- How much time exactly passes between two Ninjago installments? In today’s video, I’m sharing my estimations for the time-skips between Ninjago seasons.

I think the timeline is:
Pilot - S1: 3-4 Months
Beginning S1 - End of S2: 1 Month
S2 - S3: 1 Year
S3 - S4: 6 Months
S4 - S5: 1 Month
S5 - S6: 1 Month
S6 - Dotd: 3 Months
Dotd - S7: 1 Week
S7 - S8: 1 Year (Confirmed)
S8 - S9: 1 Week (Confirmed)
S9- S10: 3 Months
S10 - S11: 6 Months (Confirmed)
Hm. I don't know. I feel like the time between S5 and S6 should be a bit longer, and I don't like the idea of Cole being a ghost for only a few months.

Okay, time is so weird in Ninjago. Like, how old is Harumi compared to Lloyd?
Way younger except for the fact that lloyd was hit with a aging potion they would be the same age if that hadn't happened
So if f you really think about it then Lloyd and Harumi are the same age
oh my god i just realised that
I belive loyd is 17 while harumi Is 16 because loyd had a huge age skip.
Same age
So that means its been a total of at least 4 years and 6 months since the start of the series. This makes me wonder how old the ninja really are.
Kai and Jay: 23
Zane: 1-2 (including what happend in season 11 about 70)
Cole: 24
Nya and Lloyd: 20

To me it is:
Pilot-s1: 2 months and a half
S1-s2: 4 days
S2-s3: 2 years and a half
S3-s4: 3 weeks
S4-s5: 1 week
S5-s6: 2 months
S6-dotd: between 3 and 5 months
Dotd-s7: a week
S7-s8: a year (confirmed)
S8-s9: a week (confirmed)
S9-s10: a month
S10-s11: 6 months (confirmed)
Since the events of skybound were reversed and so was time, I think it's safe to say that Ninjago Day of the Departed takes place right before the time that skybound ends.

Between season 2 and 3 it is confirmed to be 1 year
Read the book A team divided. It explains what happened between seasons 3 and 4. I am not sure if it is canon though. Nothing conflicts with the show.
I think this is it:
Pilot-S1: 2 weeks
S1-S2: 1 week
S2-S3: 1 year
S3-S4: 2 months
S4-S5: 2 weeks
S5-S6: 2 weeks
S6-DOTD: 1 month
DOTD-S7: 3 days
S7-S8: 1 Year confirmed
S8-S9: 1 week confirmed
S9-S10: 2 weeks
S10-S11: 6 months confirmed

season 9 to 10 has to have been longer since the monastery had been rebuilt and Garmadon to have been convicted.
Zane was captured by RONIN?! I hadnt never know that. I didnt know, why the Ninjas know Ronin in season 5.
The Ninjas fought Ronin in the 3DS game: Shadow of Ronin.

I agree with almost all of your points, except for the time between seasons 9 and 10.
Seeing as Ninjago City is a growing population, it wouldn't take long to restore Borg Tower to what it was. Let's say, a week at most. Then, the Bounty wouldn't take long either, if the people who built it still had the blueprints. Maybe 2 weeks, possibly less. There's also the freeways still being rebuilt as well, so I doubt it was 4 months. Then again, this is just my opinion.

Pilots-S1= 2 weeks
S1-S2= 2 days
S2-S3= 1 year and a half
S3-S4= A week
S4-S5= A few months
S5-S6= A few months
S6-DOTD= A month
DOTD-S7= One or two days
S7-S8= A year (confirmed)
S8-S9= A week (confirmed)
S9-10= Some weeks
S10-S11= Many months (confirmed)
S11-S12= Some weeks
S12-S13= A week
S13-S14= A week
S14-S15= Many weeks
And S15-S16= 1 Year (confirmed)
Did everyone forget what jay said in Season 9....when Wu became a Teenager ?
He said that wu became a Teenager and then Kai told him that their are teenagers themselves...and afterwards Jay tells kai that they are "Grownup Teenagers" which implies that they are MOST likely between 17 & 19

Kai is 18, Jay is 18, Zane is 75 (he is a robot), Cole is 19 and Lloyd is 16

Instead of the timeline of Ninjago continuing while including Skybound, I'd say instead we actually use our heads and think about how in Season 6 the events were reversed. So id say the official timeline goes like this.
Season 5 - Day to the Departed
1 month.

My opinion is:
Pilot-1: A few weeks
1-2: A few days to a week
2-3: One or a handful of years
3-4: A few months
4- Shadow of Ronin: (I know it's not canon but it's mentionted in the show so events similar to it would have taken place) A few days to weeks.
Shadow of Ronin-5: A few months
5-6: Weeks or months. Becoming famous doesn't take long.
6-Dark Island Trilogy: 6 is reversed, I believe it's a few weeks.
Dark Island Trilogy-Day of the Departed: A few weeks to month
Day of the Departed-Season 7: A few weeks to a month. They seem to be relaxed after Clouse's attack.
7-8: I didn't know this was confirmed as a year, I thought it was several years.
8-9: A week. This is confirmed.
9-10: Many months
10-11: Six months, this is confirmed too.
11-12, 12-13, and 13-Island and Island-14 are all a few weeks.

Season 1 to season 2: 5 days
Season 2 to season 3: 1 year and a half

Season 5 to season 6: 4-5 weeks
DOTD to season 7: 3 days
Season 7 to season 8: 1 year
Season 8 to season 9: 1 week
Season 9 to season 10: 3 weeks
Season 10 to season 11: 7 months
Season 11 to season 12: 1 month
Season 12 to season 13: 1-2 weeks

ok its been taking over 4 months now for these guys to build a firestation next to my apartment, yeahhhhhh building a new city and improving it would take WAYYYY more than 3 years if irl it takes more than 4 months for one building, also 4 months near the end?? uhhhhh thats just bs
They didn’t rebuild the entire city, they only had to rebuild ruined areas. Also, this comparison doesn’t work. It takes 4 months to build one building, but imagine if you had 10 crews working at once. Then it would take 4 months to build 10 buildings.

S4-S5: 6 months (April 2015-October 2015)
S5-S6: 6 months (October 2015-April 2016)
S6-DotD: 6 months: (April 2016-October 2016)
DotD-S7: 1 week (October-November 2016)
S7-S8: 1 year (November 2016-November 2017)
S8-S9: 1 week (November 2017-November 2017)
S9-S10: 3 months (November 2017-February 2018)

Pythor's Revenge is a book that takes place between Day of the Departed and Hands of Time and the book has been confirmed to be canon to the TV show. But I don't think you'll really miss out on anything if you haven't read the book.

Tommy Andreasen actually confirmed that Season 3 takes place 3-4 years after Season 2. I don't know how long ago he confirmed this, but he confirmed it.
@Black Thunder_31 Well, the protagonists of most of the tv shows are 12-13, so it is safe to assume that Ninjago is not an exception.
