I love how in that end scene in season 9 when zane, jay, and kai had a shot with their basically canon now love interests (pixal, nya, skylor) and what caught cole’s eye was a lady with cake

i agree so much with season 6 being an amazing ending. The ninjas almost lost and even if Nadakhan finally will die, they will still have to face that a lot of bad things will happen if Nadakhan DOES DIE! The islands will fall and destroy ninjago city, Nya dies, Lloyd is old, and more!! I was so shocked by the choice of Jay to reverse everything but with a small change to solve everything! I thought it was very smart and unexpected!

I totally agree with the season 6 ending! Usually the ninja usually defeat the villains with the help of one of them unlocking their true potential, sacrificing themselves or some sort of other intervention. The ninja never really had anything to lose by winning. Sky bound was different and quite creative as though the ninja would’ve won they would’ve also lost Nya. It was a very cool win-lose situation instead of flintlock shooting nadakhan and everything going back to normal. The addition of Nya being hit was a very nice touch. Jays wish was the only way things could’ve been undone and I appreciate the bey unorthodox style that skybound ended.
My unpopular opinions:
1) I actually liked Season 11's Ice Chapter, I liked how we learned more about a different realm and the people in that realm
2) I don't really like Harumi because of the way she tricked Lloyd, but I understand where she is coming from and why she has her motives. (Yes, I even understand why she seems to hate Lloyd the most)
3) I like the ninja's new designs over their older ones, and part of why I put this as an unpopular opinion is because I think Kai's and Jay's newer designs are much better over their older designs
Those are the biggest ones I can think of as of right now, because those are always the ones that go through my mind whenever I think of my unpopular opinions
I agree about Cole not needing a love interest, about skybound’s ending being epic, and more.

i was writing down my opinions as i watched and wow these aren't as unpopular as you think they are!
1- THANK YOU FOR DEFENDING SKYBOUND!!! jay deserved to have his intelligence and bravery showcased and i think that was a great way to do it.
2- man so far i am agreeing with your every word haha. rebooted felt like such a shock when i started watching it after waiting so eagerly for it to come out. all of the technology out of nowhere, the dumb love triangle subplot... just really wasn't feeling it.
3- hell yes! harumi is freaking fantastic. her emotional manipulation is so dark for the show, and her backstory is killer
4- i agree to! ronin needs more development. what is his backstory? i want to know more about him
5- yes, dareth was so funny in s2, but he was like the only truly bad part of s9... ugh i was so tired of him
6- i really want to like kailor, i think it could be a really interesting dynamic and i think skylor is an awesome character. but MAN do they need more development. i would love a moment where skylor struggles with the fact that she betrayed them all in the past, maybe someone brings it up and it causes her to spin. would be really awesome.
7- i don't really have an opinion on this so ima skip
8- valid! i think cole's doing great on his own. although i do love romance, i think if every character had a love interest it would start to feel a little weak and bogged down.
9- agreed! i think that it was really powerful and furthered lloyd's development
10- her voice acting isn't the best yeah sdklfgj
11- agreed! most of this season was really not the best, but i liked the ending
12- when i was a kid, i loved the filler ninjaball run, and i still have nostalgia there

An unpopular opinion of dailyrolord: morro and harumi are my favourite villains, only talks about harumi
I agree with most of these. I love the idea of the FSM being a final villain, it would be an amazing twist and all of the ninjas reaction would be epic!
Garmadon's death was necessary but it doesn't make it any less sad :c
Imagine mission marrying WU and suddenly lloyds uncle becomes his father and his 2 fathers are brothers lol. Awkward.
Unpopular opinion: season 7 is a great season because it has character development for Kai and Nya

Unpopular opinion: I like season 9 dareth
Another thing I like about the season 6 finale, is the fact it wasn't ninja vs some pure evil mindless creature/invention.
Season 1 was the devourer season 2 was the overlord Dragon, season 3 was the golden master, season 5 was the preeminent, season 7 was the iron doom, and season 8 & 9 was garmadon's colossus.
Aside from season 4 we hadn't seen anything original as the "final boss".
With the filler episodes here's what i think:
The first one i really hate tbh it's my least favorite episode of the entire show
Pirates vs. Ninja isn't THAT bad because lloyd learned spinjitzu there and it introduced dareth
Double trouble was fun because of the bizarro ninja
Ninjaball is just a really wacky and fun episode even though it wasn't that good
The one where they become kids i don't like but it's important to the plot since lloyd got older
And i *LOVE* Wrong place wrong time. That was such a good episode!
My unpopular opinions:
1. Season 1 is a top five season. The amount of development for all characters was quite a lot and it is one of the seasons i like watching the most.
2. Morro is an overrated villain. I think he is a great villain, but I am really surprised people like him so much. To me, he feels like a very emotianal villain and sometimes even acts like a spoilt kid. Some other villains showed less emotion but still were ruthless, eg nadakhan.
3. Another big one: lloyd is an one-dimensional character. I like lloyd, but his whole character and most of his relationships with other characters are primarily derived from him being the green ninja. His powers, his leadership, his daddy issues, his determination to fight for what is good etc. He does not have an evident weakness, while most of the other ninja clearly have.
4. DotD is not that bad. It is my least favourite season, but what would you else expect from a holiday special. It still had some nice scenes although the plot was really rushed and weird sometimes.
5. Maggia is overrated, blunck and ragmunk are not that bad (as comic relief)
My main issue with maggia is she is only busy proving how good of a general she is and how bad the other two are. She does not fight at all and her plan to attack the temple only just succeeded because the ninja were so cocky. At least blunck and ragmunk provided us some humour, although they should not have been generals to achieve this.
6. Season 8 is overrated. I think many people like it because of the darker tone, but this only starts in the last three episodes. Most ninja did not really get development and the plot is very generic. The thing I dislike the most is they are fighting a motor gang (no, not sky pirates, ghosts or serpentine, just normal humans) and they got flat out beaten in the first episodes! How??
7. Coles development since season 8 is not that good. Some aspects were really good (him and wu) but some also made him way less serious. I hope they give him more development as a serious character, because right now he feels less mature to me.
8. Harumi as a character and her death. I hated harumi which means she is a really good villain. But my first reaction to her death was: good riddance. And then, okay she kind of redeemed herself a bit. My main problem is she is too sadistic especially to lloyd. I get all the devourer stuff but she wants specific revenge at lloyd who was a kid at that time and did not do anything wrong to her. So I think it is good her character stays concluded.
9. Season 9 dareth is not that bad. I actually find his brown powers quite funny. The only thing I dont like is that they included him in the final episodes. He basically did nothing.

Skybound ending was the worst part of one the best seasons in general. Rebooted was planned originally to have only 4 episodes. Yeah, it feels kinda rushed and sometimes ragged, uneven. The first pair and the last pair of episodes are nice. Harumi's motives are one of the worst in Ninjago. Period. Ronin was one of coolest parts fo Season 5 and then writers made him much worse. Ronin was a good character in past, it's writers' fault they flawed him. Skylor had pretty much the same fate. Ninjago likes to throw off characters with the next season, and Skylor didn't get much development since season 4 because she didn't get enough screen time. Agree with your thoughts on Wu and Misako, though. Sasd the they completely forgot about it. Completely agree on Cole. Garmadon's death was acceptable, but his comeback was unnecessary garbage. With Mystake they chose a wrong path. Fights were one of the strongest things of Season 7. I also like some of the filler episodes, especially the "Darkness Shall Rise". The concept of Overlord was good, it just wasn't implemented properly. The writers should try really hard to make Overlord the Final Villain, because he deserves it to be highest quality ark in Ninjago.

I agree with pretty much everything here. But what I REALLY agree with was Cole not needing a love interest.
Because I’m getting tired of the “the hero gets a partner at the end” sort of thing. For once I want to see the hero just being okay on their own.

I quite like Kylor, it felt like it should go somewhere at the end of tournaments but it didn't. I think that's why it's weak. It had a good set up to make Kai have a more developed personality as well as Skylor, if they took the opportunity, it would feel like a much better relationship.

Jay's final wish is the best scene in Ninjago, without a doubt, and episode 64 The Way Back is my personal favorite episode out of all 15 seasons.
With the time reversal and allowing them to destroy things also the realm crystal is gone flintloke shot it

I kinda like the season 2 filler episodes, they were my favorites when I was like 6
Same! I feel like they added some time to wind down. But for some reason I just do not like Nina Ball Run. I don’t know what it is.
Rebooted was a really good season, but I still feel like the Overlord is a bad villain plot-wise, he isn't unique, he's just equal to evil.
Final villain should be Pythor. In my season, he gets defeated by Skales in a final slither pit.
Whoa, same idea as mine since we never get to see those 2 actually fight. To think that Skales used to be Pythor's 2nd in command but now is the new Snake king and is now a family guy. It would be nice to see them battle in a slither pit sooner or later.

They should make a what if episode on what happened if Jay did not delete sky bound from the time line
Day of the Departed would be so much more depressing, Ninjago would be crushed to smithereens, the Time Twins would never succeed in their plan, the Oni Trilogy wouldn't even happen, Lloyd would die not long after S6, and Master of the Mountain and Seabound would not happen either. SoFS and Prime Empire could happen, but it's a 50-50 coin toss that depends on whether the motherboard for Prime Empire is found in the rubble or not, and whether the ninja go out exploring (it's just the OG four at this point because Lloyd, Nya, and Wu are dead) and stumble across Aspheera.
I like skybounds ending but I wish all the ninja remembered the events

Kai and Skylor are terrible! If they love each other so much why don't they stay together? They get romantic when they're around each other at times, but most of the time they don't even talk!

As for the ones stated in the vid:
I agree with most of them if not all lol. Especially kailor and rebooted and skyboumds ending.
As for my own opinions (I'm master of unpopular opinions :D)
1. Jaya is HIGHLY overrated ( i can write an entire rant over Jaya trust me but i don't want to offend anyone so lets just leave it at the fact that Jaya is one of my least favorite ships in all of TV show and media history canon and non canon excluding illegal ones)
2. New ninjago isn't nearly as bad as some people say it is
3. I really love Cole and Wus bond
4. Lloyd should not get a love interest again.
5. Harumi should not come back.
6. Nadakhan shouldn't come back.
7. Seabound is overrated
8. Cole shouldn't be part oni
9. Lloyd in s1-7 was a very weak character
10. Day of the Departed was enjoyable
11. Cole and Vanias dynamic and friendship is very well written and i honestly wouldn't mind if it turned into an official ship (although i prefer cole without a love interest in canon).
12. Aspheera was actually an ok villain
13. SotFS certainly isn't the best but i feel it is overhated
14. The soundtrack is better than the fold songs!
15. Ninjago would actually work good as an anime if they could get a professional studio on board
16. I prefer the new designs MILES over og (yes, even Kai and Jay and Zane)
