I did it while I had it out. I could go significantly bigger than a 41 but I am not sure if it would have fit without cutting it.
      Next run I will be running 32p gears (31/44 should about max it out).

      I was just rewatching the video and was looking at it thinking the same thing. I have no freaking idea.... I got it used and it came like that. I am pretty sure it is a RPM part. Maybe it is to protect the trans/motor when racing from getting slammed up the backside?

    A company named Lipolock 290G steel bumper that's on my Bandit has pics of their Rustlers build @ ridiculous speeds . Them just pics & #'s which surely we'll see here. @@BriansRCStuff I did think of that & great news you know of the Gentleman. I had asked for a bend on one so when it mates to Bandits bulkhead it would lay horizontal & not raked up like a rpm bumpy but I never got back to him , too many irons on the stove & may still find someone with a brake that can cleanly get the correc visually pleasing angle in the 1/8" thick Lipolock . As far as Hoons on a Bandit , heck yes !! 12 to 14mm hex adaptors was a wise choice but Bandit sat taller which ment slamming it again 1/16" to get my clearance where it was using the lower 2.2 tires. Go belted or go home .

    I think I’m experiencing voltage sag like you mentioned last rustler video. About 3/4 of the way through my run I hit the throttle all the way and it completely cuts power and I can let off and get back on it a little bit and it runs fine. Got my new set up to like 77 mile an hour and it would cut out, do you have any ideas?

    • @trevorlowe4753

      I have had both my two and 3S batteries for a year now

    • @BriansRCStuff
      @BriansRCStuff  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Sorry man, I have a hard time keeping track of everyone's setup I talk to. 😔 What LIPO, gearing, and rear tires are you running? 77 mph is great though! Very nice!
      I think you are dead on. Assuming it is a low performance LIPO, all you can really do is only do 1 or 2 runs on it (assuming even that doesn't cause it to hit LVC) and be done for the day or shut off the LVC (but that is REALLY hard on the ESC because you are probably getting bad ripple voltage). Assuming it is not a great LIPO, I would suggest getting one that can handle the amps you are drawing now. But with speedruns, especially as you continue to go faster, you will only be able to do a few runs before you should really move onto a fresh pack.
      This 30 sec clip or so in this video (timestamped) does a pretty nice job of summing up voltlalge sag. th-cam.com/video/AiEjx8_mHmg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YymSSMSmkji3gGWl&t=720

      I even cut the low voltage off and it would still cutout I can only assume my batteries are not that great. I’m running 44 34 gearing on silver hoon tires front and back. It happened on 3 and 2s lipo battery but my 3s is only 80c

    • @BriansRCStuff
      @BriansRCStuff  วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ what capacity and brand are the batteries? Is this on the stock motor? If so, I would try dropping back to a 31T pinion. At least in my previous set up that was my fastest gearing. But you should be up well past 80 with a good battery.
      If you want some suggestions, I can give them to you.

      Forgot to mention I’m on xteam 4650kv motor and hobby wing gl120 esc. I was hoping this set up will allow me to go 100+ but I’m probably gonna need different batteries. Would like a 1500 MAH or 2000mah battery be sufficient for speed runs
