really great explanation of the compressor. This will not only going to help me in vegas but that's really going to help me in every DAW software because this video defines the mechanism and function of compressor
Hi. I am using 6:1 Compression starting at -12bd. I am still getting close to clipping with loud peaks created by accidental contact with the camera hand Grip while speaking. I have been trying to keep peaks to -3b or lower on the Master Bus but lowering the event volume also makes my overall voice lower. I am not understanding how to go about this the right way. can you elaborate?
Until this minute..i had no use of the master bus tab so i had removed it from my workspace....its coming back up for sure now...thank you for the tips...liked the video....btw i love the full range 8 bit video option in vegas pro 18 but i still havent figured out a way to render a clean unpixelated video in magix AVC codec....any suggestion would be really helpful
This is the video I wish I saw a while ago. Great explanation!

Good stuff! As much as I like Audacity for audio-specific stuff, doing this in the video editor saves so much time!
thanks so much you just 100% inprove my sound
Is there a tool that brings down your peak volume automatically?
Very good 👍🏾
Thank you so much! You're a star!!!

Maybe u should do a comparison between Vegas Pro Vs DaVinci resolve or avid , Adobe
How come i can't see my wave form anymore? Everytime im recording with my mic nothing appear. I tried the SHIFT and UP u said it didnt work.
there's a preference about being able to see them. I would check there.

Do Forget Loudness
you talk too fast and your video is blurry, thank you any way
I don't think its blurry, are you sure ur watching the video at 1080p?
His videos are great and he explains very well. If it's too fast, you can slow down the video
