Feel like if you are doing Yugi, you gotta have the harrower archetype for: -harrow casting where you draw cards for various effects -benevolent spirit deck where you summon cards to protect people -vengeful sprit deck where you summon cards to hurt people
It was a different one for sure! We like pushing the system to its absolute limits. Our first draft had him as summoner, but I think animist fits better as having multiple spirits fits the different themes of his deck.
Love seeing a Yu-gi-oh build for pathfinder, and showcasing a new class from the new rulebook! Now I want to see if I can use the same class to make the Shaman King.
Society doesn't make sense because the story of Duel Monsters is literally about Atem trying to figure out his identity. Also, they aren't Yugi if they can't cheat their dice rolls
i'd suggest getting a pop filter, you p's are very noticeable. otherwise good work. 1:24 pet peeve, the heart of the cards is not cheating but rather a function of the magic system. the more skilled you are, the more in tune with your cards you are, the greater your ability to draw what you need is. if you're good enough, you can create the card you need out of thin air. magic items and aliens help certainly, but are ultimately not needed
@time2dice Also, how would he start with +2 in dexterity, since none of his class, background, or Ancestry ability score increases are going into dexterity?

….i didn’t realize this exited. It’s a perfect fit!
@@time2dice yeah... i dont mind you do a Remaster of this video to account the Harrower Archetype for Yugi! :D
"yeah man thats pretty good- INTIMIDATION!?!?!?!?!!?"
I love all the cards you referenced! And the fact he cheats at everything
Also cant wait to see yall branch out into new types of content
Fun concept. Definitely Animist or Summoner for sure

Very creative, would never have thought of using animist for this and much less to use cards as spirits. Also a very functional build

Family matters most, so the reduction in output is understandable.

Uh... doesn't different worlds need you to be able to get feats from a different ancestry?
Upon further review you are correct! Sorry
