Hey what spots do u recommend I’m from bako and I wanna stay within 2 hours of driving but upper part of kernville, and a decent camping/trout fishing spot if u know any
Limestone area is a really nice place to go. It's high enough to avoid most rafters and nice and cool at night. I believe all camp sites along the river are closed now because of the fires up there.
Any of the places where you can pull a raft in or out, is usually a good bet. Pick up a kern river rafting map and it will show you all the places the trout truck can get in to stock.
@@theplug2145 they usually sell them at the sporting goods stores in Kernville. They are also on the kern river rafting websites and some of the forest service websites. When all else fails, just look for the rafting signs and registration areas along the river. Hospital flat, camp 3 and fairview are usually pretty good, but get there early before the swimmers and rafters show up. Good luck!
1 yr using the right pole,,ugly stick,,2. Right bait,, premium salmon eggs red label,,3. Gotta use the red Anodized single salmon egg hooks..4. Fish are always looking upstream,,always hike up stream and Sneak up on them in those little back eddies and pools,,,if you hike down Stream they see you coming and they go down to the next ponds you will scare them all the way down the river,,,lmao Killer video keep at it

Hello that fish is very small, why don't let it go?
It was hooked in the gills and wouldn't have survived release and it's not a wild trout.
